I honestly do not know why El Greco would receive anything less than 5 stars! I have been coming here for the better part of 25 years and it is always reliable for a filling meal. My wife and I came here over a year ago, as I talked it up. However, this recent trip was for breakfast and did not disappoint. She got the bacon eggs benedict and I got the meat lovers skillet. She then got a sticky bun and a bearclaw to go. The eggs benedict were a massive portion and the sauce was almost too thick and rich, but she made do! The meat lovers skillet was amazing as it was SO full of sausage, ham, and bacon! If you like meat, this is the one for you! The sticky bun and almond horn were nice and sweet, making for a good aperitif. The dessert case is so full of goodness that we wanted a bit of everything. Too bad we had other plans for today and it would have gone bad. When in Milwaukee, make sure you stop by and get some heaping portions and great dessert!

I come to Milwaukee a few times a year. I stop at El Greco's every time! Great Breakfast, Fish, Chicken and Desserts. Never a miss.

Probably will be my new goto Greek Family restaurant. Came here because were doing something at Timmerman afterwards. Was happily surprised to discover the big picture window that overlooks the airfield where you could watch flight activity on a sunny Saturday. Waitress was friendly and attentive. Had the fish sandwich which was very well prepared, flakey and tender. Definitely a step above my usual goto Family Restaurant destination. Very busy on a Saturday lunch time, but we still got a table for two right away. Will be back.

The food was average and earned both of the stars. The price was too high for the quality of food. The service however was the worst. The server was rude and unhelpful. She acted like the customers were idiots. The staff argued in front of the customers, overall negative environment. If you have a big family don’t go to this “family restaurant” because they are not accepting parties over six.

First timer. Food was DELICIOUS! We had roast leg of lamb special, San Fran burger. Ended with tapioca pudding and plain cheesecake. Lamb was very tender and flavorful. Hamburger cooked perfectly and juicy. Baked potato just right. Homemade tapioca and cheesecake tasted great. Would recommend!

Nice casual diner on the north side of Milwaukee variety of good food. I love coming here and getting the chicken breast skillet one of my favorites very delicious, nice size portions and very very tasty! And if you get there early enough on Saturdays you get the awesome in house coffee cake

It was busy but not overwhelming. Tracy was our server and she was efficient and Great! The food was Excellent, Thanks!

I love El Grecos. The staff is nice and friendly. They messed up my order one time, and weeks later I called to place another order. Before I can order, the lady over the phone said this meal is free so order anything you want. Excellent customer service👌

My boyfriend called, placed and order for pickup and asked for the French toasted to be doubled dipped, because it has been sold to us as browned toast. There is a very little to no egg mix on the French toast. I have pictures to serve as evidence.

It was great and I liked the prices very much, in Chicago the prices are higher and the portions are smaller, I will definitely come back when I go to you

They have wide vsriety of food on the menu and serve hefty portions. I had the chicken pot pie from the daily specials. Strawberry cheesecake was amazing! Service from our waitress was the only negative. It was really crowded.

Always a great place to eat comfort food. You get a large amount of food. Salads are so fresh & filling. My favorite is the Catfish meal. We are always pleased with the service.

everything was nice. the food was great, there was a nice display of cakes which looked to be delicious and only cost around $5. we didn't buy it but it was nice to know. the customer service was welcoming and she made me feel comfortable. definitely coming back next time.

I've been to El Greco's restaurant several times. I love the atmosphere it's very nice & clean. The food is excellent! Good portions. They have great desserts, the service is awesome dine-in or take-out! Plus-ample parking. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone!

We've been dining with El Greco's for almost 30 yrs and we love it here! Food is always good, service always on point and the strawberry cheesecake makes the experience even better! Keep up the good work El Greco's!

They are warm and caring people. Food is almost always perfect and when it isn't, they fix it. Good values and you won't go hungry. Been this way for decades. Yes, prices have risen but only about the same as regular groceries - and they do the cooking and cleaning. Plus, their bakery is to die for. You can even get a loaf of bread (sliced), including their corn bread - if they haven't run out due to prior customer demand, lol!
