Worst place and worst service I've ever seen. The staff and the owner of this company simply do not consider you a person, they do not respect you and just want your money. The equipment and technology are all old, the classroom for classes is very small that sometimes people had nowhere to sit and they stood leaning against the wall. Please note that all their good reviews do not have likes, but all their bad reviews gather a ton of support! I came to this school in July 2023. I asked how quickly I could get my cdl and was told that it would not take more than 2 months. I was glad about this and left my job and started studying closely. After a month and a half I was ready, but they started to interfere with me. All the time I had to wait a very long time for the appointment for the exam inside the school, and for the exam for the DMV I had to wait almost two months. You can only use the driving simulator for one hour per day and only when assigned to you. And you cannot move to another stage until you complete the previous one. When 3 months passed I couldn't pay my rent bill and I lost my house. I was living in my car and I told them about it and asked them to schedule the exam as soon as possible so that I could go to work, but they didn't schedule it until a month later. When I had my exam, the inspector for some reason failed me and several other people, although I told him the pre-trip inspection exactly word for word as in their guide. Then I wanted to return the money back and I had to call the police, since even their boss did not want to talk to me. After the police at their office, their boss called me and said that they would no longer do business with me and would not return my money since I had completed the full training course. I was indignant and argued with him! He had the audacity to recommend that I go to a psychiatrist and that it was not his problem that I had lost my home. Then he ordered me not to call them at school anymore and that he would contact me himself when he thought about it. As a result, I never received my CDL at this school!

The owner Art is the biggest POS liar on the face of this earth! Do not believe a word out of his mouth! This place should be shut down by the State of Illinois. I have proof and text messages of all of the deceit! Why would you want to associate yourself with a person like this? Waiting for their reply, so I can post pictures and proof. Don't waste your time! Please move on to a company more reputable!

The experience at Alpha was amazing, great instructors like Salvador, 5 start for him! for all of you Latinos, he is absolutely a great guy and yes, Habla español!!!! Gracias Salvador for all your patience you are the best!!! 😉 Lucas is awesome, thanks Lucas for give me all the confidence I need. Lucas noticed that I was way too nervous and he take the time to speak with me and assure that I felt calm. Thanks!!!! I highly recommend this school!

Greatly appreciate everything these amazing group of instructors did for me for continuing to push even when I wanted to just give up. I would recommend this school to everyone as it is definitely one of the best school around. Truly a great experience and opportunity.

Santiago, mattew and Lucas where good instructors I very much appreciate it… they are great instructors… the driving school great all together… yall need to definitely check them out u won’t b disappointed…

The first time I saw this yard instructor, he was walking past me smiling. We hadn't met yet but there he was on a crisp January day. Why he was looking at me like that I'll never know, but whatever it was creepy. I needed improvement with driving and discipline after 4 years of safe driving at Amazon and now FedEx, shlepping packages half my weight because I wasted my time here. Either that or he wasn't able to show me simple straight backing. After 3 and a half hours of me chasing the trailer at 5 mph, he stopped me. He said line it up so the vehicle is right up against the passenger line/cones. So I did and I was finally able to back up straight consistently. So I had only 1/2 hour practice for straight backing THE WAY YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO. This guy turned me off to a whole industry. I'd rather be stuck at the office than deal with that on top of risking my life out on the road. I wasn't blitzing toward cheerleaders but I feel I've been misjudged. After only 2 days driving on the lot, I was told the equivalent of get out of here. He said other students don't have this much trouble learning compared to me. That's what he told me even though I did only 2 days of skills hours. Which would be fine if they hadn't charged me like I was overstaying my welcome at a Swiss ski lodge. Up high, yeah me with all my cronies and endless heathens. What would you do when you're trying to keep a straight head and you're watching other students do alley dock and parallel park maneuvers? Would you bear the burden or think they couldn't even show me basic straight backing so how are they going to show me this? It's a two-way street, not one-way only.

First, I would like to give a huge thank you to all instructors classroom & yard for your guidance but most importantly patience. I’ve done a lot of research regarding trucking schools and I can honestly say I picked the right school. Alpha Truck Driving School provides you with good instructions that will give you a good foundation for your truck driving career. From the wonderful/helpful ladies in the office to all instructors in the classroom/yard thank you for everything!

The teacher at this school are very hard on their student, it’s because they expect the best from every student. There may be lots of yelling but the instruction are always 100% accurate. They taught me many valuable lesson and I appreciate the hard work they push me through. It was all worth it to be able to pass everything on the first try. THANK YOU ALPHA!

Honestly best career choice I’ve done. Instructors both in the classroom and in the yard were helpful. Yeah they can be precise and sometimes give you a word or two and make you feel bad but they’re preparing you for success and not failure when it comes to the DMV exam. Hands down thanks to Chris, Lukas, John and Art for giving me the best tips and education.

From start to finish it was an A-1 experience. The instructors in the classroom Chris and Jerry are great and help you with the knowledge you will need to succeed. The ladies in the office are on their game, they really go above and beyond for you. Instructors at the yard are top notch, they teach you how to drive correctly. They show you how to be safe and efficient. Shoutout to Lukas, John, and Art for helping me in my journey.

Great school I got my CDL thanks to all the instructors and staff at alpha truck driving school. They will push you to do your best and you will succeed. I had a great time in class and on the driving simulator really helped me understand the way the Truck handles and shifts. Big shout out to all the instructors and girls in the office

I would highly recommend Alpha driving school if you’re looking to further your career. I went for an upgrade, I was able to work around my work schedule and go to class when it was able to. The instructors are very helpful from the classroom to the yard.

I had a great learning experience from my instructors. 2 people I want to mention is Lucas and Dan. I had Lucas the majority of the time and he was patient and an excellent teacher. I also had Dan as one of my instructors and he was a great teacher as well.

Alpha is a great school. Dan is a great and patient over the road instructor. Santiago is very helpful with small corrections and changes. Lucas is very reassuring and helpful on the test day.
