This is an experience that we'll never forget & being truffle enthusiasts we were so excited & it definitely exceeded all our expectations! It was so fun & informative at the same time, we hunted for truffle & Massimo was so informative & encouraged us to ask questions to learn & absorb all the information we could get our hands on... Later Letizia cooked us a private four course lunch, where we were taught how truffle can be used in each course & we were served wines to match the dishes served. Massimo, Salvatore, Letizia & of course Geo were so lovely, approachable & informative & we can't thank you enough for the amazing day. We highly recommend, its money well spent!

Do not hesitate, book now. Massimo is a great guide for the real truffle hunters (his dogs, we went with Geo). After an easy pickup from the train station, a short ride to hunt for truffles, we returned to his house. In an amazing space his sister cooked us, and taught us more about truffles. The food was incredible and I cannot recommend the experience enough. It’s an experience and day worth many times the cost and will teach you the real story and truths behind truffles. Also, say hi to Sky at the house. She’s a sweetheart of a golden retriever.

A highlight of our Tuscany trip. Hunting for truffles with Massimo and Stella was so interesting and we learned a lot. Watching the way Stella and Massimo worked together was great! The meal after was the perfect ending. Letizia patiently explained how she cooked everything. It was our own private cooking show! The food was incredible and paired with great wines. This was one of the best things we did while in Italy for 13 days!!! We really enjoyed spending time with Massimo & his dog, Gio. Afterwards, his sister prepared the best dish we ate while in Italy! Massimo and his sister were kind & very knowledgeable about truffles. They spoke English well. I highly recommend this tour!!!

We had a really good experience. The truffle hunting trip isn't exactly going deep into the woods. In fact, you are right next to the town - nearly in it. It's interesting that you don't need to go for to find black or white truffle. The conversation was interesting and informative, and the host was really welcoming. The dinner part is focused on truffle. Not all dishes connected for me, but they were interesting and unexpected for me (for example, the white chocolate with white truffle is not something I would order again, but I don't regret trying it). The people hosting the event really care about the art of truffle hunting, and it shows. They are passionate about this, and I can recommend the experience.

Our family of 4 including two teens spent two weeks in Italy and had one amazing and unforgettable experience after another. This one, a truffle-hunting experience with cooking lesson/demo and a meal was at the top of the list for us. Massimo is incredibly knowledgeable, passionate, and loves to share that knowledge with others. His sister Letizia is an fantastic cook as well, and equally passionate about truffles, cooking, and her family's unique and fascinating traditions. Can't recommend highly enough.

The morning with Massimo and his family was truly wonderful and the highlight of our Italy trip. It is an experience not to be missed! As a family of truffle hunters, they are incredibly knowledgable and welcoming. The morning started with Massimo and Geo taking us on a truffle hunt, where we are taught about the different truffles, how to be discerning when buying truffles in restaurants, about herbs and spices, recipes that bring out the best in each type of truffle we commonly eat. We headed back after spending time in the field, and Letizia kindly showed us how she cleans and prepares the truffles for each course we were served. The family's kindness and generosity shone through during this whole experience and I am truly happy to have been made their acquaintance.

Great introduction to this truffle tour with Massimo and the dog. Went through the search process and found some in the process, real eye opener. Warm welcome by his family too while we are having the delicious truffle lunch made by Letizia. The lunch was in a comfortable and nice setting within their own compound. Really good and worthwhile tour. Strongly recommend for those keen to know how real truffle looks like.

Massimo and his gorgeous truffle hunting dogs are a delight to wander the forest with! Then Letizia prepares delicious dishes in front of you using the super fresh truffles you have just found served with really lovely local wines and perhaps a special treat prepared by Salvatore. The whole experience is wonderful. We have visited before and we will definitely be visiting again to hunt the white truffle!

Truffle hunting with Massimo and Geo was the highlight of our trip in Tuscany. It is amazing how Massimo is carrying his family tradition and passing the knowledge of truffle. The ending to the truffle hunting activity was dinner prepared by his sister Letizia which was the best Ravioli we've had in Italy! Thank you Massimo, Geo and Letizia for the unique experience. We will make sure to pass this knowledge back home :) we highly recommend this experience to whoever loves truffle and authentic Italian food!

Highly recommend. It was made very personal, food and wine was amazing. No commercialisation at all, just went out into the forest with the truffle hunter (dog) and got to see some of the peacefulness and tradition of Tuscany. Then went back into their house with the freshly found truffles to taste them with homemade dishes accompanied with wine.

My mother and I did the truffle and lunch and we’ll be talking about it for weeks! Highly recommend to anyone, visitors or locals. The whole experience, their knowledge, the food- all amazing.

We had a wonderful afternoon with Massimo and Mila the dog. We were a family of seven with children ages 3-10 and grandparents and the hunt was well suited for all of us. Massimo was incredibly patient with us and our kids and all were captivated by his stories. Later we had a tasting with him and his father and the food was amazing!!! Unprecedented! All in all an incredible experience, one we will never forget! Well worth the trip and highly recommended. Thank you Massimo and Mila!

This was by far the best experience we had during our two weeks in Tuscany. Massimo and Mela were such fun to spend the day with. Massimo is so passionate about his tradition and it is contagious. Not only did we find truffles and enjoy some delicious truffle centric dishes, we also learned about the history and importance of truffle hunting and its future preservation. To top off an already amazing experience, Massimo had secretly worked with my boyfriend to plan a one-of-a-kind proposal. It was an experience we will never forget and we look forward to truffle hunting with Massimo again the next time we are in Tuscany.

We had a great time with Massimo and Mila his truffle hunting dog. We were a couple of two and he took the time to educate us throughout the process. He was very good and we later enjoyed meeting his father and his sister cooked an amazing lunch for us. We really enjoyed the whole process. Communication prior was excellent.

Really fun and enriching experience for the kids and adults. The kids loved hiking and hunting with Gerald, one of Massimo’s dogs. The adults loved the tasting experience. It was a wonderful family event. Massimo personalized it and made it unique and memorable for our family. Thank you!

Best meal I had in Italy! We drove over in a vintage car and went out to find truffles. Great experience. Geo pupper was excellent and hilarious. We found 3 black and one white. They even supplied some boots for us! We went to their property and his sister was readyt to whip up some food. A truffle meal. I was in heaven. Not sure why google wont find my food photos but trust me! The meal is worth the drive alone.

We had an amazing time with Massimo, his family, and his dogs. We learned a lot about truffles, and the experience was thoughtfully organized. Massimo even gave our group of 12 boots and shoe covers for the rain and mud. The lunch exceeded expectations and showcased truffle in there best way. Highly recommend if you like truffles, dogs, and the outdoors!
