πŸ‘πŸ‘ Excellent facility! Went here for a tournament and was pleasantly surprised. There was plenty of parking, ALL of it close to the fields due to the central location of the parking lots. The fields themselves are in excellent condition (the turf looks no more than a year old) and they are clearly numb... People often mention fields, parking, park, nice, good, field, clean,

Excellent facility! Went here for a tournament and was pleasantly surprised. There was plenty of parking, ALL of it close to the fields due to the central location of the parking lots. The fields themselves are in excellent condition (the turf looks no more than a year old) and they are clearly numbered by the park. The fields are all fenced in, so protection from and recovery of balls is excellent. The fields all have stands around them, as well. The bathrooms were good size and very clean. The children's park area was also very clean and had a fair number of pieces of equipment for the kids to play on. The location is safely away from the main road, but close enough to make it easy to get to.

This is a really nice park. There’s something to do for all ages. The playground is really big and sectioned off for different age groups. Their β€˜AstroWoodchips’ are nice for a comfy play and leaves kids mess free. The swings are almost at the right height for adults. Bathrooms are super nice and clean. Open during park hours to the best of my knowledge. Even have a water bottle filling station. Didn’t go onto the fields but look really nice. And they have lights, I’m sure for rentals they would turn them on at night.

Troy Park at Elkridge is Howard County’s eighth regional park, joining Blandair, Cedar Lane, Centennial, Rockburn Branch, Savage, Schooley Mill and Western Regional. Troy Park consists of two lighted synthetic multipurpose fields with press box structures and bleacher seating, parking areas, and a playground. I have enjoyed my visits for the Joward County Jaguars football season.

Very nice facility with playground and multiple multi use turf fields. There are multiple parking lots and bathroom facilities in good condition.

Went for a 7 on 7 touch football tournament. The fields were in incredible shape but bleachers only on one side. The only negative was the bathroom facilities were not very clean or well maintained. There were several independent vendors selling a variety of products, including clothing. The location is very easily accessible from the highway and it also offers night activities. With every field having lights.

Great facility. A hockey tournament was held here and we had a good time.

The fields and stands are very well maintained. We were there for a large event so parking was difficult but they had people directing us on where to go which helped.

Great facility and they have numerous rest rooms. There is plenty of parking and I never have trouble parking. Very well designed.

Great, large complex with ample parking. Clean with nice facilities for players and spectators. Four stars due to lack of any proper warm up area (best way to minimize injury!) and some fields are poorly positioned with sun directly in keepers eyes. Fields should always run North/South.

Nice, newer park. Turf fields in good condition. Bathrooms were good for a park but a little warm. High tech lightning detection system in place for safety

Nice, newer park. Turf fields in good condition. Bathrooms were good for a park but a little warm. High tech lightning detection system in place for safety. Only drawback/suggestion was that there seemed to be yellow jacket nests under the bleachers which created a bit of an issue. Overall, we enjoyed our visit there.

4 turf fields at various elevations with full electronic score boards makes this a great venue for tournaments. 4 matches can happen simultaneously and there is no confusion when a ref/umpire blows a whistle about which field the whistle was meant for. Restrooms in 3 different locations and lots and lots of parking. Sometime there are food trucks at the venue but DD is 2 minutes away and there are other food choices within a 5-6 minute radius. There is a new place 15 minutes away in Columbia (Merryweather) where there are fancier dining options like Peter Chamgs, Busboys & Poets etc. if you have a long break between games. Parking is FREE at Troy Park! The only reason I give it a 4 out of 5 is because the field isn't great for field hockey which is why I'm primarily there.

Why is it always windy here? Also, they should put nets behind the field goal posts so the ball doesn’t go over the fence and possibly down a hill.

Nice fields and facilities, but short on parking. Quite a walk to some of the fields if you are not there early.

This park has many sports fields and a nice place to take a walk. It has a lot of history as well.

Ample parking. Beautiful turf fields. Plenty of clean bathrooms. Awesome experience

Beautiful park, although it's often busy with youth sports games. If there was an online calendar of events at the park that made it easier to tell when the fields were free, it'd be 5-stars for me.

Went here for my sons lacrosse tournament. The fields are turf, and have electronic score boards. Each field has a set of nice bleachers to sit on. There are 3 areas that have overhangs, these buildings also hold the bathrooms. The playground is large enough for multiple children to play on.

πŸ‘ Nice place to fish, play with the kids. Has a quarter mile track to use that's paved. The only negative about this place is people let their dogs run loose and don't pick up after them but that's not the parks fault. Just watch where you walk.

πŸ‘πŸ‘ Excellent place to walk. Hard top trails surrounding perimeter of ball fields. But it also connects to woods trails part of Hanover Green-Way which is one of the best if not best walking/conservation networks of any town in the area. More info on Hanover's web site.

πŸ‘πŸ‘ Day trip for us. It was great walking around downtown, the college buildings and town green. Lots of restaurants. Beautiful new england town. College was out for summer break but families were there checking out the school. I think it will even be prettier with autumn colors.
