This is that hole in the wall you WANT to go to. The outside is shabby to say the least, but the pizza and subs are fantastic. Homemade meatballs and very good quality cheese, not oily at all. The edges are a little more burnt than I personally wanted to eat, but it’s a wood-fired oven and great quality ingredients, so it really makes little difference in my opinion. Super tasty. Very friendly staff too! Definitely a great stop for pizza in Ellijay!

2nd time here this week and the pizza is delicious! New owners = new crust, cheese, and sauce to perfection. My go to for pizza in N. Ga........ Order ahead and eat it there or take it with you.! Half "Mister Twister + Jalapenos" for me and half "Caprese /w white sauce" for my wife. Both sides were great! Molly provided great customer service!

We did a Google search for some pizza and this place come up. We were hesitant at first because of the river rafting rental signs. The reviews told us to look past it and try it. We were greeted by a hostess that handed us a menu. Our eyes went to the River Rat pizza. Great name for the theme in the establishment. It has bacon, tomatoes, garlic, and basil, This pie was heated to perfection in a wood stove oven. Patience is a virtue. Especially for fresh ingredients and a hand-tossed pie. The outer crust has that crunchiness you expect and dark spots from the oven. The bottom of the slice has some corn meal to keep it from getting burnt and from my experience of eating makes for a better slice. The dough inside was soft, a good compliment to the sweet marinara sauce. The tomatoes are sweet and cut medium, which paired well with the basil, garlic, and bacon. Aldo asked us how we liked the pie. In talking to him we find out he is the new owner and has been opened a week. He has a lot of plans to expand the restaurant. The oven can only bake two pies but more when the expansion is completed. The menu has also been improved with fresher ingredients. If you were disappointed with the previous owner please give Aldo and his menu a try. I think you'll like it!!

Absolutely amazing service, and the pizza was top-notch. The owner was very polite and down to earth. Will definitely be back anytime I'm in the area.

It's hot in GA and they only have an itty bitty AC unit. However, the pizza is delicious and the staff was incredibly nice. They had our pizza out in less than 10 minutes and it was so good. Seating inside and outside is limited. Feel like cooling off? They have a lazy river available.

Delicious wood fired pizza. It was cooked to perfection. Crust wasn’t limp or soggy like at some pizza places. Met the owner who is very friendly. He cares about his customers and wants to know if you enjoy your food during your visit. They are very accommodating like if you want extra spices. We love oregano on our pizza so they brought a whole bottle to our table. We will definitely be coming back.

This pizza is GOOD! Really good! We had the “clear creek” pizza and it really hit the spot after a long day of hiking at Amicalola Falls. It is very casual dining and the staff was friendly as well. Highly recommend!

Easily top 3 pizza places in Ellijay, far superior to any chain. A little pricey, but worth it. Friendly staff, great ingredients, and wood fired pizza make this place shine. We’re locals, so they’ll def be in our rotation in the future.

Incredible pizza!! One of the best pizzas I've ever had. This place is a hidden gem. The chef was very kind and even made a flower out of dough and gave it to my daughter for her birthday...which she absolutely loved. Don't miss out on this place!!
