Scheduled my daughter for an ear piercing appt. with Luis. Good selection of high quality jewelry. Luis was very knowledgeable and took his time to make sure she was comfortable and understood all the aftercare instructions. She decided to do a double lobe piercing that day and is already talking about a helix piercing, will definitely be scheduling with Luis!

Followed Luis on TikTok not realizing he was a local piercer, once I found out he was local I knew I needed to book an appointment with him for a specialty piercing. He took the time to thoroughly explain the procedure, the healing, and the risks. He is truly a professional, with years of knowledge and accumulation of techniques. He answered all of my questions without condescension and made me feel confident and safe during the procedure. He is adamant about proper anatomy and jewelry quality, and has the persons safety and comfort as a top priority. 10 out of 10 would recommend

Had an amazing rook piercing done by Luis Garcia! I chose him due to his many years of experience and work within the APP and his professionalism and knowledge really came through. He walked me through everything he was doing which I really appreciated, and made me feel really comfortable even though I was super nervous (the piercing didn’t even end up hurting much). Highly recommend anyone be pierced by Luis!

Amazing, easy experience. Drove over from Pittsburgh to receive a surface piercing from Luis and it was 100% worth it. Very calming and quick with his technique. Definitely planning on taking another trip out to get more work done!

Luis is the best! I went to him back in 2017 and refuse to go to anyone else. So happy he’s in jersey now! He’s so professional, thorough, and quick. He explains everything so well and walks you through the whole process and placement. Not to mention he’s super sanitary and the entire shop was very clean! Already booked my next visit!

I can not say enough positive wonderful things about 12 oz studios. Kenny and Maggie are the receptionists. They always greet you with a smile. They are very pleasant and polite. Megan Patrick is my artist. She is very sweet and very personable. Her artistic vision is absolutely amazing. I like full vibrant color and she does not disappoint. She takes the time to listen and really understands the direction of what you would like done . She does a lot of research and takes her time drawing up an absolute amazing perfect tattoo. .She has done three tattoos on me. We are now working on a very difficult cover-up. We have one session done and it already looks 100% better. We have two more to go. I am excited to see the final outcome. Then we will be moving on to my next piece. I am excited and look forward to all my future tattoos with Megan Patrick. Highly recommend.

12oz studios was great start to finish! I messaged them with questions for ear piercing for my niece on Facebook and they responded quickly. Calling to schedule an appointment was easy. I’m not sure who I spoke to on the phone but they were professional and talked through everything with me and booked the appointment/ deposit. Maggie called to confirm that appointment and was professional and helpful with my questions. Day of the appointment (12/17). The store was clean and comfortable. We were greeted immediately. Luis was awesome with us. He talked my niece through the whole process, showed us the sterilization process. The piercing room was clean and comfortable. Luis got it done quick and easy, my niece didn’t even flinch. We will be back to Luis for any other piercings and definitely recommend to anyone looking for a good shop!

I would not recommend coming here for a first piercing or any piercing in general. The atmosphere with the piercer Luis Garcia was very hostile, condescending, and intimidating especially for people who have anxiety or are nervous. He was very rude and angry.I came here on my birthday to pierce my nostril I felt like the placement was off and I told him if he could move it to the right he told me that he couldn’t go “right” he could only go forwards, back, etc… I was confused on directions he was giving me and tried to explain to him but he cut me off multiple times and I still wasn’t getting it instead of trying explain he just raised his voice and repeated himself and when it didn’t work he got visibly upset and raise his voiced and repeated it again as if it would work he was condescending throughout the whole experience. He made smart condescending remarks with a lot of attitude when I was concerned about bleeding he said “yea that happens on human days”and before that got mad that I didn’t think the placement was correct and blamed me for making him late to his other appointments I can honestly say I was 5-10 minutes late but once I got there we had to wait about 20-25 minutes for him to pierce me. I came here last year for a piercing everything was ok he was still condescending and hostile but wasn’t necessarily rude the process was smooth seemed hygienic and the price was reasonable so I’m not sure what happened this time. I don’t know if he is the owner or not but his behavior was not professional at all and he should work on getting over his personal feelings on his own time and not take his frustration and insecurities out on the clients who are getting permanent things done to their body. He rushed the process and didn’t properly close the piercing I had to take the bottoms piece off and close it properly on my own at home. Both times the receptionist were really nice and welcoming I’ve only had a problem with him.

I got my nose piercing jewelry changed here by Luis and he did such an awesome job! I really appreciated being talked through the whole process and being told exactly what was happening and what kind of jewelry I got. I will definitely be coming here for all of my future piercings!!! I highly recommend this place and piercer!! Thank you so much again!
