Was staying in Whitechapel and whilst surrounded by good food, hopped across to here with a enticing menu for a birthday meal. What a find for us since we live in the sticks near Reading. Visits to London are a treat. We ordered the 3 bao for £12 of pork belly, fried chicken and duck in hoisin. Which is remarkable good value. Ramen was a dilemma so many to choose from but they allow additions so I went for the T22 pulled chicken and chicken skin scratchings (brill). I added pork belly. The baos were fluffy stuffed but delicately presented. Just great fillings and should be enough but the ramen calls you with the sesame seed grinder and chilli oil toppings compliments. The yuzu margarita is great drunk along with the food. Malted soft serve from the restaurant was much appreciated. The restaurant is a busy place load so takeout. They should do nationwide restaurant kits. Thanks to the restaurant great staff there.

Total score: 40/100 Not bad for a quick meal. Micro ratings Location: 3/10 Interior design: 5/10 Cleanliness: 3/10 Macro ratings Food (flavour and presentation): 14/30 Service: 5/20 Price: 10/20 Conclusion: We paid about £22pp without drinks. We had a variety of sides and mains, the “fried chicken was the highlight. Location was in an industrial estate and thus fairly quiet. Staff were unenthusiastic and did not cater to our needs (we had to ask for a larger table and faces were turned when we asked to refill our water jug). Tables were sticky and although the chicken was great the whole experience and meal was below average. Toilet artwork was amusing!

Any of the food ordered is prepared in view of all the customers, seemingly made "traditionally", and in high speeds, remaining hot upon receiving. Prices appear fairly low for the quality and quantity you get, with a nice selection of drinks to have. Staff are amazing, constantly tending to customers and checking up on those eating, and any persons to collect food to deliver are never in the way. The atmosphere is very warm and you can setting in quite nicely. We were sat on a high-seated table, however, there are seating at the expected regular height, like in other restaurants.

Great ramen restaurant, cool decor and an excellent pitstop on the Bermondsey beer mile. Staff were very friendly and welcoming too.

The place was a little difficult to find but thank God I didnt give up. I ordered the T22 with steamed broccoli with to-die-for yuzu kosho sauce, and both items were delicious! Authentic and wholesome food coupled with great service. Loved it!

Location: This place is a nightmare to find, nestled behind piles of trash and industrial eyesores. Feels more like stumbling upon a haunted junkyard than a restaurant. Ghost kitchen vibes, anyone? Service: Expect to wait longer than it takes for a sloth to cross the road. Time seemed to crawl as we eagerly anticipated any sign of life from the kitchen. Food Quality: The chicken starters were a cruel joke. The first bite transported me straight to a frozen chicken horror show—chewy and absolutely revolting. Complained, got a replacement that was equally tragic, and surprise, got charged for the privilege. Inedible doesn't begin to cover it. Main Course: The ramen, oh the ramen, was just about average. After enduring the ordeal of the starters, it was like a mediocre consolation prize. Hardly worth the agonizing wait. Overall: Save yourself the misery. This Bone Daddies branch is a disappointment factory. Would not recommend unless you're a fan of culinary horror stories.

Finding this place is a little difficult, but think of it as an adventure. It definitely adds to the hidden gem vibe this place gives off. The staff and atmosphere are both top notch, no notes. The food was great but for one small thing. The chashu was the one thing that needed some work. It was more like plain boiled pork belly and didn't seem to have the flavors of a marinade or the texture from braising which you typically expect. Overall the food was in no way bad and I would 100% eat there again. If you like ramen, I promise you won't regret eating here.

I went here for a quick dinner on my own before a gig, and I thought it was gonna be decent, but I left rather disappointed. I have reviewed many a ramen restaurant from all types of Asian cuisine around the world...but this has to be by far the worst one! I went for the pork Tonkotsu (The Original) and yes it was original...but for all the wrong reasons. The dish came, and just on sight I could tell it was lacking broth in terms of quantity. I put the ladel in and my first taste of the broth is 2/3 oil, and the next ladel, and the next! I was shocked. It was greasy and just coated the inside of my mouth with fat that hadn't been skimmed away during the cooking process..I couldn't explain it. I didn't even finish the broth it was that bad...the best part of the dish, ruined! You can even see from my picture that it just doesn't look right. It was a shame, seen as the pork was nice and tender, noodles good the egg and veggies all fine...but you can't screw up the best part for me. The rest of the dish saves it from getting 1 star. I don't think I'll bother going there again tbh. So, if you're a broth lover like myself and in the area, I'd leave this place out....there's probably better places in the area. Service was fine and as expected.

Great place for Ramen. Was greeted at the door by a very friendly and cheerful waitress. She was helpful with suggestions on the current “specials” and knowledgeable about the options. Service was above and beyond your typical “restaurant” service.

For me it was ok, personally I wouldn't go back because I think it's very expensive and the quality could be better. This is my personal opinion I'm sure other people like it a lot based on the other reviews. I enjoyed the chicken wings the most, the ramen wasn't to my taste unfortunately and the bao buns really weren't my favourite.

Never dissapoints, reliable a firm favourite. Sometime I don't even have ramen just sides and starters R.I.P to Pig Bones and Bones Daddies cider you will never be forgotten (IF YOU KNOW YOU KNOW). Service always friendly and hospitable. Star of the show today was the finger licking Korean Fried Chicken. Tried the bone daddies IPA which was refreshing and tasty. Eat the food before I thought to take pictures, criminal I know.

I don’t know how to use chop sticks but the food was amazing and they took it in turns to feed me. Highly recommend.

First time I order a take away from Bone Daddies all my previous experience was based on visits to different locations. I was gladly surprised by the buns. I was afraid they were not going to travel good and would become soggy. I was completely wrong. The texture and flavours were perfect. I had the Yuzu Tonkotsu ramen and even though the flavour was great I think the portion was smaller than the one I usually get at the restaurant. Nevertheless it was a great take away.

Ramen was absolutely divine, the wings were cooked perfectly crisp on the outside but soft tender chicken inside, and staff were very polite and very accomodating. Only reason for 4 stars is because trying to find the site can be a little daunting as there aren't many signs or advertisements, and it's tucked a little out of the way.

Nice ramen place nestled in a corner of a self-store complex. Good service and both the traditional tonkotsu and chicken broth taste great. We were served very quickly after placing our order. Note that this is a cashless business.

The food here is so good, so much flavour. We ordered the edamame black pepper wings, the pork croquettes, tater tots and the tokyo chicken ramen- all were so delicious! We also received great service from Fathia, thank you! We will definitely be back

Good little hide away bone daddies spot. Great atmosphere, amazing service and the food is top notch. Yuzu frozen margaritas are the bomb!

Nice ramen joint tucked away in an industrial estate. Friendly efficient staff. I had the collab special of seafood boil with chicken broth, which was tasty. A bit pricey but worth it.

Staff here are so nice and friendly. We were pleasantly surprised to be offered a complimentary drink after the yummiest of Tonkotsu bowls. Highly recommend this little hidden gem, for the best Japanese in Bermonsey!

Kami was a fantastic server, she helped me decide on which Ramen to choose as well as introducing me to the chef who was passing through as I wanted to know a bit more on the process. I wish I knew about this location sooner!

The location is pretty difficult to find because Google maps makes it a bit difficult but this place is seriously a hidden gem, we had a bit of an issue with the service we got when we entered, the manager was a bit rude and we had to wait outside in the cold because they had too many orders (even though we could see places to sit inside) but it was all worth it when the food came. It was some of the best ramen that I have ever had. I highly recommend Bone Daddies because of the great food but maybe one of the other locations has a bit more space and better service

Definitely a little bit over priced! BUT some great options for all types of diets. I had the mushroom no bone broth as I’m veggie and it was yummy! Also had their margarita, a little on the sour side, but still tasty and refreshing (: the service was great, the restaurant has a nice modern vibe. Went with a group of 8 and they attended us in a good manner and good wait time!

Amazing food, speedy service, great vibe! Our server (Kamola?) was utterly charming. Worth the trek from Lancashire!

Have wanted to try Bone Daddies for a while. Location is difficult - you have to walk past an industrial laundry and then down a (dark) alley. I took a look and my courage failed me, so I waited for my friend to show up. Food was variable - noodles great and broth tasty, but the broth was also lukewarm. The chicken wings were juicy but also lukewarm, and the Korean BBQ sauce was nothing special. Service was excellent - attentive, friendly, cooperative. And because of the location we didn’t have to queue, which is a bonus. Value wasn’t bad. £14 for ramen is about standard for London these days, but £8.30 for three wings is a bit much.

This is perhaps on the lower 4* but still worth a visit. It was hard to find, we made a whole loop to find it as Google maps led us to a closed off road. Despite that, it was busier than expected when we arrived, but we still managed to find a spot on Friday evening without reservation which was good The prices are average and so are the portions. I'm not sure it's fully authentic, it seemed more like fusion to me, but the taste was good. The sparkling sake tasted great too. There's 1 unisex toilet, it was kept clean when we went.

I usually go to Bone Daddies in Soho but the one in Bermondsey has become one of my recent discoveries. Instead of their tradition staple - ramen - we opted for buns. I really liked their broken egg one and the one with aubergine and salmon. Though the service was a bit slow, it’s still a great little place to finish or start your Bermondsey beer mile.

Really great ramen, definitely among the top two for me in London. Got the vegan one, the broth was amazing and was able to add the chilli paste to get the extra kick. Good portions, and a decent amount of veggies. The service was quite bad though. The waitresses were inattentive, didn’t get us water after we asked for it and only did when we did a second time around, didn’t know the menu well either and felt that they didn’t really want to be working there. If they can get the service part sorted, would definitely make it a 5.

This place is tucked away where you'd least expect to find it! Walk down past the bays and you'll see the restaraunt at the end. In here you'll find the warmest greetings from the friendliest staff, then get to enjoy thee BEST bowl of ramen!! We're visiting from Canada and you bet we will be eating here again before we leave London!!

Amazing broth which completely blew my expectations, especially compared to the other chain ramen shops in London. The noodles and toppings were about average, and ultimately letdown the delicious broth. Service was nice, and the toilet decor is very interesting…
