It was a pretty bad room for $40 a night. Walls are paper thin so you're able to hear everything your neighbor does even using the restroom. There is toilet paper shoved in the cracks of the walls and around the door and windows to keep the cold air out of the room. The TV in our room didn't even work cause someone cut the wires to it. As well as the bathroom floor had no tiles, toilet was backed up, the sink barely had any water pressure and the bathroom was so disgusting that I'd rather urinate in the shower rather then using the toilet and I'm a female so that should say something. If it was possible I would have given it a quarter of a star. I feel bad for the housekeeper she does her best making the place nice to stay at! She was a very nice and loving person. Her name is April and she was the best housekeeper I have met at any hotel. She should have better equipment to clean the rooms rather then a vacuum that appeared to be from the 90's.. Other then the friendly housekeeper everything else is not worth staying the night.

Would happily go here again to potentially risk getting Hepatitis. If you love art, you'll really enjoy the way puke is painted over the walls in a very surrealistic way. Really makes you wonder what was going through the artist's mind at the time of they created what can only be considered their "magnum opus." Really quite inspiring.

can' t put less than a star.. you want to get sick, catch a disease, sleep with bugs on you the whole night? don;t take your shoes away and find some crawly new friends in the shower, if you're lucky the water will be clear.. expect red eyes after shower

I really enjoyed the bed all those springs felt like a massage My kids really enjoyed the biology experiment with the bugs. All the stages from larvae to butterfly were available! We took blood samples from the wall and we even found AB group and enough for my transplant! It was 40$ for the room but they accepted my cigarettes from the reserve instead

I stayed here last August with a friend of mine on our way to an escape room in PA. This place is great for $40, u get a pretty standard size room, luke warm water , and the roaches werenโ€™t that bad if you keep all the lights on .. and dont leave powdered donuts and sticky sweets laying around, just common sense ! Plus it was summer .. roach season .. i wouldnt say the hotel was filthy ...๐Ÿ‘€..but the blood stained walls were a little alarming ! However, , it could of been there from a previous owner of the building and the current hotel owners just never got around to painting the walls.. big deal! Old buildings equals history. I didnโ€™t mind the used toliet paper full of number 2 in the waste basket as i understand the toliet doesnt flush like it used to as it does look old so what? This isnt the hilton its freaking $40 ppl stop complaining! The only reason i chose not to give it 5stars is because they dont offer an indoor gym .. I mean come on swan motel...thereโ€™s obviously bloody show downs going on in these rooms , the last thing i wanna do is be to weak to fight.. i loved this place and i even booked it for my 87 year old grandparents for a weekend retreat last summer.. i guess they liked it , i never hear from them anymore ๐Ÿ˜’๐Ÿค”

Would give 10 stars if possible. For a $40 you get a humble yet amazing room with everything one would expect from a small locally owned road side Hotel. The beds were comfy, the shower was hot, the sheets were clean. Free Q-tips and extra soap in some of the rooms. A charming part of Maryland that really showcases what the DC area is all about!

Thanks to Another Dirty Room by Dan Bell on YouTube, this is really bad. Avoid unless youโ€™re about to die and have no other place to go. But youโ€™re better off sleeping in your car. The sink was clogged with literal vomit, blood covered every inch of the room, and earwax was on the curtains.

Absolutely stunning rooms. I've stayed with friends in almost all of them now and lemme tell you, absolutely the best place to relax and get away from it all. Staff are polite and helpful when taking care of friends who relaxed a little too much and wouldn't wake up.

5 stars HIGHLY recommended ! Only one roach ! Someone left some food in the fridge for me and once you pick the blue things off the bagel, they were delicious. Definitely recommend the hotel oatmeal. Just wish it was closer to Brooklyn. OH ! And it looked like they tried to get the cum stains out the pillow cases !! โ˜บ๏ธโ˜บ๏ธ
