Fun, creative, globally inspired cuisine in a laid back, casual setting. The salmon tacos were delicious with moist, buttery blackened salmon complemented with crunchy cabbage, cilantro and a sweet and spicy sauce. It was aromatic with a nice balance of flavor and texture with Asian influences. Complemented with a side of fluffy, mildly sweet coconut rice. Will definitely come back.

Great food, great service, I will definitely be coming back, the food here is amazing! Food came quick, staff was nice, and they had a private-ish outdoor patio with a cool vibe. The burgers were some of the best we have ever had. The meat is fresh and delicious and the unique way of preparing the burgers adds to the character of the place. Highly recommended. This is gonna be my first stop next time I'm in La Jolla again.

Blackened Salmon tacos with slaw and coconut cilantro rice and the frecken awesome garlic chicken sandwich with pesto are amazing! Parm/garlic fries are perfectly balanced. Sorry about photos, we were starving.

Me and 2 others ordered the "Just a Forkin' Burger," the "Pork Fried Rice" and the Notorious P.I.G." I ordered the burger and it wasn't what I expected. I asked for it to be cooked medium, but it was a little too pink in the middle. I have to say that, without ketchup, the flavors were a little muddled. I feel like it needed some seasoning or something to freshen it up, as the tomatoes weren't able to. The Pork Fried Rice was kinda mushy. But, when we told the lady who took our order, she said it wasn't supposed to be like that, so maybe it was just our experience. The pork in the fried rice was not bad though. The Notorious P.I.G though, was pretty good. I think all it needed was a little bbq sauce and it was pretty alright. The fries had nice flavor but they were too hard on the outside in my opinion. One thing that I thought The Promiscuos Fork did pretty well was it's service. Overall, I don't think I would return, but if I did I would order something else. Keep in mind that this is just my experience and that it may have just been today that all these things happened.

Nice little eatery, enjoyed the outdoor seating and the host/server was really friendly. Food was solid, a lot of ways to do a burger wrong, not many ways to make it bomb. Wish we had one of these on the East coast.

Wow!!! 1st impression: 10/10. Inviting, staff was warm and welcoming. I told them it was my first time and they were very helpful. And most importantly, my food was AMAZING! The kimchi aioli on my blackened salmon bowl… wow! A perfect compliment of flavors. I will be back many times.

The food was just average. I asked for a medium rare burger, it was very well done. Nothing was seasoned.

The best jalapeño poppers we've had. The best forkin chicken sandwich is very good as are the brussel sprouts.

We do A LOT of traveling, and we love to find “hole in the wall” restaurants because we find these types of restaurants to have the best food. The Promiscuous Fork has a GREAT vibe, EXCELLENT food, and the service was very good. Our food pictured was the La Jolla Plate, Pork Belly Mac N Cheese, and the Salmon Bowl. I am allergies to coconut and cannot have Coconut Jalapeño Rice that comes in the bowl, so they accommodated me by substituting my Salmon Bowl with mixed greens instead. We would definitely go back if we travel back to this town again!!!

Unplanned lunch pit stop to the Promiscuous Fork, and so glad we made it. Kind of tight indoor quarters but cool outside seating area. If you’re a garlic lover then you will love the “yuk-mouth”. Buns were buttered and toasted to perfection. Wife had the carnitas tacos which loved so much that she wanted to go back for dinner. For burgers and tacos, the Prices were a bit on the high end side, imo (i’m a out of towner so these may be “regular” Cali prices) but it was all delicious and worth it.

So tasty! As soon as we walked in we were greeted. She was super friendly, helpful and welcoming. We ordered our food and dined in. So freaking good! Tasted really fresh and the flavors. This was a solid choice and glad we popped in. We will by again next time we are around.

This little gem was right down the street from your hotel. We ate there our first night and liked it so much we had it again on our last night! The La Jolla plate is delicious. It's a simple dish but very tasty (I ordered it both times). The chicken was moist and the rice had good flavor. It comes with a macaroni salad, which was good but I loved that rice so much that the second time I skipped the macaroni and had rice. My spouse had a burger one night and chicken tacos the 2nd time. He enjoyed both. It's a small place with limited inside seating but there are tables set up outside. The staff are very friendly and your food comes out quickly. Great little spot for a quick meal (but not fast food).

1st timer here! Amazingly delicious blackened salmon bowl, would highly recommend! Very small restaurant but fun atmosphere.

Loved the staff, very welcoming and friendly! The burger was just ok, store bought buns made of cardboard and soggy vegetables.

Small space with good food. My wife loves the lamb chops and the yuck mouth garlic burger is fantastic. Almost always find one of the regulars drinking a beer with a burger at the eat-up counter. Great local spot.

Really great food, tiny restaurant. We tried the poppers, beet salad and blue cheese burger, everything was fantastic, will definitely go again. Burger was cooked to perfection! Welcoming staff and a great atmosphere, even during these tough times! They are doing it right!

It's been a while since I've been here. It's a small restaurant that sits maybe 15-20 inside and a few seats outside along the window. I think if you come around 5-6pm it can be packed. Walk up to the counter and order your food. There are menu's as well as a large menu to view on the right side of the wall. The worker is a hustler. She was bussing tables, taking orders and delivering the food. Talk about a one man show minus the cooking. Food: Pork Belly Taco with Kimchee Aioli, Hoisin Ginger Slaw and cilantro served with coconut jalapeno rice. I also had a slice of "Kailua Pork Quesadilla." Hmm at first I thought it was Kalua Pork but the menu clearly says Kailua. Unfortunately the food was just ok. I will mention that the parmesan fries were delicious. And lastly, i ordered a buttered corn on the cob. Yummy! Overall a cute little place.

Usually not a fan of fat food, but this place was soooooo goood. The meat was grilled well, and the cheese was melting perfectly, and all the flavors were in the right places. It felt like a michelin star of the junk food, truly american while refined. I liked it. Would eat again.

I'm so obsessed with the Short Rib Tacos that I tell all of my friends that if they go to Promiscuous Fork, get the Short Rib Tacos and don't like them, I will pay for their tacos. I've never paid for anyone's tacos because THEY ARE THAT GOOD. Get the tacos, enjoy the atmosphere, and tip well, because they are the BEST! Also, I've been here multiple times and I swear, each time the food gets better and better!!!

The food is amazing! If it were a little bigger I'd give it a 5. Next time I'd order take out.

This place is awesome. I normally only rate a place 5 stars when it is a top foodie place, which you might wonder is it is. The food is rocking, and even if no amuse bouche I served first, don’t pass this place up if you’re in the area. We have eaten there several, times and are always happy.

Is it a dive spot? Is it a foodie spot? Is it a crazy hybrid?! Great tacos and the ceasar salad (spicy) is yummy. A little heavy so don't eat too much for before, but you'll enjoy what you have and the foods made with love. Definitely a local chill place.

That place rocks! The owners are amazingly fair to their employees and it is obvious the employees like the owners. Craig and Ana went above and beyond for our group and treated us like royalty. I highly recommend stopping in and enjoying the outstanding food. Oh, and the beer and wine top it all off.

Outrageous food! The Notorious P.I.G. sammie (sandwich) with baconaise was great. Brussel sprouts, too. We'll be back. Often.

Way underated. Little shop on the side of the rode, looks simple but you can tell they REALLY care about the product they produce. The food was well priced for what it was and the quality exceeded all expectations. I'd drive a good 3 hours just for this kind of food. Really well done!

They were extremely busy tonight with takeout orders and a couple really rude customers (a man who refused to wait in line for his takeout order and another man upset that his kids couldn’t eat food from a different restaurant on PF’s tables 🙄), BUT they handled it all super well and were very apologetic to other customers for the drama. The food was to die for per usual. Had the June Gloom burger for the first time and it was the best burger I’ve ever had. It’s my favorite foodie place in Southern California and probably always will be! Keep it up, Promiscuous Fork!
