My family and I traveled 5 hours for a football tournament and stayed at this hotel. We reserved a room for 2 nights & after our first night received the unfortunate news that my grandfather had a massive stroke and heart attack- so we needed to head home. We explained the situation and asked John Deluca, front desk manager, what we should do as far as our reservation- he said because we didn’t give them 72 hours notice, they could not clean our room and resell it so we would need to pay. I would’ve actually been fine paying because I just wanted to get home- however Mr. Deluca was EXTREMELY rude & abrasive, as well as condescending to my husband and I. I am highly disappointed in the customer service & just plain decency provided by Mr. Deluca. We come to Grand Park often for sporting events and will never stay at this hotel again. Unfortunate, because it’s a nice property- however I will never support a business that employs people who lack basic human decency.

No breakfast for the tournament community, no late checkout either. Rooms are fine, our hvac and water were louder than any players in halls. Walking distance from fields but that’s the trade off. Lots of fees and taxes compared to play to stay agreement.

This location is extremely unprofessional. They harass their customers. They act inhumane. They threaten you if you ask a simple question. If Shayla or Gina, the office manager and receptionist have to do their job (answer phone, answer questions, interface with customers) they threaten and hang up the phone multiple times if it isn’t a situation they feel like assisting with (for example:canceling a room with travel insurance or assisting Priceline). Shayla also tried to refuse to give her name so you can’t share it with corporate. They openly refuse to cancel rooms booked with insurance and use bate tactics to get you to the hotel just to tell you they canceled your room after refusing to do so and hanging up multiple times. They then use scare tactics and send several men after a woman who is defenseless to scare and intimidate. They did this in the parking lot while I stood quietly with my son. In the background of the group of men was one of the female employees laughing as the men threatened me and my child. The heavy set white male who made multiple threats, said Emily told him about me. I have no idea who Emily is. I recorded my interactions with this staff and will be sharing with multiple entities. There were also several witnesses to this behavior. Don’t stay here!!!!!

I expected a continental breakfast. They didn't have one. The beds were comfortable; however they had thick wooded bed frames and you had too be careful that you didn't bump into them. All guests enter through the main entrance, no outside access to rooms.

Very nice place. Odd that there is space for a full bar and breakfast buffet but neither was available. I'd think with proper management, those would work well. Especially with all the tournaments going on across the street. Room was nice but the showers were weird with not great water pressure.

Great location for ballgames at Grand Park, a nice lobby for team activities, and generally well-designed and decorated. It will be loud on the weekends in the summer, as youth teams enjoy being young people. My biggest complaint is that it features those atrocious showers that do not close - they consist of a single pane of glass that only halfway occluded the shower opening. This means that the floor is always soaking wet when you get out of the shower, there is a constant flow of cooler air as you clean up, and you spend a good chunk of your time in the hotel wondering what committee approved an idea with no benefits and a host of obvious drawbacks.

We recently stayed there for a baseball tournament and talk about convenient. We walked to the ball diamonds everyday and it was so nice to be so close in between games. The hotel rooms were exquisite and very clean. The staff was incredible especially Emily at the front desk. The lobby was a great place for everyone to gather and hang out. Would highly recommend this hotel and would gladly stay here again.

Beware!!! If you’re interested in sleeping, DO NOT stay here! We stayed overnight for a volleyball tournament. We dealt with groups of feral children slamming doors, screaming, & running down the halls all night. We complained to the front desk and were asked not to say anything to the children because they were with a hockey group. Apparently they were the only paying customers in the hotel for the night?! Literally no concern for our very valid complaint. The point of paying for a room is to sleep, although I’m fairly certain we would’ve gotten better rest in our car. We’ve stayed in multiple hotels throughout our tournaments years. In our past experience, hotels don’t act as a wild 24hr daycare/zoo. Typically, children must have an adult with them at all times. We will NOT stay here again!! Complete trash!

Room was Clean but overall horrible experience. I’ve had better experiences at a motel 6. First, elevator needs serviced. It started shaking before your stop. Second, I ordered food and the Uber eats driver could not come up stairs. Even though you don’t need key access. It was only because the front desk saw him. Also, there is no shower door. The bathroom floor gets soaked after shower. Another thing is breakfast. You can’t even order breakfast from the hotel on weekends. Restaurant is closed and no complementary breakfast given. Over all horrible experience. Not worth the price I paid.

Nice location for baseball tournament. Nice that you have a bar but $10 for a shot of Crown? Seriously? C'mon man. And bar only open till 9PM? What a shame. Clean modern rooms and facility overall. Half a shower door? Horrible idea.

Very up to date beautiful hotel. Very clean and roomy. My 16 year old gives it a thumbs up..."the bathroom has a Bluetooth speaker in it!" Would stay again.

Eh.... close to the fields, room was ok. No breakfast on weekends, pretty high price considering that, and the hotel was FULL. Won't stay here again. Check out times crummy, and no late check out options. OH, and they Lock out your room 5 minutes before check out?!?!? Security is not good. Won't stay here again and won't recommend.

Far exceeded our expectations for an incredible price! Very clean with a friendly staff, I wish all hotels were this great of an experience. I will not hesitate to book again.

Management was incredibly rude to my partner and I. Miscommunication within payments and he looked at us as though we were criminals or unfit to pay when I make a great living for myself. Very unprofessional, very rude, and very dissatisfied with my stay. I have spent a lot of money in this hotel and I can't believe that just happened or a human could act as so. He spoke very rudely to my partner and told her to mind her business. I am appalled with his actions. I love this hotel very much and all of the other workers here. We will take our money elsewhere next time thanks to your GM!

This hotel is so beautiful and the fact that I paid over 720$ to stay here and to deal with the insane amount of kids and parents that do not care that their kids are running up and down the halls at crazy times of the morning and night are beyond insane!! You bring it to the staffs attention and they blow you off pretty much!!! Pretty sure this will be the last time I pay to stay at a place that’s wild!!

The staff is awesome. We arrived early for a concert and just thought we would see if a room was ready. Lucy went above and beyond when we were not expecting that. She got us in our room early and was fantastic the entire time. We stayed here 2 times this summer to go see concerts at deer creek. We will we back because of this hotel.

We stayed here while visiting friends. It is very nice but rather isolated. The staff was very friendly. We were disappointed that there was no free breakfast.

We recently had a stay here for a youth Hockey tournament. Usually hotels hate us from the start. The staff was so kind and respectful to our boys. They allowed us to take over the lobby. There is a basketball hoop for down time. Both the kids and adults had an amazing stay!

Great room and service. Don't know Indiana all that well but I felt we were located perfectly to where we needed to be. Would recommend selling googles for swimming in the lobby and different games in the game room.

Very nice hotel. Night shift person could have been a little more friendly. Came across as being distracted by other things.

Very nice hotel, front desk and bar staff are superb, my only complaint is if you are staying long term, like I did (2 1/2 weeks for work) the maids are prone to skipping your room, I only got my room cleaned once during the stay.

Well, there picture shows a good breakfast. But, no breakfast. And the bed frames stick out 6 inches passed the bed. I hit my shin on the bed 3 times in 2 days. And coffee cold every morning.. not happy with this place for the money that was payed..

The hotel is nice. Rooms are big enough and are clean and well appointed. I had issues with outlets not working in my room (especially the bathroom) and then some lights (integrated into the head board) stopped working. The issue with the lights was resolved quickly by maintenance; the outlets in the bathroom still didn't work when I left. The lobby area was nice and large enough to do a zoom call after check out - and not bother anyone or be bothered. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Love the service and the contemporary look and vibe of this hotel. Very close to many restaurants and stores as well. A nice location, but you still feel secluded and nestled in a nice quiet area. The Wilson family will definitely recommend this hotel and location 😊

Staff was great! Rooms were clean. Hotel was very busy due to local sporting events, and we were near the lobby. I was concerned with noise but it wasn't an issue.

Beautiful hotel inside and out. We were greeted by John at the front desk he was super nice and polite along with all the front desk people, but there was a tall man on the evening of 11/12/22 not the best to represent your hotel maybe he was having a bad day maybe not. As a former hotel manager not providing a complimentary breakfast when your suppose to is wrong and having the front desk using the covid coverup as an excuse sorry doesn’t work with me, I’ve managed 3 Wyndham hotels at once and were able to provide breakfast even if it was a grab bag for individual wrapped items. This should be told to guests at check in as your website states it is available. More than likely not going to come back here we it’s my family.

We decided to take our kids to the hotel for a couple of evenings on fall break so they could enjoy the pool. We checked in at 3pm but the pool was closed and didn’t open until after 5pm. The next day we got up and got ready to go swimming but once again the pool was closed. The hours posted state that the pool opens at 6am. When we asked the front desk staff what time the pool was opening, they didn’t have a real answer. We went up to our room and then decided to do the arcade which we had to request to be opened. After the arcade, we went back to our room and called for an update on the pool. We were told it would open around 12:30. So we decided to eat lunch and head to the pool around 12:45. Still not open and front desk still had no answer but called to ask maintenance. They informed her they would be back in ten minutes to check it. After fifteen minutes of waiting they showed up and finally opened the pool after 1pm. Super frustrating since the purpose of the hotel visit was to let the kids swim all day. Later that evening I went to the front desk and asked for towels and trash bags. The gentleman at the desk was clearly flustered between the phones and my request so he wrote down my room number and said someone would bring us some. When we were brought our stuff, they brought us toilet paper only. Then comes bed time around 10pm and the hallways were obnoxiously loud even through “quiet time” for the hallways start at 10pm. Our rooms were clean but as some other reviews state, there was ZERO food provided and the bar was not open.

This hotel was clean and very nice. The staff was amazing, especially Emily and Angel! They were super helpful all along the way. I really hope we get to stay here again in the future.

Clean, quiet and the most friendly hotel I have ever stayed at. When my car was having issues, the staff helped me out by contacting a mechanic that came to the hotel to look at it and fixed it right there. The concern for my well being was above and beyond!!! I will always stay here when in this area!!! Thank you to you all for making me feel like family!!!!!

Comfortable beds and rooms have ample room and pretty clean except for a bit of dust. The shower set up is ridiculous with a half glass wall. Water gets everywhere. Pool is not small children friendly, starts our much deeper than usual and no hot tub, which we were hoping for. Indoor arcade is pretty cool but small. “Bagged breakfast” not so cool and ends at 8am. We were visiting for vacation and ending breakfast at 8am is a bit ridiculous. Walls and floors are PAPER THIN and you can literally here conversations from other rooms and don’t get me started about people moving around.

The staff was fantastic and extremely welcoming. My wife and I had to stay for 2 months while our house was being built and every morning they would greet us and tell us how the temperature is outside and say good luck on our run. Anything we asked or had questions about they were extremely helpful and even suggested local establishments to try out. I would definitely recommend this place to stay.

Absolutely NO BREAKFAST OPTIONS! No continental or anything. This did not use to be case. For the price they could at least give a muffin. No restaurants real close. You literally pay a HIGH priced room cost for location and nothing else. Extremely disappointed. Hotel staff was extremely nice and rooms clean. However, NOT WORTh the cost. Kids could not enjoy the pool due to unruly kids and drunk parents. Will drive the 10 min to have a breakfast and happy hour for 40 bucks cheaper.

Very nice property. Because of Covid concerns they did not offer any restaurant services or food, that is the only reason for the 4 Star review, otherwise they get all 5 STARS. We stayed for a soccer tournament, and had a hotel full of people. I asked to be on the hugest floor away from the elevators, and that was a great choice. We had a potential Tornado at 3am and the hotel staff had us meet in the lobby and stay away from the windows. Every single staff member I interacted was extremely pleasant and concerned with how our stay was. Great location if you are going to the Grant Park complex.
