From last year when I started visiting and joined membership with Spotlight Store I was amazed how much variety in store there is, I was excited about their money saving reduced prices and price offers on most or nearly all of their products in their store and sent to me via email and by post including their Art & Craft section since I’m interested in Drawing, Painting and Cardmaking. Their staff have been helpful, so far so good I have not experienced poor quality in their products as well as good customer service and I hope I never will. Please keep up the good work with selling good quality products and offering good n helpful customer service.

It seems like they are in the middle of doing some major Reno's here. So trying to find what you are after is a struggle but I'm sure when they have finished it will be amazing. It used to be great before the Reno's so it will be after also. There is a new entrance pretty much in the back end of the store now so the old one is no longer in use. Spotlight is a great place to get some amazing bargains. It's one of my favourite shops for curtains, blinds and bedding.

I went to Spotlight and I wanted to find a specific upholstery fabric for my couch. I was greeted by a young man named Riley who assisted me with the fabric. It wasn't on the shop floor and he went out of his way to find it in the back. Wish there were more friendly staff like Riley, definitely would recommend visiting this store 😊😁

Worst Spotlight with terrible service. If a person is rude and decides not to smile when serving customers, please put that person to warehouse. Terrible experience at this place. Very disappointed with the front desk cashier staff and the store manager. We have been a VIP member for over 6 years and this is the first time we are disappointed.

Pile them high, sell them cheap, but don’t expect knowledgeable, friendly, or prompt service. It is what it is, a big warehouse full of stuff. Despite its size, the range can be a bit limited and and samey, especially if you want something more specialist. But! If you want what they’ve got, it’s the place to go in Narre Warren.

The alteration to this store is not much of an improvement unfortunately and to get to the checkout means you have to walk through a maze which is utterly ridiculous given that i was the only person in the maze. This would also be very frustrating for disabled people or the elderly. Spotlight used to be a good store but now it is overpriced and staff unfriendly.

FOUNTAIN GATE STORE I bought a Cricut machine with lots of accessories today. 30/04/23. The service I received at the Party counter was exceptional, as I had no idea what to do or buy. I’m so sorry I forgot her name, but it started with “B”. She was so busy, yet so helpful. A true asset to spotlight. Thank you for you excellent service.

click and collect process isn't great here, as they have moved to self service options with only 1 checkout worker the line waiting to pay took forever (and it's the same line to pick up ur click and collect) so needless to say I waited agesssss because most customers didn't do self checkout.

The cleanest spotlight I have ever been to with the best customer service. I went in to find needles for a knitting project and was overwhelmed that I had picked something too hard and was getting upset. Kerry was so lovely and read through my pattern explaining the stitches and why I needed the different needles. I can't thank her enough for her kindness, as well as Kathy at the registers who made the sweetest conversation about my star Wars backpack. I wish this store was my local one and not an hour away!

Served by Jordan at fountain this morning, 10.45am, exceptional customer service. Need more young enthusiastic helpful people like Jordon. Well done.

Not enough staff at the checkouts. 2 PA calls for additional staff with no response. Cashiers don't know access codes for specialist transaction scanners causing further delays waiting for senior staff. Senior staff are required for sales returns authorisation and have to be called over PA and cashier staff have to wait until they attend which causes further delays and longer queue. The stressed cashier was apologetic and pleasant.

Terrible customer service, worst one I have ever experienced. The other stores are way better.

I had a wonderful experience shopping at Spotlight! The store offers an impressive selection of products, and the clothing section had a great variety of stylish and trendy options. What made my visit even more enjoyable was the exceptional customer service provided by the staff. The lady in the clothes section was incredibly nice and helpful. She patiently assisted me in finding the perfect outfit and even offered valuable style advice. Her warm and friendly demeanor made me feel welcomed and valued as a customer. I highly recommend Spotlight to anyone looking for a fantastic shopping experience with a team of dedicated and helpful staff. I will definitely be returning for my future shopping needs!

I had the worst experience ever with one of the staff members in the fabric section. She accused us of stealing the deflated balloon that they had put out as decoration. I had given it to my one year old grand daughter to keep her entertained while I shopped. This made me very angry and frustrated. When I spoke to the manager the next day she was very dissapointed and apologetic. I do enjoy visiting this store. Hopefully, this won't happen again to someone else.

I always find the staff so helpful and friendly. Lots of fantastic things to buy too!

it's a spotlight so everything's all the same but there's one super nice girl who was at the fabric cutting section (she has red hair but i forgot to remember her name 😮‍💨)

Initially I went to the Cranbourne home maker spotlight because I had previously bought balloons that I wanted to be filled and was turned away by a rude lady in the Cranbourne store so I decided to go to fountain gate spotlight to get them filled and they were extremely friendly toward me and did it, no questions asked. The ladies at the fountain gate store are so much better than the ones in Cranbourne store. I felt more welcomed here and I got exactly what I wanted without any hassle and such friendly customer service. The lady was so friendly toward my daughter and let her watch her fill the balloons too. If you want top customer service then you should come to the spotlight fountain gate. I also noticed that they had a wider range of everything and store was well organised and laid out. Thankyou to you lovely ladies who helped me out today. They definitely deserve a raise. Very happy with my visit and would 100% come here from now on.

Paid for items. Computer crashed. 20 minutes later was able to leave with items even though I had proof I paid on my phone. So called manager Catherine was rude and arrogant. Not interested in customer service.

DONT BOTHER. Stock mixed up, not sorted. 1 staff serving at register, 2 staff chatting at front door. Are they working or socialising? I figure the latter. Manager asks for more staff at registers, then disappears, and no one turns up to serve. Meanwhile, queue grows to around 15. If I could rate less than 1 star I would.

Massively understaffed and undertrained. Managed to flag down a 'floating' staff member who informed me she couldn't help because it wasn't her department and advised me to go to the dress counter. I waited 15 minutes to be served, where they told me they were out of stock, I was told they had stock at Bayswater. Found the other items I wanted, then waited 10 minutes in the queue at the front counters. I drove the 30 minutes to Bayswater, only to find they were also out of stock. Shopping at any Spotlight store is endlessly frustrating and needlessly time consuming.

The guy in the furnishings fabric was super helpful. I was not impressed though by all the Halloween decorations packed into the exit aisle. Believe it or not, not everyone (me!) wants to subject their kids to scary masks, props, ghouls and skeletons. I intentionally avoid the section of the store they are in. However when they are packed into both sides of the exit row that you must pass through to get out of the store, you don't give customers a choice about what they do or dont let their kids see. I think you need to reconsider this.

Customer service has gone downhill in my experience. Customers should always come first before putting material away. Then to be told " I didn't think you would mind waiting 20 seconds." by the lady who finally served me. Yeah I did mind actually. Did the roll of material spend as much as I did in the store that day?

Messy and massively understaffed. I walked around the shop for 15 minutes trying to find someone to help me find the two products that I wanted to buy. Eventually lined up at the desk and the staff pointed me in the right direction only for the products to be all over the place. After this I tried again to find someone to help me but absolutely no one around. Then to top it off there's a massive lineup at the registers which happened last time as well. Won't be coming here again.

I have been shopping at Spotlight Narre Warren for many years now and staff have come and gone over that time. A fabulous place to shop for any crafting, sewing, party, bedding, kitchenware it has it all. Just make sure you have a few hours up your sleeve when you call in.

Bad service. 9 registers, 7 patient customers and one staff member. Sooooo slooooow to get out of here. Would have been much quicker to go across the road to Bunnings

We visited on the day it was reopened after renos so it was very busy. It is a large store with everything u need. Amazing choice of beautiful patterned material. Great customer service even tho it was very busy.

Needed to get something for my sons school project, let's be honest I wouldn't have the any clue where to look for what I needed. This spotlight is massive, found a staff member who was more than happy to help me find what I needed even though it was reasonably busy..... or maybe it's like this all the time? Big thanks to staff.

I can always find what I'm looking for here and the staff are always friendly and ready to help. They are currently doing through some rework construction wise so if you're familiar with the layout, be aware things have moved around now. The entrance is more in the open now, and in line with a couple other sights. Parking can be a of a nightmare but is otherwise a great store.

Very large store and lots of product but we didn't see many discounts compared to online spotlight. The layout of the store is good and easy to move around but the register area is very congested and difficult to navigate unless you're getting 1 or 2 items. Their product scanner wasn't working and some items didn't have proper pricing labelled so that made it more difficult to determine pricing at times. Staff were friendly.

The new store layout is easy to follow, but had trouble reaching for sheets that were on the very top shelves. Would of better to have some on the lower shelf and keep the top for display only. Also extremely disappointed there were no disabled parking spaces at the new entrance and no ramp.
