Only giving 2 stars because the room was clean & bed was okay. Water didn’t get hot, just warm. If you want amenities, don’t stay here. There was no breakfast (supposedly because it was a holiday) but we were told there would be upon checkin. The pool & weight room were closed, and so was the bar that was advertised. And the hallways smell like old food. Very disappointed. Especially since I had 3 other couples book rooms here. Will not be staying again.

Honestly, I never write reviews. But the amount of trouble that I’ve had being 19 and trying to find a decent hotel to stay in has been hell. However, this is this exception. Staff is super sweet, reservations are easy, check in was easy, and the rooms are CLEAN and comfy! Exceptional stay!! (We undid the bed to check for bugs, it was made prior and no bugs thank GOD.)

I've stayed here for 3 different stays of multiple days in the past month, this time a 4 night stay in a row. They didn't come to clean my room a single night I've stayed here. If you want shower pressure that you can barely feel and come back to an unmade bed and your same dirty towels every day requiring you to ask for new ones, this is the place for you. I don't ask for daily but over a 4 night stay, you better come in at least once. Glad I didn't go for a monthly rate the next 3 months. Never again.

The pool was closed even though reservations said it was open. The rooms were dirty - I don't think they moved the bathroom doors when cleaning. The walls had splatter on them. The faucet wasn't secured to the sink. I called housekeeping for an extra sheet and blanket, but they never brought one up. The lobby was nice and the front desk was friendly.

Discussing!!!!! We were here for work and we needed to stay for a few days. THE MOMENT we walked into this hotel, you instantly knew it's NOT kept up. Our room was so bad I did NOT want to touch ANYTHING! Dirty hand prints on walls, floors are not vacuumed. Lamp shades have stains. TV remote had hair and food stuck to it. The bathroom had hair on floor and stains in the sink. Drapes had black hand marks on them. Bed covers had yellow stains. They can't even use proper extension cords and make sure they are tucked away... Possible bed bugs.... (I say this because of blood on sheets) did not see bugs. However, I definitely wouldn't put it past this place. I don't know where the rest of these reviews stayed.... but could NOT be at this location.... does NOT deserve even one star...

The room & bathroom were nasty. Just updating furniture, but not painting or cleaning is a waste of money. TV remote didn't work. Every ice machine & vending machine were unplugged/not in service. We had to walk to the gas station to get a bag of ice!

I usually never leave bad reviews but I just don't want anyone going through what I went through when I stayed here. The front desk guy was nice, but told me they had no laundry machines, which they did on the 4th floor. Found out 2 days too late. Vending machines were not operable on any floor so I hope you come prepared with drinks and snacks. The smell in the halls and rooms was unpleasant. The bathroom had NO toilet paper on the rolls, and only one unopened roll tucked deep behind the towels where you couldn't see it. The bedsheets were covered in pee stains. I slept with no comforter because I was so grossed out. The AC is extremely loud, the TV is hardly functional, it lags. Hotel needs an update for sure.

While it was clean so many things wrong! Pool and restaurant closed, computers in business center not working, leaking sink faucet and shower head in the bathroom, channel guide didn't work, toilet lever stuck when flushing, no exhaust fan in the bathroom. Workers hanging out at the front entrance smoking was disgusting to walk through the area. This hotel needs an overhaul!! Would not recommend unless desperate.

Cautionary note: Although this hotel promotes an airport shuttle service, it's important to note that this service operates with limited availability and necessitates a shuttle reservation made 24 hours in advance of pickup. My recent experience was that my flight encountered delays, arriving at 5:30 PM instead of the scheduled 3:00 PM. Despite my call to the hotel, I was informed that no shuttle was available as the driver had a prior evening appointment. Furthermore, arranging a shuttle back to the airport the following day also was not possible. It's prudent to factor in the cost of alternative transportation, such as Uber, when considering this hotel. The reliability and convenience of the advertised 'airport shuttle' is questionable.

My family and I had took a trip to Ohio- not knowing the location and area I wanted to make sure it was decent and clean. Reviews their ratings and pictures looked good. After driving 9 1/2 hours that night- we pull up and I was highly disappointed. This location is tucked in a back corner. Their roof to the front entrance was torn off in the corner, people sitting on the outside of the building - in a group. Only one elevator worked and that one was extremely unstable. The smell marijuana was strong, even in the parking lot. You’d walk outside and that’s all you’d smell. The room was pretty clean- the bathroom fan didn’t work. There was no lock on the bathroom door nor could you close it. A big whole in the wall where the shower head was exposed. No ice machine on the floor we stayed on- had to go all the way to the front desk. (We were on the third floor) the drink machines were also not working on our floor. Breakfast in the mornings were fairly good if you like water with your food. They did not provide milk, juices, coffee, drink. (their juice machine was out of order) the pool was closed for “maintenance “ which was strange because it’s the middle of July. When I went to get additional Linen towels I was given 2 and when I asked for a third for me, my husband and our 15 month old, I was told they were all out and the towels were slightly damp. The pictures do NOT look anything like the hotel in Englewood. Not family friendly

We hosted an event here and it was fantastic!!! The staff was helpful, friendly, and went above and beyond to make sure everyone was happy! The rooms were clean and comfortable! The pool and bar was a awesome added bonus! We will definitely be using The Clarion Englewood again! Thank you!!

This hotel is in the process of changing from Clarion to Quality Inn. Place must have been much better under the Clarion ownership because it’s an absolute dump now. Outside of the building is dirty and unkept, grass needs mowed, trash on the sidewalk around the building etc. The genera condition of the building is poor. One of the elevators was broken (not a big deal). A hallway in the first floor was flooded with water from some type of leak that nobody cared about fixing or blocking off. The attached bar and grille still has signs but is no longer there. Instead it’s just a bar that’s happy to charge you $10 for a $3 freezer pizza. I walked into the bar looking for where to order food. The lady that “works” there was more interrupted in her stupid cell phone game than doing her job. Didn’t even know she was an employee. Place is a garbage hole. Should have just slept in my truck.

Overall, the people here are very nice. Continental breakfast is beyond good, with a waffle bar included. The pool was operable, but my only problem was that fine- tuned house keeping does not seem to be practiced at this location. Upon arrival, I inspected the room with a flashlight for bed bugs. Though I did not find living bugs, carcasses were present in the couch fold. Also found a hypodermic needle under the air conditioner, as well as some remnants of copper brillo pad in the drawer (with the Bible🤣). Dust is thick on hinge side of door to the room. The underside of the ac had accumulated a hoard of dead ants. Also had a hole in the wall by bed, as well as a broken bathroom bath drain plug. Pull out bed had rice and garbage under mattress from the previous people. Overall, 3 stars for lack of effort on cleaning tough to reach spots.

The hotel is on a hill. If you are not able to walk well or have someone in a wheelchair, it is difficult to navigate the exterior. The "handicap" room we had was small for one. It is like they retrofitted a regular room to be accessible. The dresser had to be moved so my husband could get in. This caused the microwave to become unplugged and we had to put it on the desk to use it. Did see one bug on the bed. Exterminator needed. Service was good.

First of all after working and driving all day we didnt get in till 11:30pm go to open the pull out couch for our teenagers and no blankets or sheets. Go to front desk they tell us the motel has no extra blankets gives us 2 sheets so they had no blanket to sleep with all night . Then the toliet was not cleaned pee all over the seat and after showering the tub stay stopped up. We check out in the morning right away was ginna stay 2 nights but not after all this and the broken gkass all over the hallway and the room smelled like cigarettes. Then try to contact the manager for 3 days kept getting a run around and they never called back. Worst hotel stay ever.

This hotel was a pleasant surprise. The rooms were a solid 3.5 - clean, well-stocked, an extra -large bathroom in the unit I received. The only drawback is that the beds in that room were advertised as queens, when they really were two doubles. The staff members were friendlier than what I normally find in chain hotels. But the truly big win with this hotel was the roomy breakfast area and extensive free buffet choices. Now, granted, the food was pretty standard for chain hotels - bread, oatmeal, fruit, eggs, freshly-made waffles from self-poured waffle mix. The juice machine was out of apple and orange juice, which was a bit of a disappointment, and the waffle makers seemed to have recurring issues with heating up to the correct heat required to cook the mix. But hot eggs and meat were also on the buffet and staff had made a great deal of effort to ensure the meat offerings stayed fresh. I also arrived in the breakfast area slightly before the buffet was scheduled to start, and staff quickly started to assemble the last few items needed to complete the full buffet. I didn't have the opportunity to use other amenities. All-in-all, not a place to stay if you expect luxury, but a solid travel hotel for travelers looking for a clean, safe place to stay with decent coffee and hot food.

The first room I had didn't have heat, I have been here 3 days asked for new towels was told they only gave new towels every two days. I use a new towel every day at my own home. None of the ice machines or vending machines work at all

The rooms are horrible. Based on what I saw in my room, I'm not convinced they clean the linens between guests. The rooms are very dated. The location is ok. There's food options within walking distance. I only stayed there because it's where my company put me up, but I would never return on my own.

No effort is put into maintaining this property - from the torn up parking lot to the filthy furniture, walls and carpets in all common areas. The two stars are for the great customer service from the African-American gentleman (Cory?) at check-in and the comfortable bed in the ok room. I noted the race of the gentleman to distinguish him from the the other two employees I saw who didn’t seem to give a d***. During my two-day stay the police were called twice. On two occasions a woman was allowed to sit in the lobby barefoot. I don’t know if it was the same woman. I will not stay here again, nor do I recommend anyone else stay here. This hotel should not have any rooms for more than $100/night. Robbery!

Great staff is the only reason for the 2 stars. The pool is down with no one even working on it. Still advertising indoor pool. Ice machine down. Rooms look great but air conditioner kept us up all night rattling like MRI machine.

You get your typical stay here. Clean rooms and linens. Comfy beds. It’s an old building and you can tell. Friendly staff. Never ate from the restaurant or went to the bar but it exists. Nice views

Not in the greatest area. Hallways very dimly lit. Alot of people, seemingly employees, lounging around in varying areas. Keypads do not work. Sanitation staff had to let me in. Green unlock light did not light up on door, was able to open without key access, made sure to chain lock. Room was average, ac worked well, bathroom door so large that it blocked entryway to room. First floor rooms difficult to locate from lounge. Only reason I am not giving one star is AC, no incidental charges & good hot breakfast. Did not take advantage of off lobby bar/restaurant called Humpty's.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!!! This is by far one of the worst hotels! Once main reason we booked is because it said there was a pool....well...pool is closed and nothing was noted anywhere. We needed sheets for the pull out bed...they called house keeping to bring them up, which is fine....but THEY LEFT THEM ON THE HALLWAY FLOOR! They couldn't wait 5 seconds for us to open the door. It's just a very dirty and stinky hotel. Doesn't look like it's been cleaned in MONTHS. The remote is full of dirt and food crumbs 🤮 along with the pull out mattress. Dust bunnies every where, squished bugs on the walls/doors...I could go on and on! Very poor place and avoid at all costs! You could get more for your money else where! Last time we'll stay at a Clarion!
