everyone there is super nice and helpful, very professional and educated, except for this one rancid woman who answers the phone sometimes. incredibly rude and condescending. she's never given me her name but I assume she's an older woman. my wife had a rather severe problem and went to make a follow up appointment after receiving some care, and this womans response was "but do you really need it, though? i mean i dont see anything here, so i dont think you need it" even though the doctor told her to make a follow up appointment if she was still feeling ill - and she was. she wouldn't let my wife make a follow up appointment at all. Another time, she tried calling to return a call and the woman put her on hold for five minutes before hanging up on her, and when she called back, the woman just hung up on her immediately. I missed a call regarding my perscription and not even ten minutes later I called back and got this woman, who kept putting me on hold and taking me off hold over and over for five minutes before sending me straight to voicemail and I still haven't received a response to my voicemail. Fire this horrible little woman if you value good work.

I had an appointment here and they called 20 minutes before saying our insurance didn’t cover it. The person we spoke to said she had been on the phone with my insurance company for an hour in a half. We ended up speaking to the manager about what we should do because I had driven down and taken off work and she didn’t really seem to care but she said we could try calling the insurance for ourselves. We call our insurance and they say that they cover this exact clinic. Soooo we call the manager again she says there’s no more openings but she will call later or something. Never get a call and we called this morning but will probably have to wait until Monday. I feel so neglected by this clinic at the moment. They have no decency for me or my situation, neither did they try to right their wrong.

Heard planned pp overall could help get the hormones. Had issues with their site. Can't put inurance info in. No live help. Tried to call in several time. Left on hold longer than can be on hold or just dropped altogether. So now I have an appointment I am unable to cancel or even confirm. Guess they will figure it out when no one shows up for the time slot.

All the workers here are absolute angels. I have never gotten any pevic exam before my appointment, which I had scheduled to get an IUD. I was very nervous but the nurses were very kind and understanding. The doctor who inserted my IUD was very paitent and kind towards me despite me being super nervous and crying due to my anxiety over the procedure. When I went to checkout, the nurse asked if I was okay, and when I said I didn't know, she let me sit down and gave me a sprite and just let me calm down. I just cannot describe how grateful I am towards them and their profession. Thank you <3

I've been coming here since I was a teenager, and I used to love this place. They've helped me when other doctors couldn't. But as of today, I'm sad to say I will no longer be going to PP. Four years ago I had an IUD placed after they told me insurance would cover it 100% and that I only had to pay my copay. Fast forward to this week, and suddenly I have an over $400 bill and won't see me until I pay it? I've been there in the last couple years too, and no one made any mention of it then or when I called to make my appointment. I'm not sure who or where someone screwed up, but I'm done coming here or donating money.

Absolutely wonderful experience! I was accepted for who I was the moment I walked in the door. Everyone from the nurses to the receptionists were kind, supportive, and did everything they could to make me feel comfortable. I was recently laid off with no health insurance due to covid and they still did everything they could to make sure I was cared for without hurting my wallet. Thank you planned parenthood!!

I had to get some tests run for my job (I'm a phlebotomist so they require all workers to get tested for certain diseases that they could give to a patient before they start working) and the people here were amazing. There was a five minute wait and they had so much information available for me and everyone else. They had information for men, women, gay couples, straight couples. Everyone. Best of all, it was all free. I can afford to go and get the tests on my own so this was a blessing. They do have take donations for their services and I encourage you to give. I stand with PP.

You would think that a gynecologist office would be better than Planned Parenthood but that is definitely wrong. Although some of their equipment (like the weight scale) is slightly outdated, they really make you feel cared for and answer all of your questions in such a nice and friendly manner. The wait is SO much shorter than a doctors office.

Planned Parenthood is great! They provide important resources to the community. This is a good place to get birth control or a gyn check-up. They're quick, clean, and flexible. They squeezed me in several times with no appointment for emergencies. The staff is caring. They're LGBT friendly, including non-binary people. They need to do better with using correct pronouns and names though. They provide accessible hormone replacement therapy for trans people!

Reviewing because i saw someone claim theyre not trans friendly. This is nonsense at least in my experience. Been coming here for about a year and had been on hormones for about 6 months prior to that (through planned parenthood elsewhere) ive been shown nothing but respect. Fwiw MtF

The receptionist & nurse are so polite and friendly! Tried to pronounce my name right and the check in process was smooth. Although the billing customer service took forever to pick up my call and the gynecologist I got was not very gentle and seems careless.

I had an appointment and denied care bc I had Medicare and Medicaid. I even offered to pay out of pocket and still denied. Wish I knew that before driving all the way there.

I had made an appointment to get my IUD I’ve only had for a year out since my OB office wasn’t returning my calls. I also felt better going to PP to get it out since I knew they’d listen to me and not guilt me into keeping it, like some providers do. They saw me quickly and did my intake, only asking basic questions about my issues with my IUD and why I wanted it removed. No guilt, no attempting to get me to keep it longer. And then the provider came in shortly after and quickly removed it! I’ve been to this PP before for STD testing and felt comfortable coming back to get my IUD out. This PP location will always be my go to if I need to use their services again.

Very inconsiderate people. Man was rude at the front desk and even tried not to see my child. They close the window to talk about you as if you can't see them. Absolutely no beside manners and zero respect for the new young adults. This location is a joke. Maybe if they obtain a whole new staff they'd be okay!

Incredibly welcoming staff! I Recently relocated to the area and have not been able to get a new primary care. My insurance was accepted with no problems. The wait time was low, I was in and out in no time. Will be a returning patient!

LOVE this place! Went today for an annual check up and was a little bummed that I couldn’t get my test done today (due to having an abnormal PAP in the past, they needed those results prior to doing my exam), but it was my bad for not having my recs sent first. I showed up early and was also seen early, and everyone I interacted with was super nice and helpful. I was worried about using new (not well known) insurance after my job changed companies this year, but they had it in their system and were able to bill them. The clinician also went ahead and refilled my birth control today, even though I have to come back for my PAP test, which was really helpful. Will continue to come here and am happy to support Planned Parenthood!

I visited planned parenthood this morning! It was the best appointment I’ve ever had. All the staff was amazing. The front desk, the lady checking you in for your procedure, the ladies doing the procedure, the ladies checking you out, every single one was amazing! Every single staff asked me how I was. I had no insurance and the amount was really reasonable for me !

I do not recommend making any appointments at any of the Planned Parenthood’s in the Indianapolis area. They have terrible scheduling. I had tried scheduling appointments twice within two weeks of each other and both times they were cancelled by PP after scheduling through their online portal with one excuse being that it was a telehealth day and the other that the nurse working that day wasn’t in my insurance network. Very poor scheduling options which make it very inconvenient for people who have to take off of work and make arrangements to meet appointment times. Again, very inconsiderate and do not recommend going here at all.

I have been trying to pay a $3.49 bill for several weeks now every time I actually get live help they tell me that they're not able to take payments currently over the phone. Then when I get referred to the billing department nobody ever contacts me when they say that they will. I've also asked for my account number several times and no one can tell me my account number so I can just pay the bill myself online, ya know since I've also never gotten a paper bill sent to me. How am I supposed to pay my bill when there's no way for me to pay it apparently no one knows my account number I can't pay it over the phone I can't pay online I can't send in a check unless I have account number and information... I'm still trying to pay the bill and it's now two weeks beyond the initial post. I can't reach anyone and I call twice daily! My portal doesn't connect to anything, its all kinds of messed up, I can't get a new bill sent to me, billing doesn't call back or email back, the office doesn't take payment? and no one knows what my account number is so I can just pay it online.

I was well cared for her for an IUD placement. Both the nurse and NP that I saw were extremely kind and made me feel safe and comfortable. They provided me with education on the IUD types and allowed me to make my own decisions during my care. I was treated with respect and the procedure was performed quickly and as comfortably as possible.

I've had great experiences with PP consistently, but the staff at this location is friendly and helpful every single time. They've also been the most no-nonsense of ANY provider I've seen about my treatment goals and dosage adjustments

Not trans-friendly. Tried transferring here for HRT (already 1yr on) but they said they can't see men. Asked about my genitalia, and said "so a male, they can't see males."

This is the worst planned Parenthood I've ever been to . The nurse laughed in my face when I told her I didn't have insurance. Said she scheduled an appointment for me for today and when I got there there was no appointment scheduled. Very rude and unwelcoming . I'm sorry for anyone who has to deal with these people

The wait was a little long but it was worth it for how wonderful I was treated. I went in for an IUD placement and the nurse and doctor were so welcoming and respectful as well as the workers at checkin/checkout. I was explained to very thoroughly what to expect and how the procedure would go. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who needs birth control or other services that they provide.

I went to planned parenthood my first time as an adult when I lost my job..since medical needs still happen and whether you have money or not. I was blown away with how kind and fun the staff was. So again, now with a job and insurance I went to planned parenthood again simply because why would I give my business to another office that doesn’t treat me as good as the people here! I can’t even really put into words how comfortable everyone here made me feel. The front desk people, the medical assistant and the np were all extraordinary both times I’ve been here. I really appreciate their services for the community as well as to those with insurance. :)

After reading all the previous reviews I was a little nervous about going to this facility, but I must say I can't agree with any of them. I went into planned parenthood for testing but ended up leaving with an appointment for next week to get FREE birth control. I was very scared to go in there at first but I must say I'm so thankful for the pleasant experience I had tonight. The ladies there were so incredibly helpful, non judgmental and genuinely caring. Normally I don't like to write reviews but I knew after reading some of the nasty things that were written before, I had to share my experience. I'm so thankful that we have planned parenthood still around and I'm so thankful for such knowledgeable, compassionate people. Thank you all again.
