This is a great place to explore if you live in the South Bronx. You might miss it if you drive by the Grand concourse because of all the trees (and some slight construction) but it is a beauty once you step into the gates. In honestly seemed like I had stepped into Alice in Wonderland. It just a stark contrast to what one would normally see in the area. Inside there are a load of art exhibits as well that are totally free to view. There's also a little space with tables and pianos that you could read at. Recommended

really awesome venue for special events. very spacious and clean cut spaces make it easy to traverse and the outside front of the property was a nice place to hang out under the stars. only came here for a party but i imagine when it's filled with art it's an exceptional place to walk around.

Didn’t go inside but was in the field area set up for a middle school graduation. It was fairly spacious and has these beautiful sculpture trees

Great spot for a film/music video location. Different rooms for daily rent depending on your needs and aesthetics. However, rooms have little to no AC.

I remember what this place USED TO BE. Whew Chile! They have art exhibits that feature works from a several residents and a rotation of other artists. The exhibits change every 3 weeks. On Saturdays they do coffee and small bites while you take in the exhibits or casually peruse the property. I believe they have a drum circle, towards the end of the week, playing on the conga complimented by brass instruments too. They are directly across the street from the Bronx Museum. I could see this place becoming akin to 'First Fridays @Bklyn Museum'.

Beautiful space often used for community events and artist residencies. I stopped by to to view the possibilities of renting for a project launch and stumbled upon this incredible exhibit by Fabiola Jean-Louis. Sprawling lawn, wide halls and terraces aid in the appeal of this space which is also super close to public transportation.

Very disappointed in the upkeep of this historical landmark. The grounds are in need of major landscaping and there were what looks like dog houses inhabited with a massive amount of cats. The inside is beautiful where the art work was displayed but the room for rental was 3500 and 1500 at a discount needed a major facelift and we visited around 1pam and the bathroom creaked of a strong urine smell as if it hadn't been cleaned. I would definitely volunteer to assisted in the upkeep of this site.

In the summer is nice as far as the blossoms and flowers. You can visit all the stray cats they feed. But unfortunately a lot of garbage on the ground.

This is one of my favorite spaces in all of New York City. I feel lucky to live here every time I visit. I learned that I won the NYC housing lottery here.

We recently needed a place for a repass for our lovely friend, and we were helped by Rhonda, when we told her for what the rental was, she was so compassionate and kind and took her time to make sure we had the right room, and we did it was wonderful, all the workers we're exceptional that day, I have worked for the hotel pierre for 49 years, and Rhonda was incredibly professional, I also trained Forbes, to make sure we get 5 stars and we did, I would give Rhonda 5 star's, and your worker's, great experience.

Rhonda Is phenomenal! We held a memorial for my brother on 11/11/23. She went out of her way to accommodate our every request. AND, she was working on a Saturday, when it happened! Of course, the event was a success. People are now asking about the venue. It's lovely place, but Rhonda is the caveat! She makes it all happen with caring/expertise!
