We love Cineworld in ely , the Staff are always polite and very helpful.. we watched Sonic the hedgehog 2 and we all loved it. A great place to bring the family or just yourself and have the latest movies 🎬

Really friendly staff but the volume of the sound really took away from our experience. Whilst I appreciate the need for surround sound, the audio was so loud at points that it was really uncomfortable and hurt my ears. Same for my mum who is hearing impaired and took out her hearing aids. The quality of the picture also wasn’t fantastic. I would also remind anyone booking to get seats at the back as the screen is completely unwatchable from the front section. We moved back to some empty seats so we could comfortably see the whole screen. Additionally, staff members came in to scan the crowd with binoculars throughout the film which at first I thought was someone taking photos. It made me quite uncomfortable and was very distracting. I think this needs an alternative solution e.g. security cameras.

Trips to this Cineworld have been overall positive and not had any major issues. Food has been good and the staff are very friendly. We always book our tickets in advance so have no issues with seating though some of the seats could do with a bit of TLC. Sound and picture quality have both been fine though I’d advise sitting towards the back if possible because it’s quite difficult to watch from the first few rows.

Overpriced, cold, dry popcorn. Save your money, and do not buy anything other than a beverage. The theater seats don't recline and are not comfortable. The staff tend to not clean up the rooms after each viewing. It is kind of creepy that the staff came into the theater room five times during the movie to survey the customers by using some night vision equipment. I felt very uncomfortable 😕.

Seats were very uncomfortable and couldn’t recline. There was a work colleague there (ginger with glasses) who made a snide comment about my weight and suggested I purchase 2 seats. I should have left the cinema there and then. I’m really upset

I love this cinema. If I had to make one criticism I often think the sound could be "bigger"; it's not just that it could be louder, more it needs a bit of Dolby going on or something. Still, we watched Guardians 3 in Screen 1 and had a blast! Update: 11/11/23 still great! Review stands, if I'm super persnickety I sometimes thing the images can be a bit soft and could be sharper.

Complex factors at play for Cineworld Administration, but I swear Screen 5 at this branch is the real reason. Dreadful projection quality made worse by light glare all over screen from Exit lighting.

Andy was absolutely fantastic with his customer service! An absolute joy to be served by and hope he recieves recognition for his hard work!
