This stain glass museum is an amazing place to visit to truly appreciate the art of each distinctive stain glass window. As soon as you entered the building the stain glass of the " Last Supper" captivates your eyes. As you open those huge doors, your eyes are attracted to beautiful marble murals and then once in the main entrance the light of history surprises your eyes. The senses of seeing will truly warm your heart of joy and you will be truly grateful that sight is one of those five senses to not take for granted. I am looking forwarded to going back and walk among the vivid colors of history. I am truly grateful to the Gelman family for investing in these beautiful stain glasses and sharing these masterpieces of art with the Rio Grande Valley and many other people around the world.

This museum deserves 10 stars! The stained glass is exquisite. I'm so glad Dr. Geller had his vision of preserving this art work that was saved from early American churches that would have been demolished. The hours are unusual so check beforehand. Also, purses/large bags are not allowed inside. Please go, you will not be disappointed.

It's really beautiful. I'm glad we finally have a high class museum in the valley. I went for a regular visit but now that I know that there's events here as well, I'm even more excited to visit again!

Who would’ve thought viewing stained glass panels would be such an inspirational and transcendental experience? And the most incredulous thing is these beautifully creative and artistic two hundred year old plus expressions of faith can be found in San Juan?! It is truly a hidden and priceless gem and must see. If you go, take your time to appreciate the details in the panels, the colors and the biblical stories told in a now rare medium. An absolute phenomenal delight of displayed artistic bliss.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Glenman's Stained Glass Museum with my family, and I must say it was an amazing experience. From the moment we stepped inside, we were captivated by the stunning beauty of the stained glass art on display. The museum showcased a remarkable collection of intricate stained glass pieces that truly brought stories to life. Each artwork told a unique tale, with vibrant colors and meticulous craftsmanship. It was fascinating to see how the art form evolved over the years and how it was used to depict various narratives and themes. One aspect that truly impressed us was the opportunity to take pictures. Being able to capture the intricate details and vibrant colors of the stained glass art was a wonderful way to preserve our memories and share the experience with others. The staff at Glenman's Stained Glass Museum deserves special praise. They were welcoming, knowledgeable, and always ready to assist us. They patiently answered all our questions, providing insightful information about the history and techniques behind the artwork. Their passion for stained glass art was evident, and it made our visit even more enjoyable. I will only be posting 1 photo so you can get a glimpse of what to expect.

Visited the recently opened Gelman Stained Glass Museum expecting to be impressed but what an amazingly well displayed and well lit display of some of the best artist's work in the medium of stained glass. What an amazing visit we enjoyed. Our tour director was very well informed on the process and the history behind each stained glass art work as well as the altars that had been saved from demolition. I would highly recommend going, our group of 40 were impressed by the knowledge and history shared on these magnificent works. Truly a gem among museums!

Beautiful. The entire staff is friendly and professional. As soon as I walked in to the parking lot, the security guard greeted me and welcomed me in. Once inside, the receptionist was warm and friendly, and took the time to explain several details from the brochure and what to expect once inside as I walked in, it is a self-guided tour. The building is shaped in a cross, I took the time to walk around and view each panel of stained glass, which was exquisitely done. There were also statues and alters. As I left the receptionist, once again, thanked me for visiting as the security guard outside.
