Excellent neighborhood place, one of my favorite places to go to! My favorites are the Coconut Lavender Latte, their beef empanadas and their Cuban sandwich but everything on their menu tastes delicious and is freshly prepared! The sandwiches are so good, tamales on the weekends are fire. Excellent food. Friendly service. Beautifully design, relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommend this place.

The friendly staff and the cozy interior design at this cafe create a warm and inviting atmosphere. The chorizo and avocado toast is delicious! 10/10! Additionally, I enjoy exploring their seasonal drink menu, as my favorite beverages vary with the changes. Cafe tasa is undoubtedly the best addition to our neighborhood in recent years, and I frequently visit with friends and family. This small business has my support!

Latina-owned, in-house-roastery and café in Humboldt Park! A minimalist aesthetic with friendly baristas. Plentiful seating a plus! I got a dirty chai latte and a beef empanada… the dirty chai was good, and the empanada was *chef’s kiss*. Crunchy and hot and very well-spiced perfection… I’ll definitely be back!

Everything is so delicious! Horchata cold brew is a star, coconut lavender latte very good as well. Really beautiful interior. I heard the benches and tables were custom made by Latinx workers too - so cool. Staff is so helpful and super friendly. Very happy to have them here :)

Great Atmosphere and amazing drinks + food. Heavily Recommend the egg ham and cheese sandwich and going on weekends for some awesome tamales! They also have a seasonal drink menu to try out. Please be patient as it is a small place but overall you know it’s a good sign since I keep going back weekly.

Great coffee, friendly owners and a beautiful space! I was so thrilled to see this cafe open up in my neighborhood and have stopped in three times now in the last week because their coffee is great, and the vibe... impeccable! I've tried their cold brew and the iced latte (both excellent). The Cuban sandwich is delicious and comes out hot and toasty from the kitchen. They also have beans for sale by the bag. It's bright and airy inside with tables perfect for a quick lunch or getting some work done, and the owner is so sweet and friendly. I really look forward to stopping in every few days and being a regular!

I absolutely loved Tasa! A big group of my friends met there for brunch, and they had more than enough space for all of us and the other people who came in while we were there. The space is airy, clean, and lovely. All of the employees I encountered there were also so nice. It’s not the cheapest cup of coffee in Chicago, but the quality, atmosphere, and service made it worth my money. My cappuccino with sugar and oat milk was delicious (not too sweet, it was just right!), and I really liked the ham and cheese empanada I had too. A couple of my friends got the chorizo avocado toast and said it was really good as well. Big fan of this place and will definitely be back when I’m on that side of town.

Update: I just had the best beef empanada ever. Please come here. Super cute Latina- owned cafe that just opened a week and a half ago. Very friendly service! Their beignets came out hot and soft, dusted in powdered sugar. I just hope they add decaf coffee options.

Indulge your senses with the Horchata Latte - a rich, flavorful, and strong coffee that will leave you craving more. Finally, a coffee shop that offers everything you need - good food, great coffee, and ample space to relax. I highly recommend the Cuban Sandwich paired with the Horchata Latte. And if you're in a hurry, grab a coconut lavender coffee to-go. Trust me, you won't regret it. Come and experience the perfect coffee shop ambiance today - you'll thank me later.

This has been a coffee shop I been wanting to visit. Just last week, was around the area and decided to have a cup of coffee. First impression entering TASA was amazing. The atmosphere was earthy. It is decorated in a calming tones (greenery, wood chairs and tables, light shelves). It was very calming and welcoming. I was greeted by two amazing young ladies. I requested recommendations on which drink to have. I tried the Horchata Cold Brew and my guest tried a cappuccino. The Horchata Cold Brew was amazing with perfect balanced taste. I also ordered the Cuban sandwich and the Chorizo Avocado Toast with an egg on top. The Chorizo was very tasty and had great flavors with the egg on top. The Cuban sandwich had all the expected meat slow roasted pork, smoked ham, Swiss cheese (melted) mustard and pickles. It had great flavors and taste wonderful. I saw people enjoying working on there computer while enjoying a cup if coffee. I was satisfied and happy when leaving this oasis. If you haven’t tried it, you need to come and experience it personally.

Tasa is so good! The aesthetic is so clean and beautiful and they have the small room in the back where they roast their own coffee beans. It’s a nice truck from me but it’s worth it on a weekend afternoon. I had a chai and asked them to add coconut to it - DELISH!! I also tried the chorizo avocado toast. Whew, it’s too damn good. So much so I went 2 weeks in a row. The bread is so fresh with the perfect crisp; not too hard but not too soft. They give you cheese to sprinkle on top and you can add an egg if you’d like. My husband tried the beef empanadas and enjoyed them as well. This woman/family owned biz is worth a try.

I CANNOT SAY THIS ENOUGH!!! I AM OBSESSED!!! I have tried so many different things in the menu and still have yet to find something I don’t ABSOLUTELY LOVE about this place! The empanadas are so light and filling at the same time. The Cuban Sandwich is juicy and flavorful and holds up when ordering delivery! I grub hub them at least twice a week at the office and visit in person on the weekends when I can! The banana bread is sooo moist and just melts in your mouth! The coffee is amazing and I always take home fresh beans to enjoy at home! The vibe of the cafe is so welcoming and IG worthy to say the least! They stay on trend rotating different drinks through the holidays and always leaves you wondering what they’ll have next month! I love to support a Latina owned business but just take my money already sis!! THIS IS A MUST TRY WHEN IN CHICAGO!

As you walk in the aesthetic is modern and clean. Everyone was very welcoming. Great place to sit and relax with a good cup of coffee. Was excited to try the Coconut Lavender Latte, it did not disappoint. The beignets were fluffy and hot. They have homemade tamales on the weekend, had to take some home to try. Will definitely be coming back on a regular. Can’t wait to try other items on their menu.

This was my first time ordering from Tasa. I ordered the Coconut Lavender Iced latte, after the first sip, my I say I was in Heaven. Amazingly good. Egg, ham and cheese sandwich was fresh and tasty. However, I am hooked on this Latte.. Thanks for the cute note on my Delivery Bag. I will definitely recommend this establishment to others. We need to Support our local businesses. I was very impressed.

Delicious coffee and food. The tamales and chorizo avocado toast are the best things I've eaten in a long time. Also, the owner is an awesome Latina chef that does a lot for the community. I'm here for all of this goodness!!

I was there couple days ago, ordered a cappuccino. The order took a long time. Cappuccino is not tasty, they use cheap beans or experiment with roasting. The cafe has a roaster, good equipment, nice interior. There is a decent kitchen with popular small plates.

I stopped in for an afternoon coffee and the atmosphere was great! It’s great knowing they roast their own coffee beans right in house! Will have to try some of the food items next time.
