I have never, in my life, been greeted with as much hospitality and kindness at any restaurant as this place. The person, who I am assuming is the owner, took time to explain everything they had, and how certain things paired best with what I selected. Always go with the chef's recommendations, you can never go wrong! Would literally go out of my way and fight through traffic just to eat here. Also, they gave out fresh fries and dipping sauce for free. 18$ in total for fresh, clean food. Can't be beat.

I decided to try something new. Got to say very different from what I’m use to. Flavorful, interesting, tasty and filling. If you are looking for something different to try ,come here. They make the food fresh for each customer. I had the falafel, traditional gyro, baklava and ginger mint lemonade. Each item had a unique flavor and taste. I highly recommend. Great job! I am absolutely blown away by the meal I just had! I kept seeing great reviews for Amba but just never made it before today and this will not be my last visit. Husband had a gyro that was absolutely loaded with meat. I had the bowl with perfectly cooked rice, fresh humus and veggies and delicious chicken! The baklava was flaky gooey perfection. I’m can’t wait to try their fries because they smelled Devine! Hands down 10/10

Truly THE best “fast food”/restaurant you can visit locally! I recommended the hummus plus pita chips combo to many people and they have fallen in love with it. Hummus with chicken (healthy fats and protein) for only $8.50? Yes please! They have a deliciously refreshing ginger mint lemonade drink too. Their bowl option is like Chick Fil A style but significantly healthier and with better vegetable options. Trying to control your blood sugar levels? Trying to eat healthier but still enjoy your food? THIS is your place to go. Last but not least, the group of brothers who own the restaurant are some of the most *genuinely* kind hearted people I have met. You will see what I mean when you go in. It’s worth spending your money here. Only like fries? Try their fries with a spin - feta cheese amongst other goodness. Want something refreshing to drink? Skip the Starbucks and get their ginger mint lemonade. The food options are unlimited.

This is a great local spot for Mediterranean food. I got the steak shawarma salad and it was excellent. All the veggies were super fresh and the babaganoush was excellent. The steak shawarma was very tender. I'd highly recommend this place if you are in the mood.

This place was so good. The service was excellent. The falafel was gluten-free. The fries were amazing loved the seasoning on them. This is a must try if you are in the area. They also have vegan options and you get so much food for the price.

The best customer service, food and vibe in Joliet as far as I'm concerned. The food is always top notch, my orders are always correct and consistent, the lemonade is to die for, and the staff genuinely seem to enjoy their jobs. If you don't like Mediterranean, come try the gyro here. It'll change your mind. :)

This place is absolutely amazing! Everything is just delicious! I come here or try to at least, every week. I love supporting local businesses and this place is a gem! Best falafels ever! Fresh fries are made to order, fresh ingredients, and even the staff serve you with a smile on their face! Absolutely can’t say anything bad about this place! Purely fantastic!

This place blew me away. I got a chicken shawarma bowl, and it was absolutely amazing. I have personally never had Mediterranean food, and was frankly a bit worried, but my bowl was delicious. Not only this, but the service was impeccable. They helped with everything, and when we ordered fries the person at the register told the worker building our order to give us lots of fries so the whole family could try them. And, when I was asking what the difference was between the chicken, he gave me a few pieces as samples to try them. Great experience. If your looking to try something new and healthy, as well as bless your taste buds, I highly recommend.

I don't think there are words to explain how delicious this food is. Was looking for a gyro place in the area and decided to try this one out. Got a bowl and was super pleasantly surprised. There is so much food in that one dish and it is crazy delicious. You choose yoir base (rice, pilaf, mixed salad or a mix of any of them), choose your protein, choose 5 side ingredients and then a sauce. The employees were super patient, friendly and just amazing people. Definitely will come back and definitely recommend

This food is exactly what I was hoping it would be!!! Sorry for the already eaten food in the picture. I couldn’t wait to try it. I got a Bowl & it was DELICIOUS!!!! I haven’t had Falafel‘s in yrs. Everything was fresh && the perfect amount of season. The workers are very pleasant && polite. Very patient and helpful as this was my first visit. I will definitely be coming back to eat here again!!!! Wish I’d stop by sooner.

Forks down the best mediterranean food place. Unique flavors, fresh ingredients, and limitless combinations. I've had a bowl and came back the next day for another one. Also, brought a friend and he enjoyed his bowl so much he now wants to bring his friends.

Great food! I've been looking for a decent gyro place near by and I'm finally happy to share that this is the joint! Food was great. I'm a sucker for feta cheese so if you share my obsession I cannot recommend the Mediterranean fries enough. Get them with a side of the gyro sauce and you can thank me later ;)

First visit today. I was pleasantly surprised by the great customer service experience. I must have looked confused and they not only helped me choose, but were very patient. I was even given complimentary falafel, which were the best I've had. It's pricey but worth it. Food is delicious.
