I love this fishing pier because they are very clean and have all the amenities you need for fishing. There's a scale on deck to measure the size of the fish you catch. There's also a table on deck with a water hose to wash and rinse your fish or rinse your hands. There were also rags tied to the railing along the pier to wipe your hands so that was a plus even though I bought my own rag with me. It's also very kid friendly because there's a playground right across the parking lot.

Mostly Nice people. Only a few small tiny snappers. Jet skis zoom by and scare fish. I am not a fan of jet skis that zoom by and scare fish But they do it any way. I don't think they do it purposely. But they do it never the less. By the way... I have seen magnificent sunsets here. UPDATE- AUGUST 27 -2022 Still spectacular!

Best place to see the sunset in long Beach. Always a great view of the sunset. You can see the nyc skyline here as well. Always people fishing here. There's a nice and spacious parking lot. Not enough seating areas. And the ones they have are occupied for the people fishing. Overall definitely recommend for the great view and experience.

Nice place to fishing , lot of ppl fishing here , take out one star because of no public restroom and one of the light on the deck is out.

There’s a good mix of action on the pier. spacious free parking lot are well lit for nighttime fishing and are open to the public free of charge on a year-round basis.you’ll find plenty of fluke, bluefish, snappers, school stripers, weakfish, kingfish, blackfish and blowfish . The L shaped pier is neat and clean also .

I grew up hanging out at this pier and now my children are growing up fishing at this pier. It's a magical place where perfect strangers who have never seen each other before suddenly become friends simply because they are both engaged in the act of fishing even if nobody catches anything. There has never been competition from my experience, everybody is friendly. The Magnolia pier has a beautiful melting Pot of people from all walks of life enjoying the views of the surrounding areas and on clear days , glimpses of New York City

Best sunsets July through September. Been going since I was a little girl when I lived up the block. Now live in Freeport but this place always brings me back. Was there last night and caught 12 Blue Claws.

Beautiful location, saw people catching fish. Very nice area, the people are so friendly and parking is right next to the pier, not to mention a bait shop right there. Definitely a must for fishing , you can even walk your dogs

Good fishing with kind people. You can also rent rods and buy bait if you don't already have. Gets pretty crowded though.

Great place to have fun with family

Just a stand alone fishing pier for the local folks. The nearby Long Beach skating rink is a great place to cool off on a hot day. There's also a recreation center.
