    Sign states appointment required for finger printing but I called multiple times but was unable to make a appointment over phone. I stopped by in person and got a bit lost due to Google maps showing wrong location. I placed a request to Google to fix. When entering I spoke to a polite police officer who got me access to the finger print area. The rest went smoothly even without an appointment.

    First is inside the mall, after 10 mins trying to figure out where it was ,i was calling and calling nobody pick up the phone I came in person thank God they take me as walking.i guess you don't need appointment since all the people that was there with me didn't have appointments... Is next to boots mobile

    Instructions on how to find this place: go thru the plaza to the very end. You’ll find a security desk. Ask them where the cjis office is. If they’re not there, go thru the glass doors to the right of the office, turn right. Walk past the division of vital record and keep walking until u see a green bench. Go thru the glass doors next to the bench. The cjis is at the end of the hall

    A nightmare of an experience. Had my fingerprints issues almost 2 months ago now. CJIS kept saying they have shipped the background check but nothing is received in my mail. When you call the customer service number, they always hang up or on the are occasion someone takes the call, it takes a very long time to reach them. There is no one to contact or report about this and you are at their mercy. Truly disappointing experience.

    Pleasantly surprised how quickly the entire process was. It wasn't busy and the security officer was very friendly. The other staff members were okay- very business like.

    Got off of the phone with the most unpleasant and impatient person just trying to schedule an appointment. I waited on the line for 20 minutes and was on the phone for maybe less than a minute. I had asked what appointments were available on a day and this woman started yelling at me to “just pick a time” and then proceeded to rush me off of the line without a chance to get a word out. Would not recommend even calling this place if this is the type of service you get. Good luck.

    My experience at CJIS was mostly positive. Staff of the facility are helpful and personable. The only mark I have against a perfect experience would be contacting them on phone takes more time and patience than most people have over our lunch break or before they go to work. However, when you do get through on the phone they are helpful and responsive to your request. They will try to accommodate anyone that comes to their doors and treat their customers with respect.

    I called customer service about the status of a background check. The first time I called no one answered and was put on hold for about 20 minutes. The second time I called the lady who answered sounded very rude since the beginning of the conversation. I told her about my situation, that the location that did my fingerprints spelled my name wrong 2 times on the application and that it was supposedly fixed. She doubled check to see if the correct name was there but wasn’t, so she went ahead and fixed and said she would go ahead and get a supervisor to sign it. And after she said that I asked her nicely if she could repeat the entire name that was on the application so that I knew it was spelled right , because I didn’t want to go back and forth again just to to correct a grammar mistake that someone else did. She literally raised her voice at me and got an attitude just because I asked her that !! And when I said thank you at the end she just hanged up!! I just wanted to make sure everything was good because I’ve been waiting on a background check for weeks, when it should’ve have arrived less than a week !!🙄

    Fast! Efficient! This place was really quick and I didn’t need to make an appointment. The customer service personnel were on point. I hope they are getting paid well…this must be a private establishment. 10/10 👍👍

    Do they know they have a phone?? I’ve called multiple times and each call I’ve been on hold for 30+ minutes. I’ve never actually gotten in touch with anyone. Very, very poor customer service.

    As a healthcare provider, I traveled from Charlotte, NC to Baltimore to get my fingerprints done for my traveling nurse assignment. The staff at the fingerprinting location were friendly and the whole process took only 30 minutes. The cost for live scanned was $38.00. It's important to note that the fingerprinting is located in the South Tower and not the North Tower. GPS directions might lead you to the North Tower, so keep this in mind while traveling.

    Just wanted to share that throughout my years of being fingerprinted..I NEVER EVER come here. I've been once years ago and learned my lesson the hard way. There's a place on Frederick Ave called THREE BROTHERS...it's a convenience store with fingerprinting services. GO THERE! No appointment needed and you'll be in and out. Thank me later :)

    The GPS takes you to a different area but if you keep going pass the building it takes you to( it will be on your left) keep going around the corner and you will see a loading zone area with garage doors. Just pass that, you will see parking spaces for county officials. That is the building you need to go into for fingerprinting etc. They are also very quick in there. We didn't wait long at all even with people before us. The place is clean and well kept. The officer on duty for security was respectful and very helpful. The staff was kind and relatable and knew their stuff. There wasn't a single question they couldn't answer about any service they provide. I was very pleased with my experience there.

    These women that work there are the best that I have seen in years They are all hardworking, professional, experienced, patient and friendly. They give EXCELLENT customer service! They know how to deal with irate customers without being rude. Their office is a team that can't be beat. They should be the example of excellent customer service for all offices.

    Went to get a background check. There was no customer left in the office, however the rep reported that they close early and take the last customer at 4:30p. He reported that the process takes five minutes. Please be advised. They need to change hours so customers know.

    It was easy to find, based on previous reviews, I thought it wouldn't be. I went in as a walk-in at around 4:30. The staff was helpful. Overall, it was a pretty painless process.

    Exceptional service. This is the only location that allows walk-ins. I was in and out in <30 mins. The staff is very personable. I enjoyed being served here.

    Traveled 1 1/2 hours for a walk in, wasnt disappointed. The place is a bit hidden and located down the hallway of 6776 door entrance. There's security at the end of the hallway to help you check in, very nice people so please be nice back and make sure you have your ID/forms and authorization number ready. Process only took 15 minutes since I got there at opening.

    This is the most unprofessional, unresponsive agency ever. I gave been waiting over three months for my background check results to start my internship with another agency and this place refuses to answer the phone. You call a messages says they open at 8am. I call at 8;04 am only to be put on by a machine. I go to the website to write this review to see they open at 8:30am. Everyone in this office needs to be FIRED!! They are holding people up that has to conduct business.

    Awful. I can't speak to my experience at the location because I can't even get through to make an appointment. Tried for several days but it always just said "call back later" and would disconnect. I am not local, so just popping in the location is not an option. Ridiculous.

    Was given the wrong information that they take walk ins....ABSOLUTELY NOT! The security officer advised that one should call to make an appt while adding that there are only 3 persons that answer the phones (10-phone lines per operator)😳. I was on hold for an hour with no success. I required this service to renew a professional license. The scam was that the places they refer you to( Global Consulting Services) charge more than double the fees & are extremely rude in the process. Horrible experience...why can't people JUST DO THEIR JOBS!!!

    Had to go here to get fingerprints done. Wait was not too bad without an appointment. Staff was friendly and helpful. It was a little warm in the waiting area.
