Really enjoyed this new spot on Montana. Great coffee, salads and sandwiches. Setting is perfect - and the service is very good. Only question is how long the focaccia sandwiches will keep this place going.

Outstanding! Best authentic Italian I have had outside of Italy in years. The quality of the ingredients was out of this world, they use everything fresh from the deli, which makes every dish taste very fresh. We were lucky to also have live jazzy music from Robert, and Camilla, one of the hosts, was beyond friendly and accommodating. It's also dog friendly, which is a helpful plus, if you're in the lovely neighbourhood with your pet :)

Lovely place, fantastic food and wonderful service! The atmosphere and everyone working there were all very welcoming, it’s a cute boutique of Italian gourmets, deli and a restaurant with some seatings indoors and majority outdoors. The sandwich and salad were both fresh, well portioned and well seasoned, just the right amount of everything! The little dish of olives and white beans on the side of the sandwich was a nice delight! On our way out, one of the waiter shared they’re actually a big distributor of Italian ingredients to restaurants on both west and east coast.

A piece of an Italian Bar in Montana! Great for outdoor drinks in the summer and the charming indoor area that’s also a market when it gets a little colder. The staff is absolutely fantastic, accommodating, and generous. The place is worth visiting just to chat with them briefly. They’re also kid and DOG friendly! Food wise: I do wish they had pasta on their regular menu but the bread they use for their Tuscan sandwiches is perfection, the salads are always fresh and generous, and their olive selection is insane. Drinks: their wines are on the pricier side, but they are always very good and they’ll let you try them if you’re unsure, which is always a good sign! Pasties: excellent! They only place I know with pistachio croissants nearby.

Step into this little gem in Santa Monica and you'll feel like you've left the United States behind. With its Italian flair, this restaurant requires a passport to enter. Inside, you'll discover a delightful haven where you can purchase cold cuts and cheese directly from the producers. And don't miss out on their delectable pastries - their plain croissant is a must-try! The restaurant menu here is a true taste of Italy. If you've had the pleasure of visiting Italy before, you'll instantly recognize the authenticity that transports you to Tuscany. Be sure to ask for the fresh pasta al pomodoro (it's not on the menu), or indulge in the amazing scacciata or pizzeta dishes. While the service is excellent, please keep in mind that the relaxed pace of the South might mean it's a bit slower when the restaurant is busy. But believe me, it's well worth the wait.

While strolling down Montana in search of a lunch spot, I came across a charming restaurant with both indoor and outdoor seating with heaters. Upon entering, I was unsure whether to wait for seating or choose a table, but that's when the sweet waitress, Hannah, promptly approached and handed me a menu. Due to a bit of wind, I opted for indoor seating. After looking through the menu, I noticed they offered a lunch special with half sandwiches and soups. I ordered the Delicata and the red pepper pomodoro soup. Unfortunately, they experienced an issue with the microwave in the kitchen, and soups were not an option. Instead, I ordered the Rucola & Bresaola salad, which turned out to be just perfect. The Delicata was also delicious. Many thanks to Hannah, who was so attentive, Valeria, and the two gentlemen crafting sandwiches behind the counter, who made it a wonderful first experience at Sogno Toscano. Grazie!

The food was great and the staff had a thorolugh knowledge of differences in regional Italian cuisine. The ambiance was even enhanced by the beautiful live jazz guitar. Such a treat and gem on Montana street! Perfect for dates or an elegant meal after a busy day.

A lovely addition to Montana ave. I visited several times and everything I tasted was A+ including. - Bufalina Schiacciata, -Bolognese Schiacciata -Butternut squash pear soup - Red pepper pomodoro soup -Artichoke salad The patio is gorgeous and inviting. Perfect for a date, a meeting, or get together with friends & fam. They also have a well curated market inside if you want to bring some of the Tuscan magic home with you. Free Wifi too.

Fabulous new hot spot on Montana. Was very impressed by the details and the vibes. Felt like I was time warped to a cafe in Italy. The ingredients taste very authentic. Quaint Italian market. I am looking forward to buying their imported products and making Italian food at home.
