Cockroach’s are everywhere in the beds and there’s ants and other insects that live in the wall as and the floors. Lots of the doors have been broken into with a crowbar and don’t lock or shut all the way. The worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. even though I had pictures and everything to back up everything and still every room he moved me into was dirty and smelled horrifying like something has been rotting for a long time. This hotel should be shut down and torn down immediately because of health and safety concerns. It’s not fair to charge people 138$ for a night with all these problems and leaks and broken systems. One lady with the face covering was banging on my door when I was in the shower and threatened me. They should be ashamed of this hotel seriously I don’t get how people can be so rude. Where’s the cleaning people?! Why do they think it’s okay to not take care of things like they should!? I’m so tired and disgusted by this experience, I woke up with bumps all over my arms from getting bit by roaches.

Utterly disgusting rooms. Had booked multiple rooms for a group and every room had their own unique issue. One room had mold growing, one carpet was WET, one room had a brown stain on the sheet, and one room stank of cigarette smoke. When we had confronted the front desk to either clean the rooms or rebook us, they told us they had no cleaning staff on schedule and it was only him at the front desk. On top of that, one of our members had an asthma attack due to the poor conditions. This establishment could not get any worse even if they TRIED. Don’t be fooled by the low prices or the free cancellation. Book something nicer for a few dollars more. One glance at this establishment and I would not stay here even if you had paid me. Will never be staying at a comfort inn ever again.

We Stayed overnight on Nov 3 2023. Had I had time to inspect the room I would not have stayed there after checking in I just dropped off my bags because I had an appointment. I returned to my room ready to have a cold drink and shower... I went to get ice and there was plaster all over the machine. I went to another floor to try to get ice and it was so much mold and mildew on the machine that I chose not to. Upon returning to my room I decided I would take a shower that didn't happen either because the tub was filthy and had roaches crawling in and around the tub. There could be no other arrangements because it was late I also booked the room for two queen-size beds there were two full-size beds with old soiled mattresses. Because of these unsanitary conditions it costs both my partner and I to become ill. I will be discussing this matter with you over the phone and I expect a full refund.

As a truck driver, I travel constantly. Therefore, I spend most of my life in motels. One of my favorite brands is usually comfort inn's. NOT THIS ONE. First time staying at this location. The reason for a low score is predominantly due to the poor, unprofessional, and completely unfriendly service I received from the lady at the front desk. I am a choice privilege's member and made my reservation online. On arrival, there was a sign at the front desk that they were away helping another guest, so I waited patiently. When the clerk finally arrived 5 minutes later, she asked what I needed. Mind you, she seemed to have an attitude right out the gate. I was very friendly and respectful the entire time, yet she continued to roll her eyes at me and sigh as if I was a problem. 30 minutes later, I finally had keys, and she slammed the paper and pen on the counter for me to sign. I finally had enough and asked her why she was acting this way toward me. She ignored me. As for the room, it is not up to the standards I'm accustomed to for a Comfort Inn. This place does not represent the brand well at all. I will not be back here again. Spend double elsewhere, and you'll be much happier.

Please read all the reviews before booking this Hôtel. This hotel was still Comfort Suites when we booked the room for 4 nights. I am normally really good at checking reviews before reserving a room but didn't this time around and I regretted it from the start. My job relocated me to Baltimore. I had to wait a week before I could move into my apartment. This was by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed in through Choice Hotels. This hotel is an embarrassment to Choice Hotels. Please beware of hotel staff sneaking into your room to look through your things when you are not in the room and having a person looking out in the hallway. They were in the process of renovating when I stayed 3 weeks ago. They should have shut the hotel completely down. Very dark hallways. Roaches in room. Dirty bathtub and the list goes on and on. The front desk staff were extremally rude except for the lady that checked me in and the lady that checked me out everyone else acted like we were a burden. I had to check all my belongings outside in parking lot to make sure no bugs were trying to escape this horrible hotel. Never again disgraceful. Stay away!!!!

Addition - shuttle to airport does not run after 10am!!!! Made a cheap Ways into an expensive one. Hotel also was sadly not great. Worst Clarion I have stayed in dirty. No shampoo. Plenty of conditioner. Kicker was a used bottle of lotion. Staff seems really unhappy. It was everything I could do to get a smile out of someone. I try to always give staff a smile because especially in service jobs you need that. Not a single one. I know there have been problems there and honestly if I had of read reviews before booking, I would not have done it. Important if you are flying out at a mid-day - the fee shuttle only operates on limited hours! Anyway look elsewhere to stay and park. Importantly to Clarion, treat your employees better so they can smile.

The room renovations have a lot lacking. You would expect much better in hotel renovations. It was just sad. I just was at a loss for words. The staff was very nice but the smell of strong marijuana throughout was disappointing. I know the corporation of comfort inn& suites can do much better than this. We've stayed with them many times in many other places and they've been great. I sure hope this one will recover and do better with their renovations.

The rooms like nice in pictures but the overall cleanliness of the hotel and the rooms is something you'd have to see In person. At first I thought the room was pretty nice until further inspection of the bathroom and just walking around the hotel. The shower was kinda gross, they had patched the tub but woulda been better to just replace it, not to mention small baby roaches in the bathroom as well. I would go to the front desk but I'm sure they'd move me to another room and who knows if there would be roaches in that one as well

I parked my car at this hotel, and when I was communicating with the front desk, a woman who seemed like the manager spoke loudly to me with a very impatient attitude. I wonder if it's because I'm of Asian descent? I just wanted to know the shuttle schedule, and this elderly lady kept shouting that it should arrive in 15 minutes. It's clear that their shuttle doesn't have a reliable schedule; it depends entirely on their mood. Although I'm only here for parking and not staying, I'm glad I didn't stay here. Far from it.

If I could rate this at 0 stars I would. It started off at our first room at check in. We came here for an event, so we had a few people booking rooms. The other people seen roaches crawling and they complained, which nothing was done about. Then I checked in my room and I looked at the bed and right on the sheet was a bed bug which I showed a picture to at the front desk, but it didn’t seem to faze the lady working there. Then we checked into the next room only to find multiple roaches in our room, mold on the ceiling, and the walls falling apart. I just started reading the reviews and honestly I wish I would have read them prior to booking because I would have never stayed here. I have never had an issue with a choice hotel before until today. I am disgusted and that’s an understatement. I will file a complaint and I am turning them in to the department of health because this is foul. And I be you I will never see s refund for this stay even with the proof!

Okay, we selected this hotel based on location and convenience to BWI, but what a great value it has turned out to be!! Management is updating and it was all good. Our room was nice, very clean...and no odors as previously mentioned in other reviews. Extra added plus is the attached restaurant. It was very nice with great food. Bonus!

Disgusting rooms, we had to check out within 2 hours because the rooms were not cleaned, curtains had food/vomit stains on them which the staff refused to acknowledge, room was a non-smoking room yet strongly smelled of cigarettes which again the staff refused to acknowledge. We asked for decent, clean, non smoking rooms (which we had paid for originally) but they couldn't give it to us. I always thought "clean" was a basic expectation in hospitality industry!

This is going to be long so let's begin. The room: Good size for myself and another. Beds were comfortable that we bragged to our friends about them. Sleeping was tough, seemed like the time of night we were laying down our neighbors started banging on the walls and scream/talking loud. The second night someone hit the wall so hard that shook the wall! Smelled like cigarettes but I also did not see any "do not smoke in rooms" sign so I figured they allowed it due to the window able to be opened. The bathroom: House keeping is either teenagers or none existent. The walls have never been wiped down the floor has never been mopped and if so just with water and not any floor cleaner. Shower was good though. Temperature was great and the curved bar for the curtain gave so much room. Just a quick wipe down wouldn't hurt. Service: we walked in and seen a lady at the elevator and Noone at the desk but only for a few minutes, then another lady showed up. As we are checking in the lady that was at the elevator came back and was behind the desk on her phone so to see the first employee who seen us and walk away just seemed unprofessional a little. But check in was easy due to me and my friend wanting to split the cost. Both ladies were VERY nice and welcoming. Lobby was in bright and welcoming and clean. Hallway/elevator: Smelled like weed, wasn't a bother but it just kinda hit us in the face at first and the smell went away as we got to our room. The floor right outside the elevator was dirty and needed swept but it was cleaned sometime while were gone for what we were there for. Location: perfect for the convention we were there for. Was only 15 minutes away from where we needed to be. Small checkers was perfect for small Bute to eat and gas station, good price for gas before we left. All in all, I understand the ratings they have so far but they really need to up their game on cleaning.

Checked in to a Double Suite with my family 12/19. The front bathroom had urine all over the toilet. The back bathroom door was rotting from water damage and there was blood stains on the floor. I went to the front desk and asked politely for a new room and was given onr on the 5th floor. Walked in to that room to mud tracks throughout the entire room. I took several pictures. The floor it self smelled like hot day old fish. Seeing as this was not acceptable for my family I returned to the front desk and asked for my reservation to be canceled (I literally made them 30 minutes prior to check in) and was declined due to being booked 3rd party. When I called 3rd party company to report the issues they said they would call to help refund my money and they too were declined. The place is a dump and I'd avoid it at all cost. I was there a total of 20 minutes and needed to sanitize my self once leaving.

I found this affordable hotel close to the airport. The room and price were muy bueno. I called the hotel prior to arrival to make sure the room booked on line had a jacuzzi tub in the room. I was told there were 3, rooms with jacuzzi tubs in the room and only one of them worked. I was told if mine did not work, I would be taken care of at the front desk. Upon check in, I was told by a woman at the front desk, I believe she was a manager (She kept calling me the wrong name), that the room I was staying in would be gone in 3, weeks because the hotel was undergoing a remodel. She said the jacuzzi tubs were being taken out and replaced with walk in showers. When I got to my room my tub worked however, it was filthy. The room smelled of cigarettes. There were yellow drip stains on the wall, the heat/air conditioner did not work, the knobs to turn it up or down were not there and the black desk chair was dirty. As I was checking out. I had to say loudly “excuse me!” the woman behind the counter. She was having a conversation with a man about getting something and meeting up later. I didn’t know to put the key card in the bowl and had been saying “good morning” to her at least twice. I was really surprised when I found this hotel. It was too good to ask for, close to BWI, free breakfast, in room jacuzzi. I did not eat, I did not take the shuttle as planned, and I did not soak in the jacuzzi tub. I was thankful I had a little spray bottle of bleach to clean the toilet seat and door knobs, and I brought a blanket with me so I was able to sleep on top of the covers. Moral of this long poor review is, If it seems to good to be true it is. I feel management should provide me with a voucher for when they remodel so I can return and hopefully give them a better review.

Horrible people own this place. They treat people terribly. Bugs too- yup the 1st day I got there… can only use their lobby coffee machine for like 1hour/day, they’d breakfast sucks! You’re lucky to get yogurt. It’s slabbed on a table- nit really anything to eat and no where to even toast anything…and I could go on about how they treat the people that pay money to stay there! The room- tiny. Can’t even get towels! Owners are jerks.

I have no idea what the other reviews experience was or what exactly they were expecting.🤷🏽‍♀️ But for me and my family it was great! The room was very clean. The bathroom and bedding was clean. The front desk staff was nice. Of course the grab and go breakfast was also delicious. Parking wasn’t an issue either. And their free airport shuttle facility was also very very nice I’m definitely coming back really soon they have great offers for a very reasonable price.

Stayed in this hotel with my family because our flight was canceled and this was the only option. It was either sleep in the hotel lobby or book this hotel, and we should’ve stayed in the lobby…. The rooms were absolutely filthy… boogers on the wall, mold, The bathroom door didn’t shut, the bathroom floor was slippery and grimy, your feet would stick to the carpet.. You name it, it was gross. Unsafe neighborhood. These pictures are deceiving, The hotel looks nothing like this anymore. Parking lot is littered with needles… the shuttle driver for the hotel even told us the hotel is a “dump” the only good thing about this hotel was the shuttle driver who made us laugh. If it came down to staying here, or sleeping outside in the rain… bring a rain coat and sleep outside…..

Renovations looking good. But, rooms still have roaches! Needed to walk outside about 100yds to get to a restaurant for "free" breakfast. Extremely limited cold breakfast: cereal, muffin, coffee., but only one of each. Prepaid shuttle to airport/ ship terminal doesn't run when it snows. Was left stranded at ship terminal with no way to get back to my car.

I love writing positive reviews. However, the only positive thing I can say about this place is that the person at the front desk was friendly. I had to ask for another room but there was no improvement. Both rooms have had the safety bar ripped from the door, both have had the smoke detector pulled from the wall (the top part of one is completely gone, the top part of the other is hanging down the wall by the wires). Even though there is a $250 fee if you smoke, it is obvious that people have smoked a lot here. The sheer curtain has nicotine stains, and the curtains and bedspreads have cigarette burn marks. There are bugs flying around in the bathroom. I understand that the hotel is undergoing renovation but this neglect goes beyond that. This is truly the worst place I have ever stayed. Comfort Inn should be embarrassed to have their name associated with this location.

DO NOT STAY HERE! This place is dirty there is nothing else to say about it. The tub is stained dirty no amount of cleaning is getting that off. If you check in at night be prepared. The person working thinks he can just read magazines sitting by the front desk like a customer. For the money, you spend you are better off sleeping in your car. After the ridiculous encounter, at the front desk clerk read a magazine for 30 minutes while I stood there. I waited to report my issue to the morning front desk. She acted like it was no big deal. Told me I should have told the night person. He didn't even want to check in me, why would I tell him. I didn't want an argument at 11 pm and get kicked out. She would report it to the GM. They know those rooms are nasty and falling apart. Response to owner: I don't need to see the camera. I was there and saw you on the same side of the desk as me reading a magazine. I had no idea you worked for the hotel because you were smoking when I walked up and came in and never went behind the desk. I started banging on the plastic after standing there while you read. I thought we both needed help. A real employee would have walked in and started helping me. You didn't do anything. Instead of being worried about which bathroom the customers use there should be more attention to the dirty hotel. The renovation will not address not cleaning. The picture of the yellow stain is what the hotel wanted me to use to sleep with. Your whole response was about you reading the magazine. Address the pictures of the dirty room. I will make sure that Expedia removes this hotel from their platform. No one should be tricked into staying here.

Oh how I wish I’d read the reviews! I didn’t even think to, because I’ve always had good experiences at Comfort Inn properties, but the rooms are in really rough shape. The last photo is blurry because I startled a roach with the flash, and that was my last straw. I could live with some stains for the price per night but not the fear of one of those creepy crawlies adding themselves to my luggage. They are renovating, so I imagine this will be improved, but…I would wait until those renovations are done to stay.

Checked in last night. The hotel is what you would expect with 2-3 star rating. It is what I expected. They gave me a voucher for breakfast at the 9 Five restaurant next door for $30, and said it was serving breakfast from 730-10am. WRONG!! I got there right at 9am, the waitress was in the back, so, I set down and waited about 10 minutes for her to come back out. Apperantly, during the week... the voucher is only good until 9am, NOT 10am, so she refused to honor it. Really?? Yeah, but the time you came back out with the other guys coffee it's over!

We have stayed at this hotel in the past with no issues. This trip was horrible and we will not be using this hotel ever again. The woman who checked us in was less than helpful, we couldn't pay for parking while we are on vacation because their system was down and she told me to pay for it online which there was no way to do so. I asked about the shuttle to the airport and she showed me the flyer (which I already read ) and tells me to read the schedule, which there wasn't one. We ended up driving to the airport and paying for parking. The room was disgusting with bugs and stains on the walls, carpet and linens. The doors didn't close the whole way, the toilet barely flushed, and the air conditioning did not work. It was set to 61 and we were sweating because it wasn't blowing cold air. This hotel went from good to a complete dump over the past couple years.

Look. I ain't a pretty princess and I did get a room reserved for individuals with pets, but there were too many things to not leave a review. No desk chair, bathroom seriously needed recaulking around the tub and there was a crack in the shower, no bathroom door, cigarette burn in my blanket, wall mount thing empty.... 🙃. It just seems like this room gets the minimal amount of love. I feel bad for it. I'm about to ask for a desk chair. There's heat though! And the shower runs hot! And it is clean! So there's all that.

We stayed at the comfort inn for work this weekend, and it was excellent! The check in process was very easy. Two nice receptionists were very friendly, and gave us all the information we needed for our stay! Great grab and go breakfast, comfortable rooms.. beds/pillows, a nice lounge area, etc. I would highly recommend their hotel, and would stay here again! I also left a review on the website!

Our stay was very comfortable. We were happy with the location of the hotel. The room was clean and the staff is excellent.price was also good for the value and facilities and cleanliness was fine and sheets, towels looks smooth and enjoy the stay. but needs to search for parking.location was super close to everything.Overall it was a great experience.

Place is amazing people are very kind there. I have nothing bad to say about this place considering what is around here in comparisons. I recommend this hotel best for your dollar! AND DID I Mention they have free breakfast! The facilities are more than adequate and I highly recommend for long term stays.

Please spend the extra $10 and stay at a different hotel. Near the airport which is only good part about this hotel. There were a plethora of cockroachs in my room. At least 10 were found. The whole place smells like cigarettes and weed. The staff was rude and were largely absent from the desk. No one notified that they did not have breakfast available until I walked down to a locked door. Luckily there’s a Dunkin’ across the street.

Flying roaches!!! Stayed on the fourth floor, definitely has a roach infestation. Watched some come out of the wall sprinkler. And we had to take care of a flying roach. Couldn't sleep at all, lack of cleanliness in rooms and water damage all over the building and in our bathroom provides perfect environment for bugs.

I'm not a stickler for cheap hotels, but what the actual...we looked at reviews when we booked. Looked ok for 2 nights... 4 people reading the reviews, then booked it 2 months in advance. The week of our stay, we saw a comical amount of bad reviews...so much that everybody decided to opt out and book a new hotel. I payed the non cancelation price via Choice hotels...so I decided to try it since I had no hope of a refund. I recommend calling and booking if you dare...it's implied you have to book through Choice Hotels online but you shouldn't...it's a 3rd party and they can't do anything to help other than pass you around for 2 days. Luckily the staff changed my 2 rented suites to 2 king rooms in hopes to avoid the bed bugs that the reviews were talking about in the couch beds. Now even with all this stress and anxiety, I tried to keep an open mind. I'm not a clean freak. The room looked ok at first glance though it reeked like cocoa butter and was generally unclean..found a used contact on the floor. Had a broken toilet paper holder that was finagled on the wall so that the next person broke it. AC filter had never been cleaned. Brown splatter on ceiling and randomly on walls. Found 3 roaches, one on the headboard (that disturbed my sleep for a good hour)..anti-bed bug goop on the corners of bed. Staff was the only saving grace of this place. It was worth losing $250 to go stay at my friends hotel the 2nd night. I suggest you just don't. It's worth an extra $50 a night to go somewhere else.

This place is the most disgusting Hotel I have ever been in. I made a U turn after entering the room. Roaches came out from everywhere the walls, under the TV, the table and it was awful....  Smoke filled halls, trashy parking lot and trashy all thru out the hotel. Roach infestation, bugs and smoke filled walls, halls and floors, just terrible. Just Nasty Nasty Nasty, please do not waste your time and money here. The manager and front desk person did not give me a hard time when I asked for my money back, once I showed them my pics and video of the roaches attacking our food and luggage. Great location near the airport but not a good place to stay and bring your family. I wish I could give them a ZERO "0" Got to be more careful, check reviews before you buy the deal...

  • 1/5 Julisa C. 10 months ago on Google
I booked here last minute due to missing a connecting flight from delays. The booking process was easy and it’s close to the airport (13-15 min). The hallways of the floors and the rooms themselves smelled of smoke/weed. Check in was fine, but when I got to the room there were 2 roaches on the walls. When I called about switching rooms, the person working the front desk was able to accommodate a new room, but it seems like this may happen frequently as there was no apology or disgust with knowing someone found roaches in their room? The second room wasn’t the cleanest but didn’t have roaches so I settled. The AC was leaking and the carpet by the unit was wet. The shuttle to the airport was right on time so that was the only plus.
