Do yourself a favor -- READ THIS! I had the UNFORTUNATE privilege of NOT meeting the doctor, Dr. Steven Chudik, today on my FIRST visit as a patient. So my response to my family today when asked what did the Dr. say was - I DON'T KNOW HE NEVER SPOKE TO ME. It doesn't matter that you have a gracious, helpful, thorough support staff if you don't have the decency to speak to or thoughtfulness to have ANY interaction with your own patients. I arrived on time and sat in the very small, yet socially distanced lobby. (Cudos for taking my temperature and for the gracious but super focused check-in staff) The facility was bustling and teaming with staff, patients, and all kinds of care specialists. I suppose I should have expected nothing less since I chose this place in part because of its 'one-stop-shop' feature. I was finally greeted and ushered to an exam room by Dr. Chudik's P.A. He proceeded to ask what I at the time believed to be triage or preliminary examination questions and then began to do the physical exam. He, meaning the PA, sent me for an x-ray and explained that they would need my MRI images from a month ago. He came back in to do another examination of my neck and left out of the exam room. The walls in the office are not significantly thick so I could hear the doctor leaving out of the neighboring exam room talking with another patient. I also heard the PA apprising him of his findings and what was going on with my shoulder. The next thing I know the PA enters the room and says we've taken the exam as far as we can without those images. Now...THIS is where the problem begins. If you don't think enough of me as a new patient to come in and say two words -- you certainly don't have the empathy or bedside manner to potentially do surgery on me. The PA attempted to excuse his not entering by saying he told the Dr. he didn't need to come in. However, the doctor made his own decision not to do so. I'm not sure, but I think the PA works for the doctor and not the other way around. I didn't book an appointment with the assistant and I don't know ANY of his qualifications or certifications. So at the least, you could have come in to allow your new patient to see you other than the stock image on the internet. Nonetheless, the PA offered to go get the Dr but at that point it was clear, I wasn't a patient I was a case. No thanks.

I went through 3 surgeries before a friend referred me to Dr Chuddik. He is a great surgeon and also with his therapy protocol I have gotten much better than after last surgeries. I would refer anyone with a shoulder injury to him. All the staff were amazing as well. Definitely treated like a person and not just an account. Through the whole process I also had to see a few other doctors from his practice and they were great as well. The staff I saw the most was the therapists. They were all great. Any concerns and questions were answered right away. They were very professional and personable as well. I would give the therapists a very strong recommendation also.

I have had dislocations on both knees since I was 8 years old. Back in the day there was no treatment to help me other than to be casted, then have physical therapy. Neither which worked. The knee and sports doctors I had in the late 80s early 90s stated there was no surgery they could do at the time other than knee replacements on both legs, which they refused to do bc I was too young. Fast forward to 2018, After over 100 dislocations on each leg, my pain management doctor referred me to Dr. Chudik. I am so blessed to have been referred to him. The pain after his reconstructive surgeries obviously hurt, like they would any surgery for a few days, but it's worth the quality of life I have right now. He is a miracle worker and his staff are beyond great as well. I don't know where I would be right now if I didn't take the referral. I can't say enough good about him. He seriously gave me my life back and I can't thank him, or Meaghan, or the rest of his staff enough. I HIGHLY recommend him and will be forever grateful for him! And for anyone wondering, their bedside manner is nothing short of excellent. Dr Chudik was great and sympathetic and understanding to my case, as was Meaghan, his assistant. They both took the time and worked together to go over my case and consider the best options for me. I have seen many, MANY top notch knee and sports doctors since I was little...I had theCubs doctor, the White Sox doctor, the Bears doctor etc. (Because I had serious knee issues) and Dr. Chudik beat them all and gave me my life back! Yes. I have him on a pedestal because of this!

It has been 1 year since my shoulder surgery (bicep tendon repair) and I am virtually pain free. The rehab was as expected and continuous exercise and strengthening is equally as important as the initial physical therapy. This was my fourth surgery (different areas not the shoulder) and has been by far the most successful. Dr Chudik did a great job every step of the way and I would not hesitate to see him again if needed.

Dr. Chudik did my rotator cuff repair and bicep tenodesis surgery in late November. Today, I am swimming, playing golf and most importantly playing catch with my son. Dr. Chudik and his team are very professional, accomplished and leaders in the field. I was treated with respect each time I entered the office. I followed the plan and I am pretty close to complete recovery at this time. I was referred to Dr. Chudik by a family friend who also happens to be a general surgeon specialist. I am now referring him to you.

I had a great experience with Dr. Chudik. I really loved him. He did a great job on my 2nd surgery. He fixed what the other doctor tried fixed on my 1st surgery. I really love him. Because of him I walk better and feel less pain and do exactly what Dr. Chudik tells me to do. He is so wonderful. When I see him when I get a shot in my knee I will tell him how great he is. I always refer people to him with any knee pain. I will always praise Dr. Chudik.

Dr. Chudik is the BEST orthopedic I have ever seen. He’s quick and good at what he does. The only bad part is the front desk and scheduling. The women are sooooo rude. I came in with my dad for his appointment and at the end I just asked if I was able to do mine real quick usually only takes 5 minutes. The doctor recognized me and said yes not a problem so after that, I went up to schedule my six week follow up, and the lady in the scheduling took it upon herself to walk up to me and said next time you have to call, I told her I did, and they said they didn’t have anything and she replied with well we’re not a walk in clinic so you’re gonna have to follow the rules. Which was very rude. If you ask me by all means the doctor could have said no. Besides that chudik is the best doctor to go to. I’ve recommended him to many people who went to other doctors and said there was nothing wrong. He will take the time and dedication to help his patients

Dr Chudik took care of my son when he injured his knee and has taken care of me for 2 injuries of my own. Most recently I had an ongoing problem that took about a year to resolve, so I have had a lot of experience with him. Appointments are on time, he listened me, and gave clear explanations and instructions. His staff was responsive and helpful, returning emails and phone calls extremely promptly. Highly recommend.

👍👍 Talk about quick and efficient. I was able to make an appointment to be seen and get treated all within an hour. That included driving 15 minutes to the clinic. The doctor explained everything and the staff was efficient and kind. I definitely recommend this location!

😠 Messed up my root canal. Was given a refund and was told they were closing their practice July 2022. Seems to be still open? Also was told they would give a referral to another dr. That would fix my tooth. We’ll never got that referral and now I’m sitting here with half a tooth. Seems like there are...

👍 Honest thoughts... so I read the reviews before going, i agree with everyone. The wait times are horrible for "walk-ins," because their system consist of taking peoples appointments if they don't show up. I got lucky, because i showed up 1 hour before they opened and found a spot, so if you do a wal...
