What an amazing place of worship. I was there early before the mass. Will go back there for the Mass.

Pray for this Parish to continue on in strength. It is by far one of the best churches I have ever been to. I draw so much spiritual strength from all of the kind parishioners, the priest’s homilies, the reverence of the Latin Mass, the BEST confessors I have ever had. Not to mention, the church itself is stunning too. What a holy play.

Father Kiefer is a blessing. He is from the FSSP, Priestly Fraternity of Saint Peter, a Traditionalist group looking to spread the Tridentine Latin Mass all over the world. He is something special and am so glad to have him in our small city, Baltimore. It is my wish for everyone to experience the holiness that exists here. I travel about an hour and a half just to attend this Mass and this Parish. It is a gem. Truth resides here. I always pray 3 hail marys for the Priests. I could have gone to any Catholic Church but I wanted to see what the Latin Mass was like. It's a beautiful and stunning liturgy. Even with all of that, the thing that caught me the most was Father Kiefer's eagerness and enthusiasm. He couldn't give out Holy Communion fast enough. Thank you Father Kiefer for everything you've given us, especially the Sacraments.

Please don’t take this the wrong way. I was called out by the priest for my children being inappropriately dressed for daily Mass, and I want to save anyone else the embarrassment. I can truly say I was ignorant about certain aspects of the Latin Mass before making a last minute decision to bring my six kids (oldest was 13) to a Friday Mass. So my advice: 1) you are not expected to follow along and give responses during Mass like NO, 2) long pants on all ages of boys and skirt or dress if you’re a woman, 3) coach your children on how to take Communion on the tongue, even if you think they know how, 4) bring a scarf or veil as covering. If you’re like me and find it hard to find matching shoes for all the kids before you get out the door, you may find going from the NO Mass to Latin Mass with six kids overwhelming. Perhaps go by yourself first so you can feel comfortable. That’s what I wish I had done. God bless! I hope to make it back by myself someday, but right now it’s too stressful to think about taking the kids again.

Beautiful structure and artwork. A very reverent Latin mass and a brief, relevant homily during daily mass. During Covid-19 they are still administering the Eucharist on the tongue, but with a fantastic sanitation process. I felt entirely safe while losing none of the reverent beauty of the mass.

A true power House of prayer. Immediately upon entering, you can feel the holiness of our Lord. We moved away 3 years ago and I cried to have to leave this church. I love that the traditions have been kept. Breath-takingly beautiful. Tenebrae service is unlike any other.

Being in my 70's St Alphonsus has had a profound impact in my life. As a child my grandmother would take us to mass there before we went shopping on Howard Street, the 5th Avenue of Baltimore. It's the most beautiful and peaceful place, church, I know.

During the late 70s and early 80s the church was a favorite place for me to visit while hooking school. Mass, novena and benediction were always scheduled and were awesome to me as my home parish, St Ambrose was more contemporary and Afro-centric. The doors always open and services well attended. Sacristy sisters moved about dutifully and quickly. Confessions always heard, church smelled of wax candles and incense. Bells rung during consecration and for Angelus. God, those many statues. "The good old days done gone!"

I attended mass here a few years ago and it was amazing. I want to get back down there asap, but Im afraid of driving in downtown traffic. The mass I attended at Saint Alphonsus was the most reverent, holy, beautiful form of worship that I ever experienced. I was blown away. I hunger and thirst for this beautiful God, centered worship.

One of the most beautiful Churches in the state of Maryland! This gem in the heart of the city is a refuge for those Catholics who want an experience of the beauty and solemnity of the Traditional Latin Mass!

Absolutely fantastic. One of the rare gems in Baltimore. I should know I visited often 10 years ago when I lived a half bock away. It was German and then a Lithuanian then and still does mass in that native tongue. Beautiful architecture. You must see it if you visit Baltimore, you will kick yourself if you don’t!

I went to the early, low mass. It was a nice change of scenery compared to my home parish. I just wish I could hear the homily better. (For reference, I was sitting in the middle of the church. )

We visited on a weekday for a noontime mass. Easy to find and street park beside the church. An absolutely beautiful church and a reverent mass.

The most wholesome, fruitful and reverent church I've ever been to.
