I do not recommend this place, it is lousy in its service. The attention in the clinic is very slow and they take too long to give the results. Today I went for a rapid COVID test, it's been 1:30 an hour and so far I haven't received the results. I tried to communicate by phone and it's impossible, they only answered me by text message and apologized for the delay. I always go to CityMD I recommend them, the service there is professional and fast.

Such a great place. Clean and efficient :) great staff and my attending PA Cory was amazing!! ^ THIS was my first review. How times have changed. What the hell happened to this place?! Utterly disgusting, random homeless looking lady drags her kids in to use the coffee machine, staff doesn’t say anything. Appointment was at 2pm. I left that place at 4 pm. 2 HOURS JUST TO BE STUCK IN A ZOOM CALL WITH A KID IN BRACES. At least let the patient know that there’s delay. Don’t just let them sit there for hours wondering what’s going on. And the entire time your receptionists and nurses are having fun laughing and howling. Rarely give out reviews. But this was an utter disaster. Don’t go here. Ever.

Very bad service. Don’t go there. The front desk person absolutely doesn’t know what she’s doing. She didn’t tell me that I have to pay separate bill for lab now I received loan invoice and they making me pay for it.

Waited over a hour to be seen for my appointment even though I had arrived early and other people who arrived after me were seen before me. Staff were slow, uninviting and unprofessional. When I arrived the lady at the front desk didn't even acknowledge my arrival, I understand it is a busy time but a simple "hi there, I'll be with you as soon as I can" goes along away. My 'provider' a male who I'm not sure was actually a doctor had a manner that was unwelcoming and did not make me feel as though he had any idea what he was doing. I was given a covid test and told it was positive and told that my symptoms were from the covid virus. My symptoms were strep throat/ tonsilitis which I had told three staff members I have had frequently in the past so I am aware of what strep throat looks and feels like for me and if my provider had taken more then five seconds to look into my thoath properly and seen the awful swelling and infection that was there he would have diagnosed me properly and I would not have had to fight for a antibiotic. His manner was uncaring and that of someone who could not care less about the pain and stress their patient was in. He passed off my serious strep throat as just the covid virus and told me 'oh well when the virus passes your throat will probably get better you know'. He was aware that I could just about swallow and I was finding it hard to talk because the pain and swelling was so bad. He misdiagnosis me and was reluctant to actually give me a antibiotic to treat my strep throat. I was offered a rapid strep test for my throat but any medical professional would have been able to see and diagnosis it without any testing. Billing- I had no issues paying the $150 upfront for the appointment my issue came during and after my appointment. I was told I had to do various tests and never told the cost for them, I declined them but did accept the covid test which I was told was positive. On returning home from my appointment I did covid test at home which came back negative, no surprise as I have zero faith in the service that I was given by the clinic, but I was still charged $50 for a covid test even tho I had been told any test that I took if they came back negative I would not be charged for them. Was this just a extra scam to get more money from me ? Coming from the medical field myself I can sympathize with this time of year being busy and difficult but the level of unprofessionalism was stifling and quite frankly scary, I at least had a voice to stand up and advocate for myself and not allow a misdiagnosis but I feel for those who have a trust in your practice and who are none the wiser when they do not receive the correct care

Pro-tip: don't schedule an appointment for 9am, the staff won't arrive until 9:30am. Other than the lateness and somewhat oddly specific questions from the virtual medical scribe, I have no major complaints about this place. The PA took care of me quickly and I was out of the door promptly. Just don't expect anyone to be there at 9am nor for the doors to be open at that time or you will be waiting outside in the cold.

Every time I go the reception have attitudes. Asked for a medicine change. Told me they would get back to me and they never did. Asked for a time to set up an appointment for me. They called me on the wrong date and time to tell me I missed their appointment. The receptionist written it down and yet they called me wrong time.

Hello my is Joel and I went to NAO MEDICAL to do a drug test for a city agency. The level of professionalism and cleanliness of the facility was impressive. I only wish that there were closer to my home. However, great service.

I seldom write online reviews for anything, but I had to take a moment to recognize the staff at Nao Medical in LIC. The staff is incredibly warm and professional, from the check-in desk to the exam room. I've been working with Cory German, who is honestly one of the best doctors I've ever worked with. I first went to him with a health issue (and a pretty embarrassing one.) Cory took his time explaining what happened and offered me multiple options for treating it, carefully explaining those as well. Then he moved to my overall chart and ordered blood work, essentially conducted a mini-physical and offered to be my PCP if I didn't have one. I'm lucky to live very close to the clinic, but I would go out of my way to see Cory and the rest of the staff at Nao LIC.
