DO NOT WORK WITH THIS LOCATION!!!! I called several times a day for 3 days in a row to see why my prescriptions were not being filled and no one ever answered the phone. I was very sick and did not have the energy to go into the store everyday. I walked in on a Sunday after being on hold with the store for 30+ minutes and there were 3 people behind the counter chatting and gossiping while the phone rang and rang. I asked why they weren’t answering the phone and they said they were too busy. I asked if they could help me find another CVS who did have my prescription in stock and they said they were too busy. I pointed out that I had already waited 6 days while I was very sick for my prescriptions to be stocked and the girl rolled her eyes at me and then resumed chatting with her coworkers. This is dangerous and they put my health and healing at risk. They aren’t busy, they just do not care! I called the nearby store in Edgewater and they picked the phone up immediately, they were incredibly friendly and helpful and I was able to get my prescriptions in under 30 minutes. Someone should shut down this location, the employees are useless and do not care about anyone but themselves. It makes me wonder if they did have my medications in stock and were just too lazy to fill them! Will NOT be back.

James Sharp, the pharmacist at this location has a plethora of complaints against him. He’s unprofessional, combative, unkind and everything a medical professional should not be. James shouldn’t dispensing medicine and he berated multiple customers just within my sort time at this location. He’s been here for 6 years and clearly this store is so short staffed they allow it. Check the reviews here to see more. This pharmacy never answers their phone, this is not an exaggeration-and if you go in person you can expect an hour wait each time. This location should not even be open and I have been a CVS customer for 20 years.

Alex, Nick, Carla, we’re working at the pharmacy. I can’t believe how quickly they served everyone in line. They provided excellent customer service. They had some of my favorite items including Mid Nite and Vicks Kleenex. So thankful this place was open 24 hours for those of us who have abnormal schedules.

Changed my prescription to something I'm DEATHLY allergic to - TWICE. Never asked me, nor my Doctor, about changing the medication. They didn't bother to TELL ME they changed it, either. Good thing I check all my prescriptions. They seem determined to get someone killed. Then they attempted to tell me that "it's not possible" to get a Prior Auth for the med I'm NOT deathly allergic to.... which is an outright lie. Go ANYWHERE else. Your life may literally depend on it. I now know that mine does.

This is my local CVS and I am on their medication plan through insurance. Needless to say, the service has declined recently. I went yesterday for a script that I had been texted the day before indicating, it would be ready that night (d1). When I get there yesterday, I was informed that the script was not yet ready and to come back in 45 minutes (d2). Note, I asked the person at the drive through window if I should expect a notification via text when the script was ready and they indicated that the system didn't work well so he "doubted it". I went back today (d3) to pick up the script and the same person was working at the window and indicated that it wasn't ready again. I informed him that he had told me yesterday that it would be 45 minutes and hence, I planned to wait until it was ready today. I waited for about 20 minutes without him coming back to provide an update and he was pretty rude upon handing me the script. I said thank you to a blank stare. If the managers of the store are looking at reviews, i would suggest 1) fix the system so people can rely on notifications, 2) make sure employees are providing accurate information and 3) task your employees to treat others as they would like to be treated. If I wasn't tied to CVS via insurance, I would no longer patronize this store.

Filled my prescription fast in person. Tried calling ahead of time, was on hold for 40 minutes, while on hold, i drove there and no one was inline. This seems like a more in person place and not a call ahead. They mentioned they aren’t properly staffed either.

Avoid this place like the plague. They’re impossible to work with. My prescription has been “processing” for 3 weeks. Somehow managed to get them to pick up the phone. Said they’d have it ready in an hour. Never filled it. Been on hold 3 different times for an hour each since. A few months before I moved to a new area and begged them to transfer my prescription. They wouldn’t and hung up on the other pharmacy. I had to drive 4 hours to get it.

So I’m glad I didn’t drive to this location. I mean after every review with people complaining about the store hours are not as advertised, you think they’d change something? So the drive thru pharmacy is open 24 hours. But don’t be fooled into thinking you will be able to talk to the pharmacy on the phone without having to wait 15 min on hold. That’s not an exaggeration. Upon asking the pharmacy if they do OTC medication I was met with an abrupt “No.”immediately after was told “very limited over the counter medications.” What “very limited” means is if it’s in stock in the store, I’m assuming not more than 10-20 steps away from the pharmacy counter, but it’s not in direct reach of the pharmacist then you’re not getting it. Only gave more than one star because despite waiting 15 minutes, someone actually picked up the phone. They were all but useless, not really customer service oriented, and seemed relatively bothered that i was even calling. Oh well, Walgreens is better anyway

I can not believe this pharmacy is still open. I am a prescriber. They refused to take verbal orders from medical support staff at my office. As of now, i have been on hold for at least 40 min. Im not even trying to prescribe controlled substances. Talk about delay in pt care. Providers, please avoid this pharmacy like the plague. I urge you to go elsewhere. It is a complete nightmare. Just look at all the reviews.

I came with my dog, didn’t want to leave her outside because area can be little sketchy sometimes. I ask for help so I don’t have to walk around with my pooch out of respect for other customers in the store. The person that helped me went above and beyond absolutely understanding my situation, they brought me extra items so I can choose which one actually I want. Such a sweet spirit and excellent customer service!

The pharmacists assistance (red hair and beard, didn’t catch his name) was so very helpful and kind. I had been waiting for a prescription and he pushed it through quickly and was super helpful. When you are sick and want the meds to feel better it is always so appreciated when someone recognises that and makes things move quickly. Thank you!

The staff is rude. They were understaffed tonight, and the worker was SO RUDE. She was telling people to go elsewhere for their prescriptions, because they were getting tired of waiting after over 30 minutes in line. 30 minutes in line only to be told to go elsewhere?? How absolutely ridiculous!! I'm going to tell e1 just how awful this place really is.

So this has been my go-to pharmacy. It's always busy....they do a good job. I was annoyed that sometimes they don't answer the phone, but I think it's because they need more staff. Also I was just notified that the DRIVE-THRU is back to being 24 hours. They also used a coupon to help me lower the cost of my prescription that wasn't covered by insurance.

I made a 6:30am appointment for a vaccine. I showed up on time and the pharmacist said they are only giving vaccines to people with appointments at 7am but also can’t give appointments to anyone after 7am….while she sat there and GAVE A VACCINE. She turned me and another customer away saying she had too many prescriptions to fill. Meanwhile, we’re the only ones there. She was very rude and I don’t understand why I was able to make an appointment in the first place. All she said was, the system is messed up. She was very rude.
