    I was having a crisis a couple months ago and didn't want to go back to Linden Oaks because of past negative experiences, so I reached out to Compass for help and they went above and beyond. I have been dealing with pretty serious mental health problems and the Compass team was on my side the whole time. Dr. Timchak, Sam, and Alicia were phenomenal and helped me overcome A LOT of mental health hurdles in the 2 months that I was in the PHP/IOP programs. I can't recommend the Compass Complex Anxiety/OCD program highly enough. It's not easy and you do have to be willing to make changes, but it's so worth it to get your life back again! {Like any healthcare place though, do be sure to double check that your insurance will cover it, as without coverage, it could certainly be costly.}

    I can't recommend Compass enough. They were wonderful to work with and made us feel like we weren't alone anymore in dealing with the issues our family has been experiencing. We lived a good 30-min drive one-way away from this location - but the driving was more than worth it.

    My daughter started at compass over a month ago. While at first she was nervous to go, now she is so happy she went. She loved everyone there and has learned so many coping skills. They also have helped so much by placing her on medications that are appropriate for her and truly working for her. Compass is truly a miracle. We specifically want to thank Kevin, Lisa, and all of the group therapists!

    Everyone we dealt with a Compass was fantastic - kind, thoughtful and helpful. The location was nice and easy to access, as well. While the American health insurance system can make mental health care hard to navigate, our experience was only positive here. Thanks for making a hard time a little easier.

    This place truly saved my life. I was suicidal and depressed and truly had given up on life. I could now admit I love myself and am living to be the best version of myself for me. I have so many skills they have taught me that will make my life better. Victoria is probably the best therapist I’ve ever had she’s so awesome and very supportive and kind. I can’t say enough great things about that wonderful woman, she is a great person. I was in a majority of my classes with Arisa and Melanie and those two women were the main reason I can say I love myself due to their sheer kindness and empathy . They were never pressuring or pushy they really cared for everyone and treated us all with respect. Not saying everyone else isn’t fantastic either, everyone here is great I completely recommend and will remember this place forever.

    Compass has an amazing team! I was super impressed how well they all worked together toward my daughter's well being. They never gave up and always worked with my husband and me at our weekly check ins. Love how they transitioned our daughter back to school. They say it takes a village to raise a child, well we were glad Compass was part of our village:)

    I went to Compass to get help with my extreme anxiety due to a hostile work environment. Everyone there was polite, respectful and flexible. The programs (classes) at Compass hit a wide variety of topics and helped me identify which of the many tools for dealing with my anxiety would be the best fit for me. These classes are in a group setting and activities are general in nature. The therapist would listen, confirm your words, and then explain how each "tool" works for dealing with anxiety. Although the program can run anywhere from 8 to 12 weeks, I was only able to attend for 5 weeks due to a lack of enough sick days to cover my FMLA. In those 5 weeks, I was able to begin the process of dealing with my anxiety issue and MOST importantly, I felt far less work stress just because I was in a healthy and enriching environment, something I have to say is sorely lacking in my work environment - which is pathetic considering I work in the public school setting. Compass has shown me that my values of taking care of students and staff are not aligned with the indifference displayed within my district. This insight has led me to realize that it is time for me to move onto a different career. I am SO GRATEFUL that Compass was able to help me see this need in dealing with my anxiety. COMPASS HEALTH CENTER was the best decision I have made in many years.

    We were going through a very scary period with my 10 year old. He has ADHD, depression and anxiety, and was having suicidal tendencies. Many people, including his school principal, school social worker, and his therapist recommended the Compass Health Center. We called and made an appointment which was scheduled to happen 4 days after we contacted them. The next evening my son had another rough night and we had to call the suicide crisis hotline, 988. When I let compass know of his struggles the next day, they immediately found someone to do an intake appointment with him that day. He was accepted into the PHP program and he started the next day. It has been 2 1/2 weeks and we are so pleased with the program. He actually enjoyed attending, and learned so much. He is graduating from the program today, with so many new strategies for how to handle his emotions, and impulsivity. We know will will continue to struggle with his depression and ADHD, but are so grateful that he went through this program so he does not feel alone in his struggles, and has a tool belt of strategies to help him through the rough times.

    Went here and didn't help at all. Group therapists seem like they were just pulled of the street. Would not recommend. Go to Rogers, only a few minutes away. Only gets 2 stars because they only kept me for a few weeks.

    Compass Health Center is an absolute standout in the PHP/IOP community. The staff is supportive and understanding of each individual's needs and has the ultimate goal of creating lifelong change for those in need of support. From patients' day-to-day team to leadership, you can expect the highest level of comprehensive mental health care and know that your success as a healthy patient is their top priority. Compass understands that everyone faces unique challenges in their mental health journey, and their diverse range of programming helps patients of all ages navigate their unique concerns. Compass Health Center is a place where positive change really does happen, and I have seen firsthand how many lives have been changed by their caring approach to behavioral health care.

    Compass was amazing! We could not be happier with the services my daughter received here. The staff is so incredible at their jobs. We had a great experience and our daughter is now in a great place. I have never seen our daughter so happy.

    I am in crisis so I decided to admit myself to their PHP program after being told that I would be FULLY covered by blue cross blue shield, it turns out that blue cross blue shield does not even cover this facility because they don’t have a State license. Because of this I lost my spot in a few other facilities that ARE covered by blue cross blue shield. I’m still fighting the charge for the one day I went , thanks a lot for nothing and for leaving me in a even worse spot than before.

    Update: Our daughter has been out of Compass for 16 months now. Since then, she started at a new high school, continued doing her personal work with both a therapist and psychiatrist and we’ve seen her solidly return to the person she was before everything crumbled. Her wry sense of humor has returned, she started doing her artwork again, she independently applied and got accepted to colleges, she enjoys learning and is curious about the world around her and believes in herself. The last 16 months haven’t been a breeze but Compass gave her the skills to get through it all without crumpling back into debilitating anxiety & depression. We are so excited for her upcoming freshman year in college because SHE is excited about being part of life again. And if Dr Gonzalez sees this (who we all adore) please let her know that our daughter took her suggestion to apply to Colorado School of Mines and was accepted!! She ultimately chose the honors program at University of Colorado where she plans on studying astrophysics and astronomy. I only mention this to demonstrate that a true rebound is possible with the right care (including doing the work after the program). Our daughter really looked up to Dr G who made a lasting impression that will likely last a lifetime. We continue to be so grateful for Compass. Original: We have been beyond impressed with the level of care our daughter is receiving from the Oak Brook facility. This is a skilled and compassionate group of professionals. We are hopeful that all our child is learning here will allow her to heal and grow into the person she wants to be. PS: like any optional medical treatment, ask first what insurance is accepted and what the payment options at the beginning of the process.

    This place has saved my life. I have complex anxiety and OCD and this is my second outpatient program. Night and day with my first program. My treatment team at compass really knows me and my individual needs. The groups are super helpful. I can’t recommend it enough!

    This facility changed my life! Up until I was referred, I was just surviving and it was getting harder. Compass helped me get back to my life and breathe again. I’m a better person for doing this program. The staff is very involved and you can tell they really care. Very structured, you know what to expect each day which was such a relief. I recommend that everyone do this program - the sense of community made a world of difference for me. I wish they taught this in schools.
