This property was still being used and lived in , in 1989.... so, everything was so well kept. The rooms were appropriately furnished for the time period it was built. The docents were kind and knowledgeable. You could almost feel and imagine what it was like to live there. One room, which was the only room there for 2 years, was the very first building in Vista. Great place for a small wedding.

This is a great place to hold a venue. To bad recently there has been some break-in's, with its historical part of Vista its a shame the city hasn't allotted funds for security cameras, they are putting a lot of money into the redevelopment of Vista Village that this Gem is overlooked. It has been the neighborhood adjacent to it that are always keeping a constant lookout. I am personally wanting to go looking for the replacement glass for these, but hopefully the city will step in and put the nessasary funds into it. It shouldn't be no more than $40 to fix the front lights over looking the front gates. And cameras also are very affordable these days.

Went here for a friend's wedding, and what a quaint spot! The wedding was small, about 150 people, and we had a mariachi band that was top-notch. Completely set the right ambiance and mood! The waiting area was on the side of when the buildings through a wooden door/gate and it had plenty of tree shade and a couple of bathrooms. When you walk through the large hallway to the main grass area, It's enclosed by the building, Spanish stucco, The space for several tables and a small dance area. For a small wedding, this place really worked!

Tour this adobe to get in touch with our California heritage. The educational activities are fun. The staff is welcoming. The grounds are beautiful. The museum, gift shop, art gallery, grounds and original adobe has so much to offer to folks of all ages. I like to visit every year. Weddings can be held here!

This is a fantastic wedding venue with lots of SOCAL history tied to it dating back to the Spanish-American war. The staff are super helpful, the grounds are very well kept and make a beautiful backdrop for wedding photos. Highly recommend.

Attended a wedding at Buena Vista Adobe, the atmosphere was serene. The outside courtyard was private and parking was available across from the venue.
