WOW WOW WOW....just had a fantastic lunch here today. Totally bowled over by both the menu choice and daily specials, it was difficult to choose what to have!! The eaterie is spotless and all the staff were both friendly and approachable. I was very surprised the bill was so reasonable for the standard of food eaten. I cannot wait to return very soon.

We ordered 1 sweet and 1 savoury Afternoon tea but there was enough for 4 people. We took some of the leftovers home for later and there is still some left. Great quality and quantity of food along with lovely friendly service equals a perfect afternoon.

Thoroughly enjoyable experience. Really nice building, beautifully decorated for Christmas, real character. The team served us late in the day on a Sunday. The choice was great with some lovely sounding dishes. A lot of patrons were having the afternoon tea which looked fantastic (another time). Service was really friendly and the food was excellent. Thornbridge AM PM ale on draft was exceptional, fresh tasting and crisp. Had the pie and chips with gravy and mushy peas - tasted great and generous portion size. Daughter had chilli which was also very good. Another time will try the cakes which looked very tempting. Overall was superb and will definitely return. Highly recommend

I called with my mate whilst on a ride out on our motorcycles, parking was easy and the food was very good and we were full after having the breakfast with added black pudding. The waitress was very friendly but kept peeping at us round the corner, whether it was to see if we required anything or to check we hadn't run off I don't know but it felt like the latter to me. Whereas the breakfast was good we had drunk our coffee well before our breakfast turned up, the waitress offered us a top up on the coffee which we accepted only to find we were charged another three pounds each for an extra coffee! Whereas the food was good but the overall cost of £37.75 for two breakfasts I do find a bit on the steep side.

This is one of the best cafe/restaurant you could ever go to. The food is top quality made with the best quality ingredients and the full English breakfast is amazing. The cakes they serve are incredible. The owners are great guys, really friendly. It can get busy though. If the weather is nice you can sit outside at the front and watch the world go by. You can book ahead if you have a party of people perhaps for the afternoon teas. Ps... the eggs were double yolkers!

I had my 40th birthday get together here in September and went in again today. The afternoon teas are amazing, both savoury and sweet are fresh, plentiful and very tasty, Service is always friendly and very good. It certainly is the best afternoon tea in Derbyshire I highly recommend 👌

Small coffeeshop in Cromford. The staff is super friendly and the coffee is very good. We had poached eggs with avocado and they come well presented and with side cherry tomatoes. Hot chocolate with marshmallows is also to die for. Good stop on the way.

I had a full English breakfast today. When it came, it was piping hot, which is fantastic. This is about the 4th time we have eaten here, and each time the food is great, and so is the atmosphere. I have also bought cakes to take away. I definitely recommend the food here.

We ate here for breakfast whilst staying at Gullivers Kingdom. The food is absolutely fantastic. Better than a lot of high end restaurants where we live in Lincolnshire. So good we went back two weeks later.

To the owner: I am writing this review as I cant find any other place to do it,. I had one of the best vegan breakfasts at your restaurant last Wed. It was hot, it was tasty, and the spinach pancake was fabulous. Also ,the first place ever to bring margarine to the table instead of butter! Please add your place to 'Happycow', so more vegans know about you.

Parkys, SERIOUSLY THE BEST AFTERNOON TEA EVER! We visited for my sisters birthday and throughly enjoyed a Christmas afternoon tea. We had afternoon tea for 3 people so chose 1 savory and 2 sweet. NOTHING to fault! It was absolutely delicious! Plenty to choose from and boxes to bring home what we didn't eat (there's so much, we couldn't eat it all) We've had afternoon teas else where but never as good a quality as Parkys! Cannot recommend highly enough! 👌

Absolutely delicious high quality afternoon tea. So glad we booked it here! The sandwiches were so full and so fresh tasting. The cakes were just stunning. The Lemon posset was absolutely divine. Loved the unlimited tea and coffee. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and everything was done to perfection. First experience of an afternoon tea and definitely not disappointed. Would highly recommend and would return

Rob, who served us, was the most kind hearted, caring, loving, caring waiter we’ve ever had. Came for my Mums birthday and he made us feel so so special. Really expensive but very well executed,good service and plenty of filling/ingredients,so I have to say I didn't mind paying would go again.

Visited on Saturday afternoon. Even though staff were very busy, we received a very warm welcome and they managed to find a table for us. Thank you! Enjoyed tea, coffee and scone with all the trimmings. Highly recommended. Would definitely return.

Fabulous afternoon tea, both traditional and savoury. Far too much for a quick trip… take it leisurely! They don’t rush you and the service is spot on! Highly recommended, but don’t tell everyone… I struggle to book in as it is it’s that good!

Clearly, a lot of people enjoy eating here and the cream tea being served to the table next to us looked super, however, I felt our food fell below par for the price charged. Mine was mushrooms on a piece of toast, one very small piece, taste wise the mushrooms were nice but it really needed more bread and for £9 , I didn’t feel it was value. The staff were very nice.

Really enjoyed our breakfast. Lovely food, lovely staff, and they sell nice farm shop produce too. I would certainly recommend based on this visit. Place lived up to its name though on this February morning, I kept my coat on much of the time!

Called in here as we were passing through. What a gem and highly recommended. I had the Eggs Benedict and my wife had Scrambled Egg and Cheese on toast (usually comes on Oatcake but they happily changed it for her) . Everything was cooked to perfection. The coffee was lovely. The young lady who served us was also lovely. A relaxed and very friendly atmosphere. Loved it. Thank you to all concerned.

Visited today with 2 friends for the afternoon tea. Absolutely beautiful , couldn't find fault with anything . Well worth a visit , and will be going again soon 🙂
