Horrible place! They tell you that you can pay with credit card and when you go to oay they say not. They give you the chance to pay with euros but the change is very very bad. You oay more than 25% extra! Very dirty place!! Not recommended!!

Dear tourists, I am Turkish citizen and I don't recommend this place! Don't eat here. You'll be scammed. They are very Rude and disrespectfull. They are only after your money. You can eat at the boats in front of the bridge. They are cheaper and much more friendly. Enjoy your visit in Istanbul!

Balik ekmek is dry and tasteless, no sauce nither provided nor suggested. Service rude and in hurry. Also they don't accept cards but don't tell about it until you want to pay. Pretty unpleasant experience from visiting this place. I definitely don't recommend it. Total waste of time and money.

actually the food is delicious, the place is also beautiful, but it's very noisy, they are shouting to call guests to come to their restaurant.

It was decent. Fish was lovely as expected, 'boneless' doesn't seem to be a concept here but not too difficult to work around this. Quick service, beautiful views. Also recommend the cups of pickle, delicious especially on warmer days.

Do not come to this restaurant. There is no effort made out into making their food. We had the fish sandwiches which were not hot, the fish were not de-boned (this was our third time trying fish sandwich, the first few times were all amazing). It was bland. Food was extremely disappointing, given most of the restaurants near by are of better quality. Don’t try the stuffed mussels. It tasted off.

I had the worst experience at Osmanli Balik Evi in Istanbul. The food quality was extremely poor, and the staff was incredibly rude. When we asked to pay by credit card, the man claimed they didn't have a credit card machine. So, we had to go and withdraw cash. To our surprise, when we returned, another customer was paying by card. His excuse was that they didn't accept foreign credit cards, which was completely unfair. Don't trust him; he will make you order a lot of food, and in the end, the quality is terrible. The only good thing was the Bream fish, but the rest of the menu was just plain awful. Please, go to another restaurant; there are plenty to choose from.

I think you should try this place if you are in Istanbul. It's a typical fish restaurant. Tasty and affordable.

Came here, had a fish sandwich. It was worth the stop, food was basic and tasty, service was fine and what you expect for the price. I think some of these reviews are a bit unfair. If you are hungry and wanting a quick snack, stop here.

We were really hungry so decided to went to a random restaurant without checking reviews and it was a big mistake. Balik ekmek was the worst I ever tried, it was greasy, completely tasteless and full of bones, no tomato only a bit of lettuce. Even the lemon juice they have on each table had zero lemon taste no matter how much you add on your ekmek. Better go to literally any other place

The location is good with nice view. Unfortunately was disappointed by the dood. Although fish was fresh, it was badly cooked and soaked in oil.

VERY VERY VERY BAD. TERRIBLE. We ordered fish ekmek. HUGE loaf of tasteless bread (not grilled), some onions, some salad, some burned fish with lots of bones. -100500 stars. Recomend this place to your archenemy.
