My brother and I wandered in here randomly one day last week for lunch. The staff was so nice and the food was incredible! They serve everything in these brown boxes, so it's so easy to transport. Great to dine in, but we'll be back next time for take-out.

Change the brown paper bag lunch to a brown paper box. You HAVE to try @eatporchbox ! They serve comfort food that doesn’t leave you feeling gross/heavy after and reminds you of an amazing home-cooked meal. This is the first google review I’ve ever written- and it’s because I had the most incredible experience at this establishment, and I truly believe everyone should try this place! I got the single box which comes with 1 main and 3 sides. For my main I decided to get the pulled chicken sandwich which was incredible. I love how they put the pulled chicken in a little container separate from the perfectly sliced bun so the bun doesn’t get soggy and spillage is reduced. For one side, I got mac and cheese and it was absolutely fantastic and well balanced. The cheese to pasta ratio was perfect- it wasn’t overwhelmingly cheesy and the pasta was also perfectly cooked. I also got the strawberry arugula salad which was delicious. I’m not a fan of arugula but it looked so tempting, and I’m so happy I tried it as I loved it. Can’t believe this place actually made me enjoy arugula. The salad was so fresh and light, and had so much flavor making it a great balance to the sandwich and Mac and cheese. I also had to get the brown butter roasted carrots as my last side, and it was fantastic. There was so much flavor and the carrots were perfectly cooked adding the perfect crunch to my meal. We ended with the coconut tapioca pudding, which was so delicious. It was so light yet creamy and had such a fresh taste of coconut. Everything was so fresh and seasoned perfectly. I don’t think you could go wrong with any option on the menu as all the options were phenomenal. They also offer so many options- I can’t wait to come back and try more of their specialties. This is the best go-to take out spot! They offer build your own boxes as well as balanced preset meals. The service was also outstanding, the workers are incredibly kind and are very helpful. Guy Fieri has supported this restaurant for good reasons- it’s amazing. In addition, you can’t miss it as it was ranked in Yelp’s top 100 restaurants in Orange County. For those days when you’re craving comfort food and you’re exhausted from your day- skip the fast food and come here, you won’t be disappointed. Genuinely found my new favorite to-go spot for a well-balanced, delicious, and comforting meal ◡̈

While there are not many vegan items (lots of vegetarian though) the customer service is amazing. I ordered off the vegan menu not knowing you need to specify. They were super accommodating and kind about making the change! The was so good and they even carry locally made items for sale! Will be back for sure!

I ordered a “make your own box”, including the roast lemon chicken, cornbread, carrots and cucumber salad. Amazing food - reliably yummy and hefty portions considering my box was only $15! Interior of restaurant was extremely clean and neat. Such a cute local place. The co-owner/co-founder duo, Amanda and Julia, are an inspiration!

Fantastic fantastic! Love the changing seasonal menu. Always such a great choice for dinner. Super affordable. Great staff. And options for everyone. The roast chicken is a must have. Corn bread too. Plus the seasonal salads and pastas are awesome.

Food was okay. My mom had the carrots which were Luke warm. On the other hand, the portion of pulled pork was generous, and it tasted good. The Mac n cheese wasn't very hot either.

This place is incredible! Wasnt even planning on grabbing dinner but was already in this shopping center grabbing boba when I saw this restaurant. Figured Id check their reviews and so glad I did. Lemon Herb chicken was phenomenal and so were the sides. Maybe the best potato salad Ive ever had. Was perfect for this summer weather. Do yourself a favor and add a honey butter to your order of cornbread, so freakin tasty! Great bang for your buck, Im a big dude and the "single box" was a ton of food even for me.

I love this independent restaurant. The food is so fresh and tastes delicious. Online ordering is very convenient to pick up at a later time. The price is great. I like how you can pick your own sides. The vegetable pot pie was delicious. It's perfect to take for a concert in the park or to the beach or even home when you don't wanna cook 😊

Just moved to Mission Viejo from Orange & saw this place online, read the great reviews and had to try it out myself. Best decision I think I’ve ever made! Every meal I’ve had from here reminds me of a thanksgiving dinner, homemade and delicious. Love love love definitely A Must try!

1st time here and I ordered a Loaded Mac & Cheese. It was really good. The portions are great for the price. They also cater trays or single boxes as well. Definitely would come back. Amanda was very helpful and answered any questions I had.

We did Door dash for pick up. I personally didn't care for the spicy sauce on the spicy green beans so if I order them again I'd get just the green beans, BUT that's a personal preference. The turkey pot pie was good especially because it was dairy free and I don't usually get to have dairy free pot pie. My family was impressed with the mashed potatoes. If you order a Bite Box it is a single side and a main. The Single Box requires three sides, which is a lot even too much food for lunch or a light dinner. (We were ordering online on DoorDash for the first time so we were confused about how to order just one side and one main but we eventually figured it out.) It was a good healthy lunch and I appreciated that they do dairy free food quickly. It was fast.

So good and great portion sizes! Taste like a high quality home cooked meal!
