This was the highlight of my trip to San Diego! You can see seals, sea lions, walk along the coast and dip your toes into the ocean. Make sure LA Jolla is part of your San Diego plans. Don't miss it.

Such a beautiful beach. Great trails. Perfect for a quick hike. You have to be careful, they are right of the cliffs. There are man made steps going down to the beach from the cliff. Beautiful view, especially close to sunset.

Pretty good beach. Can be really crowded, though it was not too bad when we visited.

Such a pretty area and a really nice beach and park. We went on a day of a surfing competition so it was pretty busy. Really nice beach to go check out!

Parking is free but it can be a hassle at times to find a parking spot without driving around the spots for a while or parking in the neighborhood. Make sure you pay attention to posted signs by parking. You will get a ticket if in a drop off or pick up zone.

My family and I love this beach. It's beautiful and clean. No trash, no stinky seaweed. Water is clear and waves are perfect. Many thanks to the lifeguards too for keeping everyone safe.

Great beach and very family friendly. Finding parking is going to be difficult once you hit 11am, but the beach is very nice and the lifeguard presence allows for peace of mind. The slope of the sand is very gradual, so there is lots of space for younger children to play in the water without having to go out far. Depending on the time of the year, stuff may float onto shore (think seaweed), but don’t let it sway you from not going.
