I understand lines. They can be long, but can be managed with the correct teamwork. This place? No teamwork. One man is working the line that is going out the door. With 6 staff in total, I would expect a half of them working on take out and misc tasks and the other half to deal with the line. However I had the disfortunate pleasure of watching one man work this line. Give this man a raise, get him assistant manager title or something. Shout out to you (John?), because of you I might be able to eat before a wedding ceremony today.

Ordered a salad using the mobile app and it arrived one hour late. My order was wrong and there was a CRICKET in my salad. I am incredibly disgusted at the moment.

1. This restaurant has left the best impression! Delicious dishes, beautiful presentation and healthy, natural food! I recommend to everyone! I will come back here again and again, and am delighted sweetgreen is finally in the suburbs of Chicago! Also, management and staff are extremely knowledgeable and make great recommendations. They know what they’re doing and what they’re talking about, and you can tell making the customers happy is their main priority. What a great addition to Oakbrook!

Thave no words to say at this moment. This location keeps getting my order wrong, at this point i have a feeling they do it on purpose. A couple days ago i ordered online and got it delivered to me. After a long day at work expecting to eat my food in peace i saw that they forgot many ingredients. Today i got it ordered online and got it delivered and to my luck once again missing ingredients. I haven't eaten all day due to being at a family's funeral and this happens. This is so upsetting. Not to mention the location is very slow as well. Do better Oakbrook.

Honestly sweet green is way better than chipotle! The portions are substantial and I always feel amazing after eating there. The rosemary focaccia is the perfect addition to any meal.

Tried this place today and it was surprisingly good! Ordered the hot chicken plate but asked for it in a bowl (yes, I'm extra) so I could mix everything together. Overall, good food and fresh ingredients!

I'm loving this place since I discovered it w/ my friend. I got the Super Green Salad Bowl (or somn like that 😅 idk the names yet) & it was honestly delicious! I can't wait to try something new there! My only complaint is that it seems they are shortstaffed so sometimes the line takes a little long. That's not the employees fault tho so I won't mark em down for that.

A good spot to pick up a quick and healthy meal. It's a bit pricey for what you are getting, but it's generally worth it for the quality and the convenience.

UPDATED: this place gave me food poisoning and the service is terrible! Avoid at all costs! This place is delicious for a simple and healthy lunch. The ingredients are always fresh and the dressing here is amazing. I would buy the jalapeño vinaigrette by the bottle. The chicken is also delicious. I will say the portions are small for the price and there is always one person working there regardless of how busy it is. Sometimes the lines can be over 30 minutes long which is an inconvenience when you’re on the go. But other than that, this place is delicious and hearty. I especially recommend the sweet potato bowl!

This was my first time ordering from here, I was excited to try it! I’m vegan so I ordered tofu in my salad bowl and ended up biting into a piece of chicken. I tried eating the rest of my meal still but then I found a hair mixed in there and I just gave up on it. I don’t think I’ll be ordering from here again. Pretty disappointed

Never thought so many combos would taste good. I'd eat here every day if I could afford it and lived nearby. This is a harvest bowl that was mixed up.

Great place to stop by for lunch ! Went there the other day and and nice and clean environment, wonderful staff, quick wait time and delicious food . Can’t wait to stop by soon again .

I was so excited about this suburban location! It has been such a disappointment both times. First time, we were the only ones there and they didn’t even acknowledge us for a few minutes. Proceeded to make my salad and then tell they didn’t have the dressing for it and forgot our bread. The second time they had so many workers yet it took me over 20 minutes to get a salad due to lack organization. This place is very poorly run and managed unfortunately.

This place is awesome!! I work right around the corner so go here all the time. People are always super nice and salads are always phenomenal! Bury me in a big bowl of Kale Caesar salad! 10/10!!!

This place is not only good but has a friendly staff. Stephanie prepared our bowls and despite it being busy, was still personable. The restaurant was clean and everyone was working. Definitely a good change compared to other restaurants in the area.

I will never eat here again. This is the kind of place that presents itself as a healthy option, but all that means is they overcharge for small portions. Also all the food sits out on a buffet bar so it's not even fresh. The employees working act like they are severely inconvenienced when you come in. The only reason I went was because I had a reward, order a protein plate and get 30% off next order. Ordered the salmon plate. When ordering it told me out of avocado, pick something else. No problem- dropped some sweet potatoes on the order. Wouldn't you know they charged me extra. No problem I thought, I'm sure I can contact customer service to have it refunded. Went in to pick up order, said "Hi.. Thanks!". Didn't even get an acknowledgement from staff. When I finally dug into my bowl, no sweet potatoes, no dressing, basically $17 for a piece of salmon and a couple scoops of rice. Oh yeah, never received the 30% off deal either. Contacted customer service. 4 days no responses.

I bought this salad on 10/25 for $20.46. The salad came with wrong ingredients and the bowl was not even half full. The spinach (which was not listed as an ingredient for the hummus crunch salad) was soggy and black and the cucumbers were soft and translucent. I have asked them at least 6 times for a credit for this and have only received $12 for a salad I had to throw out. They told me I needed to provide the label from the top of the salad as well... Why would I have saved that?? This salad was purchased through their app--- so they have all the information.

This place has great food, customer service was great and they didn't hesitate when asking for extra dressings or sides. They seemed happy to be there and it was a very enjoyable experience ordering. Sitting in the lobby area, it wasn't very clean and the bathroom was horrible and had no soap. If you order here I definitely recommend taking it to go, but the food and people who work there are amazing.

I placed an online order for the crispy rice bowl and went 15 mins out of my ride home to stop here because I used to work in the area and had a craving. I literally received a bowl of just chicken and a ridiculous amount of arugula. I don’t understand how someone could leave out the other 7 ingredients. My mind is blown. I should have checked my order before leaving but I shouldn’t have to. This place is really going downhill.

Delicious and highly customizable bowls and salads. The portions are pretty substantial and I usually leave without for another meal. The ingredients are fresh and makes clean eating easy. When I’m in the area I make I point to stop in!

signed up for the app and have met 2 challenges for additional savings so far. All four orders were super fresh as described and delicious. Their tofu is one of the best I have every had ever from a chain. It is much less expensive to pick up. The warm bowls are my favorite and my hubby enjoyed the chicken pesto parm bowl. I can’t wait to try more of their seasonal menu choices.

I'm usually lenient with my reviews and am forgiving when it comes to service. However, my experience at Sweetgreen Oak Brook on July 3rd left me no choice but to voice my concerns. I arrived just before closing and, unbeknownst to me, they had decided to close early for the holiday. Although there was a barely legible sign to this effect, it was not clearly communicated to the customers inside. I stood in line for approximately 10 minutes, observing the staff hurriedly preparing to close. Throughout this time, no one informed me of the early closure. It was only when other customers walked in that an employee, Yaharie, informed them - and me, by extension - that the store was closing. I felt that this lack of communication warranted speaking to the manager. Initially, I was told the manager, Christie, was on a break, which seemed unusual for closing time. After insisting, Christie did speak with me but was dismissive of my concerns. I didn't get the sense that any improvements would be made based on my feedback. Additionally, I noticed that leftover ingredients were being consolidated for use the next day, which raised questions about the freshness of the food. As I left, I casually informed new customers of the early closure, only to have Christie raise her voice at me for doing so. Overall, this experience showed me that the location could benefit from better communication and customer service. Also, the food quality is questionable. I won't be returning to this Sweetgreen.

Really disappointed with my $20 salad order. They didn't even cut the egg, or the avocado, just threw them in there whole. There are apples and carrots in my salad that clearly got mixed in via cross-contamination, what if I had an allergy? the salad did not contain those ingredients? The lettuce was soggy... for $20?? Don't recommend this location specifically, other Sweet Greens are better.

I work in the mall and often go in to grab lunch. Salads are great especially my fav the hummus one. Whenever I see the short girl with red hair I just know my salad is gone hit even more. 10/10 would recommend! <3

Can’t stop going to this place ! I’m obsessed! I’m getting my revenge body in place! The staff is so nice shout out to my girl Christina or was it Christine? Anyway she was amazing and made the perfect salad! The Chicken chipotle is seasonal so hurry up and get it guy’s… yum yum yum

This place is terrible! I usually give places a chance, and the food is good. But they do not know how to run a business. I ordered in the app which said it would be ready by 12:10. I show up at 12:15 to give them a little wiggle room. When showed up, at least 15 other people were waiting. I didn't get my order until 12:40! I saw another lady open hers to check, so I did the same. I thought the box was a little light. Inside, all kinds of stuff were missing. It was a disaster. I will never, never ever ever ever never, come to Sweet Greens again. Don't waste your money or your time on this place. Horrible!

The taste and presentation is all there, if you love salads I would recommend. At first I had a hard time feeling full but I figure add more protein that solved everything. This place gets me away from day to day restaurants I encounter and no one tosses a salad better than Sweet Green. Taste and descent serving size for the amount of dollar is worth the wait.

Been looking for a good salad place,ever since Sweet Tomatoes closed,I found it with SweetGreen. Had the build your own salad bowl there was several types of lettuce and many vegetables to choose from. I chose grilled chicken as the protein and vinnergrate dressing to top the bowl off.Food was delicious. They get busy here,which is good, because they have a turnover on food. Staff friendly and helpful.Will be returning.

Love sweet green but this location was very slow in preparing the salads. I was in line for 15 min and there were maybe 4 people in front of me. Maybe I came at a bad time but there was only one person working on preparing salads.

Sweetgreens' in general are great. Healthy and tasty food at a great price. A bowl usually lasts me for 2+ meals. Their dill ranch is delicious. I hope they continue expanding so healthy options are accessible in more areas in Chicagoland.

I do not dislike salad but it is not usually in my top five choices of meals. I occasionally order salad with an entree when dining out. That being said, Sweetgreens has converted me. I'm now contemplating full-blown Veganism after my first visit. I did get a protein with my salad but it would have been satisfying without. I am not mentioning my order because you cannot go wrong with anything on the menu. I was with a group and had the opportunity to taste a few different items & all of them were incredible. This is one of those meals that has left me blown away & planning my next visit.

Salad was very good! There was only one girl working on a sunday afternoon, so the service was slow. She was very friendly and did an amazing job. It’s a chipotle style setup where you follow them down the line and they ask you what you would like in your salad. Definitely a good healthy option!

This place has the worst customer service. It is difficult - if not impossible - to find in the mall. Mall security doesn't even know where it is! Calling the business goes to a lengthy, incomprehensible, automated system which never results in speaking to anyone. Until it gets its act together - which it may never do - SWEETGREEN IN OAKBROOK CENTER IS NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL.
