Delicious and simple food. Their menu is not extensive, and yet they have all the essentials for breakfast. Richelle was very friendly and provided excellent service.

Breakfast on Sunday morning. Friendly service. Food came out quickly. My eggs on the eggs Benedict were hard, no runny yolk. The food was tasty.

This place was only ok for me. There was a wait on a Monday around noon (Indigenous Peoples' Day), which tells me it's one of the better restaurants in this small town. They were out of their signature meatloaf by the time we got seated, but the half of the egg/bacon/waffle entree was solid and the chicken sandwich on a croissant was fine as well. Nothing to write home about but everything tasted pretty much as you expect. Very reasonable prices as well, our bill for the 2 above items was $22. Service was really kind albeit a little slow—I think the kitchen had a backlog. Patio seating is nice and good social distancing indoors!

I ordered the turkey BLAT was delicious. My husband ordered the meatloaf and it was super salty. The service was good, especially for being under staffed.

Quaint, charming place with lovingly prepared food. My salad included strawberries, pecans, and blue cheese with a delicious balsamic vinaigrette and a huge thick slice of country-style homemade white bread with tangy red peppers baked in! They are famous for this bread, deservedly! From what I understand, it's different each day. My friend had a basic breakast,, and hubby had a French Dip. Staff is amazing, atmosphere is antique, and they let you know your table is ready by text.

A family run restaurant that serves GREAT food and makes you feel at home? Yeah if I want servers to be on my every whim I’ll go to Vail or Aspen and pay 10 times more OR NOT!! Love this place. Was one of the things my family and I will remember. Highly recommend

We ate outside since we had our small dogs with us. Good service and food in a more funky than fancy place. It's in the old original area of Georgetown which is worth a look as a small but cool old Colorado town. I'd go again if the occasion arose.

Cute little place. Had the Cinnamon roll, huge but not the best flavor. My husband had country breakfast burrito, he said it was good. We also got a loaf of cheddar jalapeño bread to go, can't wait to taste it!

My family bumbled in here earlier today. We were freezing from the weather during the Xmas market, hungry and looking to warm up. We had six people, no reservation and they managed to seat us in less than five minutes. The young man at the door was kind and immediately cleaned off a table for us. My family is often very picky about food, and the waitress was gracious and accommodating for us. The food was excellent and very well priced. The beef stew bread bowls were top notch as well.

The people are so friendly, the food is amazing, and the building is very cute and matches the town perfectly! The country burrito is perfect on a cold day

Beautiful, quaint and cozy! Great atmosphere and service. Food was delicious!!! We had biscuits and gravy, waffle, French toast and bacon and eggs. Bathrooms were very clean. They have free WiFi.

My family and I were so excited to try this place! Everyone in Georgetown and in the local shops was so friendly and making us feel so welcome for our first visit in the beautiful town. That was until we arrived at the “Happy” Cooker. Our waitress was rude, unfriendly, and rushed our service. We weren’t welcomed by her, she never asked if we wanted any drinks, or if even asked if we had any questions about the menu. When we mentioned we needed another glass for water, (the first one she brought had a lipstick stain on it! Gross!!) she seemed very brother and was so unapologetic that we had received a dirty glass to began with. The food was not what we were expecting and the taste was far from good. Overall our experience at the “Happy” Cooker was unpleasant. We will definitely return to Georgetown, but we will be staying far away from this place.
