There were roach droppings and body parts in the drawers of the night stands, black mold in the bathroom, dust all over the place which mixed with the mold got me sick. The air conditioning barely worked at all. The key for the door barely worked had to fight with it like crazy every time I used it. The pillows and sheets were stained along with the carpets. Mattress itself was stained bad and hard as a rock. Room was just overall filthy. Not a good experience at all especially for making me put down a $150 dollar deposit on top of the price of the room. I slept in the back of my van the next night instead of staying in that disgusting room. They also aren’t pet friendly. 0 stars overall.

Room was filthy and dusty as if no one ever dusted. Floors were filthy as well as if no one ever mops at all or sweeps thoroughly . Toilet was VERY filthy dirt and dust built up all around the seat and lid of the toilet. They wanted to charge for a change of sheets. I take it that they have a mice problem from all the traps scattered randomly throughout the place. No one at the front desk I spoke with was helpful and were VERY rude so was their security. Breakfast was supposed to be included but none of that due to covid they say but if that was ture the rooms would be clean thoroughly due to covid so I take it their just cheap and do the bare minimum at customers expense. DO NOT STAY HERE! Also kept deposit for honey mustard stain on sheet.

I'll eke out a star for the excellent water pressure, and perhaps another for room cleanliness and a comfortable and clean bed. But there aren't any other redeeming features here. True, it is undergoing renovation, but a mere renovation isn't going to fix what ails it. More like a new mindset. The parking lot looks forlorn. The rooms make it clear that this used to be a lodge of some kind - not necessarily a bad thing, but it's definitely dated. The breakfast appears to be some random items splayed across a room that is also shared with security, or maybe that's a product of the renovations. Some doors are marked "exit only," but there doesn't seem to be many entrance doors, except one clogged with smokers. The security features on the external doors are mostly non-functional. The internal doors take three or four inserts of the card to operate. There is no way to adjust the temperature in the room. Staff seemed rushed and disinterested. Hotel charges $25 for an early check in and a $150 deposit, both of which were shocking. We've stayed in 100s of similar properties and can count the number of hotels that charged either on the fingers of one hand.

Be aware that they will charge you a $150 deposit!! I'm giving this a 2 because it wasn't the most terrible and we had the basic necessitates. Dirty floors, the sheets were dirty, and the a/c unit is an old hvac unit that they have in older schools. (Luckily, I know how they work from working as a custodian) The room has a funky smell. The hallways are not clean either. We only stayed 2 nights. I booked this because I saw a recent review that said it was clean and all other hotels in the area were completely booked. I thought we could trust a Wyndham facility buy this one was just atrocious and not up to standard. The outside doors will not open with your room key and you need to find a propped door. It took us about 20 minutes to find our room the first night. I will never stay here again.

If you're looking for slamming doors and racing cars, this could be a perfect stop. The beds were very comfortable but the amount of noise made for a very difficult night. The bed is right next to the window and door, and there is a visible space under the door that we ended up stuffing to try to keep light and noise out. There's no overhead lighting except by the bathroom so my son was scared to go in initially, even with all the possible lights on. "Too scary." They are undergoing renovations so I hope this is kept in mind.

This place is a dump. I mean a real dump. Booked online and showed 4.2 reviews. Absolutely not the case. Mold on shower head and walls. Stained carpet everywhere. Food and water bottle under the bed. The room key never worked. The a/c didn't work, so they brought up a box fan. Really? The room was 91, and the solution was a box fan. You would think we were in the middle of nowhere how dated the room was. Let's not even mention the free breakfast. Absolutely a joke. They had a tray of granola bars. Not even trying. I don't like giving a bad review, but this place wouldn't even pass for a halfway house for a drug addiction facility.

For me the location was I liked. Everything else was worse than horrible including "Desi" who was basically a con and refused to give me a refund when I told her none of the drains were draining, there were dirty clothes and shoes in every hallway as if homeless people were living in the hallways. The rooms smelled like mold and very damp. I got tye room for two nights and even after the guy at the desk wouldn't give me a refund I still left because it was that bad. I was too afraid to flip the mattress but my friend said he was getting bit by something while sleeping. DO NOT STAY HERE it's the cheapest around for a reason and it should he more Ike hostel prices. 10 bucks a night... maybe if they get rid of the bugs

Ac wouldn't work. Room was very dark with only two lamps and no overhead lights. Whole place needs a major upgrade. People running up and down the hall all night.People were shooting up in the parking lot. Seems like more of a half way house than a hotel. Also there is no breakfast provided. Not even coffee in the lobby or anything grab and go when we checked out. Can in from out of state, front desk had no clue of any place to eat. Recommend the Greek place in the same parking lot but that place made my whole family have horrible stomach issues.

Dumpy place, creepy people there. Do not go if yr a solo female traveler! Room was the best part, bed comfy, although I slept in my clothes, in case I had to vacate the room, as I had a bad feeling abt this place. It was too late to cancel reservations, I didn't have any back- up plan & I was exhausted from travel, so I honored my reservation.

I travel frequently and have stayed in every hotel in West Allis multiple times. I've stayed here at the Days Inn over a dozen and am so impressed with the newly remodeled rooms so much so I'm gushing about it! I'm literally beside myself with how nice my room is! This is on par with other places charging twice as much. The staff is ALWAYS friendly, courteous, caring and willing to go above and beyond for their guests and their needs. This is also the only place I've stayed with vending machines that take credit/debit cards. I've always gotten my deposits back quickly as well. If I could give ten stars I would.

only giving it 1 star because i can't give zero. the main light didn't work. the carpet would get very wet in front of the AC unit any time it was on. we found a old dirty used crack pipe in the bathroom. went to grab a towel to use and a crack pipe fell onto the bathroom floor and broke. i would never stay here again.

There is no lighting except an overhead light by the bathroom, there is something yellowish green around the entire rim of the bathtub, the towels were dirty, the hvac system is stuck on high heat (no a/c), doors slamming every 10 minutes, the bathroom door handle is broke. I would have been more comfortable sleeping in my car.

By far the noisiest hotel I've ever stayed at. It was a Saturday night so more noise was expected. This was over the top. I waited 2 hours until 130am I called the police after calling the front desk 8 times in two hours to complain about the noise. I've stayed at hotels all over the country and never experienced a night this bad. After the police arrived, the tile me there was someone in the office. I then talked to the night desk attendant asking why she didn't answer the phone? She said it didn't ring. ??? The next morning when checking out, I spoke with the manager on duty. Apparently, the number listed on the website is NOT the number to the hotel. She blamed it on the corporate office for losing the wrong number. Ok then. What about the noise last night? She said if it was too loud, I should have left. Really? It was 3am by the time the police left and voices got quite. Then we got to hear doors slamming every ten minutes the rest of the night. Woke up to slamming doors. When I asked the manager why they didn't do anything about the noise complaint, her answer was "your the only one that complained" Maybe, just maybe, the noise makers were all together? Nah. I apparently was just hearing things all night. The rooms were clean, in room phone didn't work (tried using that first to call the desk). I would not stay here again solely on the lack of oversight of the property. They have cameras but clearly they need to walk the property overnight. The way the building is, the wing furthest from the office is so far away, the can't see or hear anything that's going on.

Only picking 1 star because 0 isn't an option. Absolutely disgusting. Black mold in the bathroom, didn't even check the rest of the room after seeing it- walked straight back to the desk after 3 minutes in that room asking for a refund. Which is a joke. Guy at the desk told me to call our booking party. Called standing right in front of him. 2 months later we had to file a dispute with the CC company because the manager is also a joke and refused to do anything. Was even told by Wyndham corporate office it needed to be refunded through the property manager. As manager I would be embarrassed of how that room looks and how the situation was handled but clearly she doesn't care. Unbelievably unprofessional. Save yourself the nightmare and just stay somewhere else. I mean unless of course you want your money essentially stolen and to be sick from the mold and God knows whatever else is in there.

The rooms were dirty. The upholstery on the chairs was disgusting, wasn't dusted or vacuumed, mirrors were so streaked you could hardly see, the bathrooms were by far the grossest thing i've ever seen--I went and bought clorox wipes and wiped everything down. Towels had spot on them so I purchased my own towel. Won't ever go back!

Room is dirty, smells bad, the refrigerator doesn’t work, no microwave, the A/C barely works, barely any light in the room, doors keep slamming outside. The entrance doesn’t lock. They also charged a $150 deposit. Do not recommend staying here.

I would not recommend the property in any way. I made the error of booking through a third-party (Expedia) and when I expressed my concerns about safety, I was told by property owner they would not issue a refund even though I was far too uncomfortable to stay at the property. I thought a Days Inn would be a decent option near where I needed to do work but was dismayed by the property's condition. I've stayed in many places here and other countries. I've never walked out on one until this time. The condition, smells, and vibe raised my hackles. I felt unsafe. I've never had that feeling before.

Well....you get what you pay for, especially if its 2 in the morning and nothing else is available. Not going to lie, the whole place is sketchy. The outside is a dump and very unappealing. The stairs leading to the 2nd floor were carpeted and stained. Our actual room was clean and ok (so we thought). The bathroom looked updated and had no issues. The ac unit looked like it's been here since the late 60s and didn't cool the room at all. My father-in-law stayed in the room next to us and checked out before us. I legit watched "housekeeping" (looked like a husband and wife duo), go in after he left, swept, and that was it! Didn't see anything come out in their cart, so I'm guessing they only made the bed without changing the bedding. They were in there, no more than 5 mins. So I doubt anything was disinfected or wiped down....not even the toilet. After seeing that, we checked out. Lord only knows if that's how our room was cleaned before we checked in.

Entrances weren't shoveled, and 2 guys say behind the front desk. Don't advertise free hot breakfast. Oatmeal and breakfast bars with coffee is not hot breakfast.

  • 1/5 Leanne L. 1 year ago on Google
If I could give less than a 1, I would. Sheets smelled as though they had been used. The shower was dirty as was the toilet. The free breakfast available was one kind of granola bar and coffee. I will never recommend nor stay here again. It was disgusting.

The shower had the previous persons hair in it. The door to the room had at least a two inch gap at the bottom for anything to crawl under. There was nowhere to hang or put your clothes on. They advertised breakfast but there was none. There's no pool but advertised! These were remodeled rooms! Very big disappointment for 94.00 a night! We had six room; we will not be back!

It didn't even check in. First if you want to just check in before 3pm expect to pay 25.00. Also, they require a 150.00 deposit and you have to prepay for your stay at check in. None of this on the website. I would not recommend this place.

The room was clean and comfortable. I had a pleasant stay there and the location was perfect for me.

We had a very nice stay here. It was a last-minute find and we were very comfortable. The beds were soft, the shower pressure was nice, the linens were clean, and we felt safe. We recommend this hotel if in the area as some others we drove past and viewed online seemed to be a bit rough.

The place is truly a dump, stains, smells, mold and everything you can think of. The area feels insecure and it's better to sleep on your car than stay there. The so called " breakfast" is granola bars, day old donuts and coffee, that's it. Do yourself a favor and don't stay here.

You can hear through the walls. The coughing and hacking. Awful. Someone tapping a stick on the floor all night. 4a to 630. You can hear everything but the street. Bring your own sani- wipes. Dried lubricant on the nightstand. No bed bugs. Yay!
