We could not even stay the night. The guy working the front desk was extremely nice and understanding. The neighborhood is less than sketchy. The room was dated, smelled of cigarettes but the locals walking around did not make me feel safe.

THE WORST! ! DO NOT BOOK HERE! ! This is a nasty, filthy hotel. Very disgusting rooms with a serious ROACH infestation. Has grimy floors, walls, curtains, walkways, stairs . Bones, roaches & trash under the edge of the refrigerator. The pillow cases were white & the pillows were so dingy with holes in them . The entrance door has a 1" gap under it. The non smoking rooms smell no different than smoking. There's shady looking residents who obviously live there full time with rooms piled up with stuff (never get rid of an infestation that way). Who lurking outside oftherooms all hours. Ask for a refund and leave!!

Please, please, PLEASE do not even consider staying here. First of all, the atmosphere of just the outside of the hotel is horrible and it does not look presentable at all. But the worst part was when we actually went in our room… there were flies everywhere, sticky gunk on the floors, mold on the walls, blood and stains on the sheets, and worst of all…. cockroaches everywhere. They tried very hard to mask it all under horrible renovations but they did a terrible job. The pictures they have posted of this hotel are deceiving, it is not nice at all. This hotel needs shut down by the health department and taken offline. We walked in the room and walked back to the front desk within minutes to get a refund. The ONLY positive was that the attendant at the front desk was very nice and understanding, gave us no issues in regards to cancelling our room. Please do yourself a favor and don’t even consider booking this hotel.

I'll admit, most of the reviews are correct. It was not the most up-to-date or cleanly place. I was on a budget and just needed to lay my head somewhere. The service however does deserve mentioning. All my requests were met, and speedily at that. Thanks to all the previous reviews, I knew what to expect and was able to prepare myself for my stay. It was fine for a night, but I really wouldn't stay beyond that as I did experience a roach in the room. Overall, I'd give it a 2 star for service and price.

I came home to visit family for my birthday. Most of the hotels/motels were either booked up or extraordinarily expensive. This one was the cheapest and had vacancies so I booked it. Once I got there, I saw why. The room smelled strongly of Fabreeze and the carpet was wet. I figured the a/c unit was leaking and it was working very well so I let it go. The cable TV was a little more than snow. I let that go because I wasn't there to watch TV. I just wanted to sleep. I was going to extend my stay until a roach crawled out the nightstand drawer. I checked out the next morning. Very sad. I gave 2 stars only because of the good customer service.

24Sep2022 Front desk was a nice employee. That was the beginning and end to the best part of this hotel. Cigarette butts lined the sidewalk to the room along with the aroma of such. The room appears to be mid renovation but is quite dirty. There are stains all over the carpet, walls, trim work. Cigarette burns on bedding. A roach bait trap under the sink. Mouse droppings on the towel...yes Mouse droppings. Overall it is quite gross, and unsanitary.

Did not stay because the rooms were dirty, looked unsafe & sketchy characters watching you check in. The location was good. However, the description on the website gives a different location, which is why I booked it in the first place. Once I got there, I told this to the front desk and they immediately refunded my money with no hassle. You have to contact whomever you book the hotel/motel with, if it's not directly with the hotel. I gave 2 stars because the motel is located in a safe part of Salisbury, MD. However, it seems like one of those places you have to have your hitta laying next to you.

DON’T DO IT!!! We reserved without reading reviews. We arrived and drove around the building and immediately knew that we were not going to stay there. Then we read the reviews. We went just down the road and had a great stay at Hampton Inn. They said that in the last three hours we were the third guests that checked into the Hampton after seeing the Days Inn. The Days Inn should be shut down. There was no second guessing to give up our non refundable payment for the Days Inn and pay more for another hotel. You could’ve pay me enough to stay at that Days Inn.

This is really three and a half stars but that was not an option. First off I was worried about this selection because of some of the reviews so we fully inspected prior to checking in which they allowed us to do with no problem. We checked shower, toilet, inspected sheets, fridge, microwave. All was clean. Slight antiseptic odor but not a nasty odor. No bugs noticed and this is day two. Everything worked. Rugs should be removed or updated as they are dated. Pool was beautiful. Warm, clean, and a good size. It goes up to five feet Bedding was fine. Outlet situation was weird. There was one behind the nite stand though so was ok. Price was less than most places and was affordable. About 15 min drive to the beach. Do pay for beach parking. Breakfast was white bread with butter and jelly available. There is a toaster. Also Activia yogurt, fresh coffee, tea, and lemonade. This didn’t matter to us as that didn’t play in to our decision but it was okay for something before you went out to a breakfast or early lunch. The AC worked great and they have it cool for you when you walk in. TV good and has options. There were enough towels but no shampoo or conditioner. Maybe if we asked. The shower wall had some staining but was very clean. It was probably water stains. The water pressure in the shower and the water temp was good. There was soap. Also a hair drier and iron. This is a value hotel and for that it really was good. We were there for a long weekend and it made the trip affordable and possible. It is not what I would choose for a week stay as I would want more amenities. We would stay again for two or three nights. Also, the front desk people were very nice and helpful.

This is the ABSOLUTE WORST hotel I've ever booked. The reviews showed it was good and all the other hotels in the area were full. On the outside of the door there were roaches and then I looked inside and there were roaches everywhere, no bedding on the mattress, and it smelled horrible!!! NEVER STAY HERE!! You're better off in your vehicle.

1 star is one too many for this disgusting place. The "non smoking" room freaked of old, stale smoke. There were no towels, non at all, in the bathroom. It took over an hour to get a couple of towels. They advertised "Free Breakfast"...their free breakfast was a Hostess Honey bun. There wasn't any cream for the coffee. There were bags of garbage right outside the door. Bugs everywhere! Filthy shower curtain. The bed only has a sheet. Froze my butt off! The place is horrible!

First room had the TV missing and an open can of beer. Second had a TV but also dead dead bugs, stains sheets n and when I checked the mattress it had signs of bedbugs. Avoid this place. Room was equally priced with way better rooms in MD .

My boyfriend and I booked a room at the days in by Wyndham for 2 nights. DO NOT GO THERE!! Literally have not been to a worse place to say! Drug paraphernalia was left in the room. Blood was splattered on the bathroom wall. Hand prints were left above the sink (clearly leaning over top the sink). A big yellow stain in the middle of the sheets (had to ask for new sheets but the phone in the room did not even work so we had to walk all the way back up to the front desk TWICE). No towels were in the room when we got there (had to ask for those too). Did not get new towels or sheets for over an hour after asking for them TWICE. There was a HUGE stain on the couch and on the floors of the room. The bath tub was not fully operational (leaking out the side with side panels hanging off when we got there and jets were full of mold and dirt so when turned on produces some of the nastiest water ever). Roaches were in the cabinets (to be fair in the glue trap but that was just left in where food is supposed to go??) and climbing up the walls. Let's just say my boyfriend and I DID NOT feel comfortable staying there for even just one night out of the two nights we had paid for. BIG WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY!

Room was moldy, smelled like chorine, dirty bedspreads, dirty tub, mildew on shower curtain, faucet handles fell off, no tissues, no cups…disgusting. NEVER stay there!!!!! No refund since had been checked in for more than 30 minutes before I complained!!!!!!

This motel is very outdated and would not recommend to anyone...location to nearby restaurantsis the only nice thing. It looks as though it might have been in the process of getting a remodel (I sure hope so) Cigarette holes burned into pillows, comforter, carpet stained, outside pillow cases dirty, bath tub drain dirty, toilet wasn't bolted down, mattress itself filthy!!! I stayed with a nearby friend until late, then returned to clean after buying new pillows and linens at the local Walmart and disinfecting the room just to stay up all night and watch TV until early morning and checked out. I took pics upon arrival of all stated issues...the pics online of this place must have been when new! Save yourself the hassle & stay elsewhere...unless it gets a much needed a face-lift!! A OPENED AND USED SHAMPOO BOTTLE HAD ABOUT 1/4 OF IT LEFT ON VANITY...NO CONDITIONER OR ANY OTHER AMENITIES TO BE FOUND.

If I could give 0 stars I would. No one should stay here. I felt very unsafe, so we did not even spend the night. How to access the 2nd floor rooms was at the end of the building with very little lighting. The toilet was not secure to the floor and wobbled. It did look like there were clean sheets, but there was a stain on the comforter. Don't stay here....pay the extra money and go elsewhere!

NEVER AGAIN! Website pics are def better than in person. The room had a nasty musty smell. The sheets were all stained. We had to move to another room due to the water in the shower not coming out.

Stay away! I would give it 0 stars if I could. We tried 3 different rooms and all 3 had live cockroaches, some also had dead ones. We showed the man at the desk a picture of a roach from one of the rooms and he asked us "are you sure?" We asked for a refund and a receipt. The man told us that he has no way to print us a receipt for the refund. At that point, we decided to go to the Hilton just down the street. The women at the desk there said they are constantly hearing about roaches in the Days Inn Hotel and they don't know how they can stay in business like this. Bad for the Days Inn, good for the Hilton, I guess.

DON'T! Just DON'T!!! The bathroom was filthy. It could not have been cleaned because the soap from the last person was still in the room; as well as a 1/2 empty bottle of shampoo. The carpet in the sleeping area was disgusting and falling apart. The curtains were ripped. I literally put duct tape on them. The A/C unit was on the floor and there was a big connector with drywall screws sticking up and out about an inch. One nighttime stumble and it would have been tetanus and/or electrocution. The room reeked of right & left handed cigarettes. The only reason for cars to be coming in and out ALL night to go upstairs for 5 minutes or less would be drug deals. I took pictures to show to friends, then came home and burned almost everything we took with us. Unfortunately, I booked under a non-refundable site. Seriously, DON'T!!!!!!!!!

I walk in and see a high school aged kid at the desk. First problem is just how little motivation he seemed to have. Just seemed like the fact he had to deal with customers on a slow night was an inconvenience. Then he assigned us a room that was already occupied. So we go back. Didn't even acknowledge he made any sort of mistake. Also a man who I assumed was the manager walked out during the transaction and didn't even acknowledge we were there. Got a different room and it was non smoking yet, guess what we smelled. Changed to another room. Still smelled like smoke but decided all the rooms were probably gonna be like this. The bathroom was awful. Toilet wouldn't flush. Shower was not clean. The beds smelled. If I could rate this 0 stars I would. If you need to stay in Salsbury, pay more money for a nicer hotel.

THE WORST place eve!!!. Fly infested. Filthy. Many holes at the bottom of the tub. Where is the HEALTH DEPARTMENT? Where are the POLICE? No trash can - I could go on but what's the point. We couldn't consider laying on those beds. As I was returning keys to start the 4 hour drive home with my very sick friend at 11 pm, I saw an unsuspecting family with 4 kids unloading to head to their rooms. I almost cried for them. Anyone else shocked that Days Inn & Wyndam has their name on this property? Is this what the brand is about. They refused to return our money, becase we didn't follow their protocol.

Rooms seemed to be recently renovated, but are infested with cockroaches. The outside of building is falling apart and the lot was trashy. All the trash cans were constantly full and the dumpster area looked like the landfill exploded. A few of the employees were very nice but others were rude and impatient. The manager seems to have no control over the motel. Also, they filled in the pool and turned it into a parking lot. To top things off, there seems to be a lot of illegal activities going on all around the place, didn't feel safe, and have no intentions to stay there ever again.
