If you have love and appreciation for "I Love Lucy" , "Being the Ricardo's" then you will enjoy this museum. I lived in WNY for 18 years and never went to this museum and wish I had earlier. My step brother and his wife went with us and they had not been there in their 26 years of life either. The staff was very nice, the collections were neat to see and being able to recognize some of the items Lucy had wore. I highly reccomend this experience!

I had a fun time. There we're a variety of exhibits to look at. I enjoyed the home videos. There we're also videos of both Lucy and Desi's family background.I learned alot. I spent about 2 hours here. The gift shop had a variety of plus sizes shirts to choose from. Definitely recommend this place to visit.

Second time visiting and second time loving the experience. There are two different sections to see. One side is all about their lives from childhood all the way through their careers. The other is dedicated more to the shows. It's so amazing seeing everything and going through how they came to be one of the most iconic and recognizable couples in showbusiness. When we went on the side where they go through the show you can pay an extra $10 and they will take you picture on the recreated set which was an amazing feature. The kids loved it. They asked "Why isn't everything in black and white like on the show?" That's when one of the staff members came up and explained everything to them and even in terms they understood. Due to it being a little slower while we were there she even walked through partially with us and explained so many more aspects of things that you wouldn't normally learn. Will definitely be visiting again. Also close by are her childhood home, which you can drive by but not tour due to someone living there, her final resting place which you can visit, and the park (where she used to work over the summers as a teen selling hotdogs) where there are two statues in her honor. It's really a great experience all around.

If you remember the show, you will find the museum interesting. A good amount of memorabilia and it was interesting to read about their history. It doesn't take that long to get the museum but it was a different fun stop on our road trip. Buy online and take advantage of some of the discounts. The gift shop was a little pricey for some of the items (a little picture frame was $30).

Great museum! Tons of information about the life of Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz. They have pictures, home video footage, clothing, personal items, furniture, television sets (replicas), and much more! They also have two gift shops with nice items to purchase. If you are a fan, this is a must see! So what are you waiting for? Go for it!

Really nice cool find!! The 3 of us came here and it was a little pricey for what you get buuuut outside of the price it’s a really nice interesting spot to go and see and learn about Lucy and Desi!! They have the sets from the actual show here where they allow you to get pictures taken for a added $10 fee.

This is a very nice gift shop that is located in the front of the Desilu Studios museum. It will is filled with all kinds of memorabilia from the I Love Lucy show. This is also where you can buy tickets for the museum tours. Very informative and worth stopping and checking out. There is no parking lot and there is public restrooms.

My friend and I stopped in to see the Lucille Ball/Desi Arnaz Museum on a Sunday in October. There were only a few people there so we didn't have to contend with any crowds. We really enjoyed the museum and loved learning about the life of Lucy and Desi. There were many photos as well as memorabilia from the I Love Lucy show. There were recreations of the different sets that have been part of the I Love Lucy show. Throughout the exhibit there are tv screens showing snippets of different I Love Lucy shows as well as interviews, etc. There is a second building next door that is part of the museum and it features Lucy and Desi's life outside of I Love Lucy. Both buildings are well worth your visit. We spent about an hour in each building. Both have gift shops if you want to take home a Lucy souvenir. Admission into the museum was about $19 per person and gave us access to both buildings. Accessibility: The entire museum is very wheelchair friendly. However, while using the restroom I found it nearly impossible to maneuver my chair into the stall in a way where I could fit the chair and simultaneously reach the grab bars. Grab bars should be on the left AND the right of the toilet.

Didn’t know this museum existed. We found it by looking up things to do near Kinzua Bridge State Park, and so glad we did! Every Lucy fan will enjoy this museum: recreated “I Love Lucy” sets, costumes and props, and lots of ‘behind the scenes’ info. The museum has two sections. One is all about the “I Love Lucy” show, and the other is the story of Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz and their family. Very interesting! We were there for about two hours and saw everything. $21 entry ticket for an adult. Off street parking. Nice gift shops. If you have the chance, go! Not associated with the museum, but if interested, near by are the house Lucy was born in, her childhood home, the Lucille Ball Memorial Park, and the cemetery where she is buried.

Amazing place to visit! Hubby and I visited on our wedding anniversary and really enjoyed reminiscing! The sets, photographs, information and beautiful costumes were absolutely worth the nominal price of admission and we even got photographs taken by a wonderful employee of the museum for our 2023 Christmas cards! We highly recommend this wonderful gem in the heart of Jamestown, NY! We loved the Lucy & Desi Museum and you will too! Mr. & Mrs. Jon & Nadine O'Brien

Definitely worth visiting, the replica of both the New York and California sets were pretty amazing. Spend the extra $10 and get the photo on the set! Highly recommended! Lots of artifacts from Lucy and Desi.

I love Lucy and I love this museum! Highly recommend if you are a fan! So many beautiful displays, opportunities to have your photo taken in several sets for $10 for 3 minutes. Short videos of her and Desi along with so many props, outfits and photos.

I revisited my childhood memories! I LOVED going down memory lane. You have to be a TRUE fan to appreciate this museum. There is FREE street parking for up to 2-hours MAX, PER DAY. Please don’t attempt to get over. I saw a vehicle with a parking violation. The entry cost is $21 for adults. YOU GOTTA DO the set photo session for $10. I HAD SO MUCH FUN doing this. A museum associate takes as many pictures as you’d like WITHIN THREE MINUTES. You can only sit on the couch in the apartment. The STAFF are extremely friendly! The souvenirs are reasonably priced but it is a museum. ;)

As someone from the infamous Generation Z, I found this museum an awesome tribute to two awesome film stars. There are two museums, as most of these reviews say. :) One dedicated to the show, and one to their personal lives. Both of them were excellent! Great for anyone with a sense of fun and humor!

I am a huge Lucy fan! This was absolutely one of the best trips I could make as a fan. They had so many memorabilia… from the sets, to the clothes, to just fun facts about the show!

Amazing experience. You need to see both museums. One is based on Lucy’s earlier part of her life, one on the latter. Make sure you see both to get the complete picture. This one is the latter part, the Desilu years, where she produced many TV shows including Star Trek and Andy Griffith. See the innovations they had after they took over the RKO set. There’s some great pieces of historical gear here including “the Monster” three headed video viewer to review the dailies.

If you love “I love Lucy” then you’ll love this museum. Also featured is the longer career of Lucille Ball. Deslu was responding solve for making sure the original Star Trek made it onto the air! There is a small plaque explaining this in the last room.

Very nostalgic. So many wonderful exhibits & video clips. Lucy & Desi's home movies were the best! Learned things I never knew. Wonderful way to spend an afternoon!

Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz were some of the most iconic and influential stars from the earlier days of Hollywood, radio and TV. This museum is actually two museums. One celebrating their personal lives and the other focusing on their professional lives. Props, costumes, letters, furniture and much more on display here as well as short videos documenting their lives. Definitely a must see for the fan of America's original TV couple.

We went here while visiting friends nearby. Great museum. Although I grew up watching their shows, I never knew about the early years. Don't miss it of you are in the area

It was a great museum for Lucille and Desi fans. It brought back memories of sitting and watching different episodes with my grandma and mom. You have to be a fan to even want to visit. Many different personal items, set items and show memorabilia. It's put together with care and pride. The museum is set up in two different buildings next to each other, parking is on street, shop is bit pricey. It's one of those places you have to go to at least once to say you have been there. It's a part of history.

Took my mom for a trip down memory lane and what a great day we all had! We had a little one with us which made it interesting but she had a fun day too. there was a lot of videos to watch on the one part of the museum but my mom really enjoyed that while I didnt. they are working on some exhibits so there was a couple "empty" rooms. would love more interactive exhibits. but wd had a blast visiting!

We visited on a Friday. Had a great time and learned a lot more about Lucy and Desi. They are responsible for a lot more of the entertainment industry than they get credit for. We bought the combo ticket and parked in the free lot for the Comedy Center which is a short walk away. I took a lot of pictures of future movies to watch. You can start the museum from either entrance (corner or black awning). Gift shop prices were reasonable. We spent about 2.5 hours here.

We preferred the I Love Lucy museum part the most. I would suggest NOT doing this museum and the National Comedy Center in 1 day. It's a bit much. I think I would have enjoyed it more if we would have done them on separate days. Overall I enjoyed it. Learned a lot about Lucille Ball that I didn't know.

Loved the reproduced TV studio sets. They really were like the originals. Lots of Lucy's famous outfits from her shows. Spoke to the curator and she said that she gets new things from Lucie Arnaz frequently so they change the displays often so you can return again and see new things each time.

Can't express the amazement of this museum. If you're a fan you will love it. I do feel the lighting should be better and offer the stand in stage sets at the checkin counter. This wasn't offered. It would have received 5 stars.

Very neat little museum with show artifacts. I liked especially the desk of Jess Oppenheimer and reading different correspondence between crew and cast. Also got to take photos on the NY apt. set for an additional fee.

This place was awesome! The history of Lucy and all who was involved was done perfectly. For anyone who is a fan of the show, Lucy, the cast or the studio this is a must to see. Take your time and enjoy this very special place.
