I absolutely loathe when the office staff out votes and settles on ordering from here. We place our lunch order about 10am so it completely baffles me when I order items from the menu and there has always been a problem. I am vegetarian but they offer vegetarian options on the menu but I guess never in the store. I had to settle for. Cucumber, cheese, tomato and a boiled egg on toast. This was very disappointing.

Came here 10 years ago during college to get a jaw breaker sandwich. Stopped by today to try the sandwiches and breakfast with the fiance and nothing has changed. Everything was exactly the same as I remember it used to be. There is so much value in the food here!

It’s not online but they do offer gluten free bread & it’s good. The GF bread (unlike many others) does not fall apart easily. The sandwiches are large & they are generous with the meat/toppings

My first visit to this restaurant today. Arrived at 12:00 to buy a sub for takeout. I was greeted by an elderly lady who proceeded to take my order. I ordered a pastrami sub with L,T,O,mayo and mustard. After that, I was lost. A complete language barrier between the two of us. I didn’t ask for help, so I didn’t hold up the line, again this was lunch time. I was surprised when I got home to see what looked like to me a “ wrap” cut in half and put into a small clam shell container. The pastrami was overly fatty and had a rubbery texture and taste to it. Very disappointed and sorry to say I won’t be going back. “ sub” , a bag of chips and 2 bottled Pepsi + a $2 tip, over $22

Went in to get breakfast, was decriminated against. I am a black male I was standing by to the soda machines after I ordered my food. The staff made me wait in the other room and after other people came in to order they were able to stand and wait in the same stop that I was told I couldn't stand. Until they paid for there food. I give it a zero for customer service. I haven't been treated this in a long time. We will not be going back, but I think people should know.

My first time ordering from here. Got the shrimp salad sub. The sub was okay and a bit small in my opinion. Customer service was excellent. Was able to get in and out with 10 mins.

Best deli in Maryland. You won’t change my mind. The shrimp salad is tops. The surf and turf (shrimp salad w. Roast beef) is my go to. Lumberjack - roast beef with turkey on a sub roll is delish also. Be sure to add bits Staff is super friendly and efficient. Great selection of chips

Taneytown is the best place for great sandwiches! My favorite is the roast beefsloppy second on toasted rye. They have great prices for a whole lot of food. The only down side is they have limited weekday hours.

Overstuffed sandwiches are delicious and prepared with fresh ingredients. Service was extremely friendly and quick. Nice seating area as well. Loads of different bagged chips to pick from.

Great sandwiches! We had a small family party at our house. I was going to get a party tray but I ended up ordering 2 dozen different sandwiches. They came neatly wrapped in wax paper and aluminum foil. All marked what they were. Easy to lay out for the group. Everyone loved them. Quicker and easier than a party tray. Order was ready on time and boxed when I walked in. Well Done!

Superb Reuben sandwich. Has an awesome bodega feel supported by a massive menu. Look up their menu on the website before ordering, it'll help with indoor traffic. They offer tons of sandwiches but the Reuben is delicious!

Nice Reuben sandwiches with the right proportion of meat, bread, and sauce. Also the fries and the onion rings were quite crisp. Good quality food for a cheap price.

This place is awesome. The selection of sandwiches is so extensive there's bound to be something for anyone. I just wish they stayed open later than 3.

Best sandwiches ever! Huge variety in selections and the fillings are generous. You can order them exactly the way you like. Lots of sides, all delicious. Breakfast and lunch items. Sadly, they close at three. Parking available on street.

First time buyer. Found the food to be superb and tasty. Prices were within reason. While it was a 25 minute drive for me, I'll visit again soon.

Great food - and such variety - at good prices. Staff members are efficient and friendly. There are plenty of tables if you want to eat there. The restaurant isn't updated, but is very clean.

Local sandwich shop with a ton of options. Everyone I have ever heard was awesome. Everything made fresh. Worth the little wait while they make it. Shrimp Salad was my choice this trip.

It’s not as good as I remembered. Lassis club was decent. Prices are good when compared anywhere else. Chicken salad was ok- I did not eat, companions did. Service friendly and pretty quick especially since everything is made to order, as far as the sandwiches are concerned.

Absolutely amazing, I even told my son. Spanish breakfast platter with a side of turkey bacon was chefs kiss. I was worried because I didn't eat before hitting the road and needed to take my medicine. I was visiting from VA and remembered they are located close to my sisters house. I will be returning soon. Sorry no pictures, I inhaled my food as soon as I was able to sit down and get comfortable. Thank you Taneytown for the amazing food. Very pleased with your service!

I have been coming to Taneytown Deli since my early teen years and continue to go several times per week until this day. I can't even name one thing in particular because I absolutely love EVERYTHING I get from here. My only complaint, if I had to make one, is that you can't get anything with eggs/breakfast after 11:30am. And that's my favorite part of coming here. Outside of their breakfast entrées, their deli sandwiches are super STUFFED with quality meats and fresh produce. They are always willing to accommodate my special requests (at an additional fee). They have very personalized feel to them, as they remember their usual customers by name.

I normally wouldn't do this but I have to say I have been dealing with this spot a very long time and on a norm it's fairly gooItsthis one time I ordered a steak sub with American cheese and fried onions with a well done toasted roll.Well I'll tell you the roll wasn't toasted or if it was it's even worst then it should of been. When I opened the perfectly wrapped on🫔sub it was so greasy the roll was mushy. I took pictures of it for proof as I didn't know what I was gonna do.after about an hour or so I thought I would call and of coarse you have bring the food back if you want a remake. Well I really don't desired to go back . They can keep the money. They just lost my business .moral watch when you order the steak and cheese with fried onions if you don't like greasy soggy mushy rolls let them know ahead of time.
