Went in spontaneously after sampling some ales in the watering holes on Mansfield road. My new favourite Indian in Nottingham. Flabbergasting flavours. Great price. Friendly staff. It is actually the 🐐. ❤️🪷🍺🇬🇧🇮🇳🇧🇩🇵🇰🇯🇲🇫🇯

Have been dining here since 1985, always fabulous service, incredible value for money and what flavours! 5* Family run business who treat you like their extended family, couldn't ask for more. The fish tank continues to entertain the younger diner! Thank you for being a constant part of Nottingham's restaurant scene.

Been coming here for some years now. The staff are lovely. They always welcome us with a smile. The food is fantastic!! Definitely recommend people try this place. A very special thanks to Asan who always go above and beyond for customers. To Bappi, you have been wonderful. 😁 I'll never have biryani anywhere else.

First time back at our favourite restaurant in 6 months. Amazing food as always, even if the Madras blew his face off but the Lassi worked wonders. So good to be back there.

Came here at opening during Storm Babet. I enjoyed my eating experience here with cosy decor nodding to its 1970s founding. I had a bhuna with rice and a cobra. The bhuna was delicious and I regretted being a solo diner and unable to also sample the vindaloo keema. All the staff were warm and lovely and chatted with me a bit as the storm had warded off other punters.

Never disappointed when I got there. Very friendly staff, friendly to the limit I feel like family. Food quality is amazing and always surprised by how good the food is whatever my choices are. Best dining experience in Nottingham and one of the best places I visited in England!

I visited this restaurant based on the high reviews, but found the food to be average, by no means bad but just normal. I was also surprised that the waitress quite aggressively asked me to leave them a good review on Tripadvisor, which is something I hate. They run a very good value meal deal offer 7 nights a week, which I thought was great.

Amazing staff very attentive the food was delicious. First time here as I haven’t had a curry in over a year but today was the day I tried somewhere new and I’m happy to be a regular customer of this place! :)

The best dining experience I've had in the UK! I came in as a hungry customer and left feeling like a member of the family! A very full, satisfied member of the family! This small family operated establishment brings life and culture to the community! The service was amazing, but the delicious variety of food is what will keep you coming back! I recommend booking in advance with large parties as it suited us, but you can drop in as well! We had multiple dietary restrictions, which were all accommodated as well! I encourage you to be adventurous and ask for their recommendations!

Great food and great staff, even better than that the beer kept on flowing, you need to go here it's a gem in the city centre. For reference my main dish was the Naga lamb from the specials. Just as you would like a Naga dish, superb flavour and great chilli heat. Will go here again on our next visit to Nottingham.

Having spent over 2 years in Australia (where we are yet to find a decent Indian restaurant), a lot was riding on the meal my husband and I made every curry comparison with; Noor is still our benchmark for excellence. Having visited with family recently, Noor Jahan didn't disappoint. Great service and the food was still amazing. The set menu for 1 is highly recommended.

First time customer & won’t be the last order. Placed an order for collection and experienced friendly & polite service. Food was very enjoyable, great portion size & they didn’t hold back on spice. Authentic flavours.

The waiters are clean, accommodating and offer excellent customer service. The food portions are good, with delicious and balanced flavours. I would highly recommend the set dinner for 1 if you have a big appetite. Great quality food for an affordable price. The music and atmosphere is cosy, intimate and traditional, which made the dining experience even more immersive. This was our first time eating here but we will definitely be back.

Hidden gem!! This is the most excellent authentic Indian restaurant. We ordered the recommended specialities and were not disappointed. Everything individually cooked, absolutely delicious. The team are so kind and friendly, especially Joe!

Decent prices, the breads were nice and the staff were great. But sauces of the curries I had seemed to be 50% oil - which is a shame because the taste of the wide variety of ingredients which go into making a curry are smothered, and I'll probably have the runs...

Though the exterior of the restaurant looks a bit tired, the food and service were excellent. Prices were fair and there were no complaints from all 7 diners in our party. Nan bread was particularly good and my prawn Puri delicious. Great waiters ad well.
