Absolutely love this building at night. Just looking at it has a strong calming effect. And there was a hedgehog just hedgehogging about. Love it.

Very interesting elaborately built church which has the 3rd tallest tower in England. Quite a lot of the grave stone engravings remain very clear to read even though a lot of the stones are late 1700s to the 1800s. Many baby and child deaths despite they being from relatively affluent families. Well worth a visit. St Elphin is considered as the patron Saint of Warrington and was around in the 7th century.

A church that has stood the test of time. Battled scared from the English Civil War. As good as any other church in the region.

Truly beautiful church with a wonderful reverend. Had my little girl's funeral here a few years ago. They also have a memorial service around December each year which is lovely.

The outside of the church was a little worn and dreary, but walking into the building itself you can just feel the history of the building and the people who love it. I felt welcome and enjoyed just being there would have loved to actually attend a service.

Lovely place to visit , even played there as a child since I was 11 years old , been up on the warkway above the clock , climbed the winding staircase , and stood under the pengalem that makes sure the churches steeple doesn't lean or fall , the local vicar was lovely , hay what a view .

A great church with lots of history to back it up. A very well attended church serving Warrington since the 8th century, it is the third version as it stands, with the first church being made of wood.

We only explored outside but what an amazing building! You can just feel the history! So amazing to know that my ancestors have been this church and it probably hadn't changed much since they did.
