This was a great surprise, especially in a small town like Marion. The rooms were clean and well laid out. The lobby was clean, open, and ready to casually lounge or work in. Breakfast was great! A very modern hotel with friendly staff and a prime location. Would absolutely stay there again.

The price for what this place gives you is WELL WORTH it. Come here if you want a bed and pillow you won’t wake up to your alarm in. ☁️ so fluffy. The ambient lighting in the room I stayed in made me feel more relaxed than ever. And the breakfast they served was free for occupants, and that food was the bomb. They have a heated pool, but nothing like we wished for a hot tub. Adding that amenity would be the only thing I’d change. I can’t forget to mention I’m from Michigan, and the people in this city, Marion IN, are so much more friendly - along with the workers at this hotel. I absolutely suggest staying here.

The rooms are spacious, modern and well lit. Wifi worked great and everything we needed was easy to find. Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast staff was rude and unhelpful. Tongs for picking up items from the hot trays were difficult to use and there is nowhere to set down your plate while you open the hot tray and try to serve yourself. Lobby bathrooms were gross and obviously needed a good deep clean. Hotel staff were smoking very close to the front doors which was frustrating since the signs all over the property said no smoking on the premises, not just inside the hotel.

Overall, not too bad. This was a hotel that Google described as luxury.. 🤔 Supposed to be a 4 star hotel, but seemed the same as 3 star holiday inn's I've been in. If you're one who overlooks detail, this hotel is just fine. Mostly clean, comfortable enough bed. When we came in (around 7:30) we were greeted by a young man sitting and watching TV. It wasn't until he walked to the desk that we realized he was an employee. He was friendly, checked us in, and went to retrieve an extra blanket that I requested. Unfortunately, he brought out a duvet cover. I just went with it, so it's on me that I didn't make clear it wasn't correct. The room was comfortable, there was a chaise lounge type sofa in addition to our king bet. Two rolling ottomans were nice, and I haven't seen those elsewhere. In the bathroom, the towels were frayed and stringy, leaving them to get caught on jewelry and nails 💅. The toilet wobbled when you sat on it and it didn't seem like the edges/corners of anything were well cleaned. Breakfast included many options and name brand choices of creamers and yogurt. Overall, it was a good stay, and as long as I wasn't paying top dollar for the room, I'd probably stay again.

The room is nice. The staff was ehhh. The pool had so much chlorine, but doesn’t make it clean. My Husband, daughter, and I have a tradition staying at Holiday Inns on Xmas Eve since it’s just us. That being said the pool is a huge part of our fun so I wasnt happy seeing the pool was so merky I didn’t want to get in.

Great Holiday Inn Express. Stayed four nights. The room, exercise room, halls, staircase, elevators are all well kept. The breakfast area was exceptional. Tanja kept the food, coffee, and dining area very clean and tidy. She prepared the hot food properly (no hard as a rock biscuits) and kept everything fully stocked. The best hot breakfast food I’ve ever had at a HIE. The rooms seem to be better insulated than many as I didn’t hear much noise from neighbors to the sides or above nor the hallway and the hotel was quite busy. I’ll definitely stay again the next time I’m in the area for work.

Whenever my husband and I come to Marion...we always choose Holiday Inn for our resting place. The service is Great and the rooms are Immaculate!! I highly recommend it for a fresh and comfortable stay😉👍🏼Troy and Maryna Nukes

Worst room service - poor poor poor room service . Last 7 months every month I stayed here for weeks and they won’t do bed and room cleaning 5+ days in straight. Front desk will rant out management issues or some goof up ideas like - cleaners have left us , cleaners have walked out . Overall hotel is good but hygiene wise bad . Please improvise

Staff was friendly. The rooms and elevator had sticky floors. Drop a washcloth on the floor in the tile bathroom and was brown from sticky areas. The room was clean other than tile floors. Was quiet at night. The breakfast was the same as most hotels' great variety.

I gave it all a 5 star only because it's still brand new suits. But they do need work on is cleaning the rooms. Some spots on chairs and carpet. Also mildew in bathroom. The cleaning crew is not doing a very good job.

I stayed here with my family. First impression, pulling in on a holiday weekend, there was plenty of parking. That was nice. The exterior was also very clean and new. Check in was a breeze and fast, and as a Spire they upgraded me to a suite. The suite had 2 queen beds and a pull out. The room was clean and very nice, sheets were clean. Breakfast was also better than other hotels I've experienced. They had more options than usual. The location was also very good. There were plenty of restaurants near by. If I'm in this area, I'm staying here.

clean and comfortable. went with a large group at the beginning of august and the staff was very friendly. the breakfast bar is great and i like the concession at the front desk. washer/dryer was a little expensive, but happy to have them available.

My stay at Holiday Inn Expess was excellent! Staff took care of our every need. Rooms were clean and well maintained. The lobby and food area were pristine! I can not recommend this motel enough. I will certainly stay here again when our conference comes up next year. Thank you Holiday Inn Express!

This holiday inn is amazing. Breakfast is always perfect, love the variety. The lady that runs the Breakfast has the best hospitality. Rooms are always clean. My family and I have been coming to this location since it opened and have never had a complaint.

We stayed one night and headed out early the next day. That being said, we were greeted kindly, the hotel was clean and looks either new or just well maintained. The room was clean and I slept comfortably :-) We didn't use the fitness center and left prior to breakfast so I cannot comment on the amenities. I would definitely stay again, Thanks!

This is the best hotel in Marion, IN. The staff are friendly, the lobby, elevator, halls, and rooms are very clean. The beds are very comfortable with super soft pillows. I read a lot about Tonya from the other reviews on here but didn’t get to meet her because she works during the week but Peggy who takes care of breakfast on the weekends and started a few weeks ago is a delight as well. This is my go to hotel in Marion. Yes it is more expensive than other hotels in the area and your definitely not going to like the other ones. So if you can, I strongly recommend staying here.
