Definitely it is best place for Buffet in Milwaukee But don’t ever go on weekdays my review is for weekdays. On weekends they have fresh food and lot of food items in menu. Definitely worth of price. Never ever go on weekdays they just re-heat the food. They keep stale food. So try to avoid this restaurant on weekdays. Not a lot of options and not worth of price.

This restaurant has a very well appointed dining room with ample seating. The lunch buffet is top-notch. They bring baskets of fresh naan right to the table.

I came in to eat dinner after a long day. The service was impeccable and everyone down to the music playing helped turn my mood around. After getting a full belly of delicious food plus an entree that was suggested by my server, that I thoroughly enjoyed! Great experience, great flavors. I could have went hot instead of medium. Would definitely come back.

My favorite Indian food in this area! I order delivery waaaay too often (typing this while waiting for a delivery, lol), but I just tried dining in for the first time a couple days ago and I love this place even more now! The portions are great value the food is always perfect, I've never been disappointed. I also love the huge variety of clearly marked vegan options. I tried the lunch buffet and was super pleased with the array of choices and loved the opportunity to try new items without spending much. Every employee we interacted with was incredibly kind and attentive. The restaurant itself is really beautiful with sparkly chandeliers and cozy, private booths. I love this place and can't wait to dine in more often and continue exploring the menu!

Went to India Garden for lunch with a friend. We were promptly seated and directed to the buffet. On my first plate I had Gobi Manchurian, Butter Chicken and Goat Curry along with some bahtoora (fried bread). The waitress brought us a basket of fresh naan. The Manchurian was tasty but not the best I’ve had, 3/5 - butter chicken was a 4/5 and the goat curry was a 3/5. Bahtoora was a little dried out since it’s a buffet 3/5 When I went back up I tried a couple other dishes that I cannot remember the names of but one of them was delicious 5/5 The dessert bar had some little pastry dumplings that tasted like bread pudding and also had homemade ice cream, dessert bar was 5/5 One thing I noticed that came into play later - when they refilled the buffet they would just dump the new fresh dishes atop the old stuff. Probably not a huge deal since the place was packed and things cycled through but it stands to reason that old stuff stays out. Flash forward a day and my stomach had some issues. I wouldn’t say food poisoning but lets say I didn’t have any problem using the bathroom. That’s usually not a problem for me with ethnic food as I eat lots of it. If I were grading solely on the food/buffet without considering that last point I’d give it a soft 4/5 but considering the food safety issues, I’d give it a 3/5

A premium quality Indian cuisine at Tosa area. Plenty of dishes to choose from, food tastes good, clean and cozy environment as well as friendly stuff. We went to have dinner we enjoyed thoroughly.

The food here is spectacular. I'm visiting from Dallas and I have to put this one on top of all the Indian joints I've been to. The tomato soup and spicy potatoes are so darn yummy. The service is super. Great job

The food is amazing! The service is phenomenal, though I do need to add a disclaimer that I did an order for carryout. That's why I did not rank the atmosphere. Everything was ready when they said it would be ready. The staff was very friendly, and I was literally in and out. The food was still hot when I got home, and it was delicious! The Pandora chicken I had was very tender and flavorful throughout. The buttered naan was very tasty. Overall I highly recommend you check this spot out if you're looking for Indian cuisine.

I can’t begin to say how happy I am with this restaurant. The food was excellent and the service went far beyond what is expected. I highly recommend the Butter Chicken and the Garlic and Cheese Naan. Can’t wait to go again!

All the food was excellent - hot, tasty, good portions, attentive and charming service. Had an appetizer sampler (shown) and a sampler dinner for two, which included choice of dessert. We had the fruiti tutti (shown), which was beautiful and delicious. A+ all the way around!

India Garden is a wonderful place! The food is amazing and the drink selection is plentiful. But the best part is the atmosphere. You'll feel like you are first class because the staff treats you like royalty. I'd highly recommend eating here for an affordable, high-quality, top-notch dining experience.

Update October 2019 - This is bothering me to the point where I need to say something...Service. It’s bad. Not in the way expected...it’s not slow, they don’t ignore us, they overdo it to the point where I no longer want to dine in. Every time I’ve come here, they force us to take extra plates we don’t want. They won’t let us pack our own leftovers. They refill our waters even though we ask them not to. Some manager type comes and harasses us when we say no, then scolds our server for trying to grant our request. Unacceptable. I will not eat here as a dine in customer again. Previous review- This place is so awesome! Really really loved it here. A new favorite. Soooo many vegan options. The food was seriously amazing. We raved about it and left very full. The server worked his butt off and even gave us a free tea for two. LOVE THIS PLACE!

Clean buffet with friendly service. It’s a straight to the point meal, they offer several Indian dishes with warm garlic naan bread that just seemed to disappear the minute it hits the table. The flavors are authentic, you can smell the curry from a block away. It’s worth a try, and I can be honest I’m not a fan of buffets but this one I wouldn’t mind going back too.

India Garden is just wonderful. The atmosphere is vibrant, and noisy with friends and family groups enjoying the moments of being with each other. So much conversation and laughter. No phones out (except me snapping pics of my food). A wonderful community of people. Our server was sweet and very attentive. She refilled our water glasses without being asked, cleared dishes as they were emptied, asked if we wanted other beverage refills, and made sure we were enjoying our lunch. They process credit cards right at the table instead of walking away with your card. Love that. The food is just amazing. They have a lunch buffet, which my three friends all opted to try. One of the photos is of one plate with a mass variety of the items selected from the buffet. I don't eat a lot so buffets are not a financially wise choice. I ordered off the menu and chose to start with Garlic and Cheese Naan, and then had the Tandoori Chicken which is served with Basmati Rice. SO good! I had never had Tandoori before so I didn't know it was served on a sizzling platter with peppers and onions. As always, way too much to consume in one sitting so I have two more meals in my fridge. I definitely recommend for authentic Indian food. You won't be disappointed.

Never had Indian food before my time here. It was absolutely delicious! That staff was so nice and even brought ice cream for my wife's birthday. I will be back. Ate the leftovers for breakfast cause I loved it so much. Ver reasonable pricing too. Great place!

We've been getting curbside takeout here all summer and there's still plenty to explore on their extensive menu. Everything has been delicious, with a distinctly made-from-scratch character. In other words, this is not one of those Indian restaurants where they only have two or three sauces that go on everything on the menu. Last night we had Shrimp Khadai, which had a very complex tomato-based sauce, grilled bell peppers and onions, and a generous amount of tail-on shrimp. Also Chicken Tikka Saag, with tandoori chicken chunks nestled in a buttery mix of pureed spinach and onions. To get a curbside pickup, just place your order and payment with a phone call. Check your GPS when going there the first time, it's tucked around the corner from Burleigh, the closest busy street, and turning in the right place is a bit tricky.

Had the lunch buffet today. Everything was really fabulous! Clean environment. They were constantly refilling the buffet. Great flavors in the food & fresh! Service was very attentive. We almost missed the dessert table as it was by the bar area, so glad we didn’t! The mango ice cream & Gulab jamun (doughnuts) were a great way to finish the meal! Will definitely be back & recommend to others!

Great place to eat lunch buffet. Everything is on point except for taste. Taste isnt authentic. Reason why is because theres not enough spices. Goat curry doesnt have the spices it needs. Im not Indian so I dont know much, but I have eaten at many india restaurants and they taste way better.

First eating here with my family. Was looking for something different to eat on a Sunday and found this place. Pretty good food along with some bland items as well. Clean friendly establishment. Paid 95$ for a group of five.

I went here for the lunch buffet during the week. The dining room was fairly full. The service was great. I drink a lot of water, they kept my glass full. The buffet was kept clean and food refreshed regularly. Most of the food on the buffet was delicious, some spicy, some not. I loved a spicy potato dish they had, but didn't love the Chicken Tikka. Naan is included with the buffet and brought fresh to your table. Make sure not to miss the dessert buffet, which is sort of hidden behind the bar. Many tasty sweets.

The Butter chicken is my absolute favorite with garlic naan. Also absolutely love the buffet so I can try more new things! Great service very fast. Buffet is the most reasonably priced.

We ate here recently for the first time. I would highly recommend it. The portions were generous and the food was delicious. We had it delivered and it was still very hot when it arrived. We'll be back soon!

Ever with this quarantine B.S. the service and food at India Garden was 10/10 Top Notch. Calling in an order was a breeze and extremely efficient and easy. The staff is excellent at placing and taking orders. I wish I had the ability to sit down and experience the staff and food but you know...quarantine. When we got home and opened our food, it was packaged extremely well and smelled fantastic. This is hands down one of the best ethnic restaurants in the greater Milwaukee area. We were extremely impressed with this food and the service that we will be lifelong customers, no matter how long this quarantine lasts. Thanks a bunch India Garden!!!!

Delicious! $$$ VERY $$$ Expensive thus 2 Stars - almost twice the price as others - yet only Indian Restaurant in MKE during COVID $19 for Naan w/Chicken Curry & Rice?

TLDR: Order showed up an HOUR early. Food was good, sauces were flavorful but a bit watery. Incredibly small portion for a $16-18 entree. Based on the inconsideration of a set delivery time and extremely small portions, we will not order again. Ordered delivery at 4:45pm online. Was informed that the delivery time was 6:15pm, which was perfect because we know how busy Friday night takeout anywhere is, which is why we ordered early so we could continue our outdoor project. Food arrived at 5:15pm, and the driver apologized for it being so early. So it sat on our counter until we could tie up the loose ends in the yard because we didn't expect it to show up an HOUR EARLY. We opened our $60 purchase to find three small containers, 16 oz each, which were half filled with sauce. There are no sizes listed on their website when you order, and frankly, if I'm paying $16-18 and upwards per entree I'd think it would have been a quart size container. I was wrong.

Today I ordered carry out for myself-- I got onion potato naan, samosas, chicken tikka masala, kadhai chicken, and shahi paneer. I really enjoyed the samosas from here! I like that the filling is well-mixed, so every bite is equally flavored. I ordered the two chicken curries as medium spice since I was not sure what the spice levels would be like here. I will be making one of them hot next time because I found myself craving for more spice this time around. Everything was well-packaged into a brown bag and then a plastic bag outside. The containers were clean on the outside, no curry drips on the side!

We ordered a delivery today it was fast, we asked for contactless delivery and they did leave food at our door and ring my bell, chicken tikka masala was sooo good love it , ? they packed very well, nice and clean everything , I recommend to everyone, you should try this restaurant not forget to try chicken tikka masala

(Takeout order) Since I moved back to Milwaukee, I have been looking for a place with great Indian Cuisine and I am glad I tried India Garden. Fair prices and of course the yummy food. Staff was welcoming upon my arrival to pick up my food. I'm excited to enjoy the food again sometime, hopefully a chance to dine in as well. I would have taken pictures but I ate it all.

We have been ordering from India Garden but the quality last night was really bad. I am really disappointed. Nans were burnt from one side and not cooked from the other. Gravy was just water with no taste. Hope they improve back soon

Quaint restaurant, hidden but worth while. Food was good. Gluten free options along with vegetarian options available and labeled. Nice authentic desserts and a very surprisingly flavorful salad. Noticed that the restaurant was actively being cleaned throughout my visit. Twice naan bread was brought out to me and my drink was kept full. Food served steaming hot. Tops kept on items that may end up dry without it. Nice private booths available. And the price for all you can eat was $12 tax included.

Have been to their buffet, and dinner, and have ordered delivery from this restaurant multiple times. The food is great, the employees are great, the restaurant decor is great, everything is great about Indian Garden. One of my favorite places to eat. Highly recommend. If you haven’t tried Indian food before, I highly suggest trying out their buffet when you get the chance. Otherwise my top fav is their chicken tikka masala with naan bread.
