Did not expect this place to be as amazing as it is! The three year old I nanny loved the biscuits. The food is delicious and VERY affordable, and the staff was very welcoming. We will absolutely be back!

Fabulous biscuits - I had the Charlotte ( a BLT), friend had the chicken. Both were great and just the right size before going to Sloan's Lake

This is without question one of the best biscuit breakfast sandwiches that I have ever had. I went with the Asheville and a hash brown along with a small chai, everything was absolutely divine. The food came out very quickly, prices were very affordable, and flavors were immaculate. Highly recommend to anyone looking for the best breakfast sandwich of their life.

Amazing flaky biscuits that can go good with anything you put in between them! Rise and shine is a North Carolina inspired biscuit place. Growing up in North Carolina, I definitely got to know you're way around a good biscuit and they have that covered. Covered. The biscuits are always flaky and moist and full of flavor and they always have a new biscuit of the day! If you're from the south and you know of legendary Cheerwine as well! A delicious Cherry soda that you can only find in the south, mostly North Carolina, And now you can find it here too! The hashbrowns remind me of a better McDonald's hash brown which is the perfect side for these biscuits! My only complaint is that their gravy is subpar for how great their biscuits are, and their bacon is lacking in quality. I love a good bacon, egg and cheese on a biscuit or biscuits and gravy so that's it. Disappointment. The biscuits make up for it alone though! Definitely recommend this place for a quick snack or even breakfast!

I've ordered takeout several times and each time the biscuits have been great. I like the ability to customize my sandwich. Hashbrown and side gravy work well together. There can be a line out the door some mornings, but once you place your order it doesn't take long. Would recommend to anyone.

A weekend staple for me! Always busy but moves quick and definitely worth it. The ladies are so nice and always make my day. Plus the rotating art keeps the place fresh. Couldn't recommend enough!

Cute place with good vibes. Quick counter service. Mocha was definitely way too sweet. The biscuits were in incredible and they have a different mix-in/flavor every day. But the serving sizes were a bit small and I was still hungry afterwards. I’d probably go back, but might need a second biscuit!

What a nice treat to walk in to a breakfast joint in Denver and see the NC city names on all the items. And Cheerwine! We were visiting from NC and loved this place. Not sure all the biscuit names corresponded well, but the Chapel Hill (chicken) is surely inspired by Time-Out in CH. I got the Raleigh on a gouda biscuit. Delicious!

2 hash browns, 2 biscuits with cheese, egg, sausage plus medium coffee came out to a little under $20. I was underwhelmed. I was expecting fluffy biscuits with crispy flaky shell, I was met with a stale biscuit, the sausage was a tad rubbery, eggs were fine. Hash browns were crunchy and on the saltier side for me. Maybe because I came at noon but with all the ravings reviews, I left disappointed.

Biscuits were tasty with a crisp exterior & soft interior. The cinnamon roll biscuit is a tasty treat.

Really can’t praise it high enough! I was stuck in the area for a bit and my friend told me to come here. The register was so gentle kind, and helpful. They seemed to really care I was there. I saw them pay this kindness to each and every customer that came in, one customer said it had been years but remembered her name and said he always comes back when he can! WOW Ok now food: amazing and amazing prices - i was happily stunned i was able to get a smooth cappuccino, tasty hash browns, and a decadent cinnamon roll with tip for $13. Though plenty full I wanted to order more simply because it tasted so good. 😆 Atmosphere: easy street parking, comfy chairs, natural light, good internet. Perfectly clean bathrooms, and great music. Definitely millennial nostalgia but I am one so I dug it. Art for sale too! If you’re in the area, you should try it too!!!

Coming from the NY area, it’s clear to see why people move to CO. This was my first experience in CO and the people working here could not be nicer. They are so kind. You don’t feel rushed, pushed, or like you’re annoying them if you ask a question. The food is amazing, so so delicious!!! Amazing price, great bang for your buck. I wish I could give this place 10 stars. Can’t wait to visit again!!!

I’ve never once been disappointed with what I’ve ordered here 🤤 pro tip - try the cinnamon roll biscuit with frosting

Surely their biscuits are so good, they don’t need to rely on my review for survival. They’re always serving up something tasty or new. If you’re looking for a quick, delicious, unpretentious breakfast, I cannot recommend enough. Some of my favorites are the BLT, and the fried chicken biscuit. But, you literally can get the biscuit of the day or their cinnamon biscuit and a coffee and you will be satisfied!!

Tried this place out just a couple days ago due to all of the high ratings and this place did not disappoint. Had the Biscuit of the Day (graham cracker) with sausage, egg, and cheese and oh my gods was that biscuit crumbly and delicious. Not sure if it was the biscuit or the sausage patty or both but something had a bit of maple syrup in there too and that was so good! They don't skimp on the eggs either. That was easily 2 (maybe even 3) scrambled eggs. Had the hot cocoa and it was hot (not too hot) and tasty. Wasn't sickly sweet. And even had a bit of milk art on top. The building itself is unsuspecting. Almost drove right past it. Jan was very personable and welcoming. Yeah, definitely worth the drive.

We ALWAYS come to Rise and Shine when we visit Denver because they have the best biscuits!! A must stop for breakfast. Make sure you get there early on the weekends because they get busy fast. Staff is super friendly. It’s next to Sloan Lake which makes a great stop to go eat your sammie. Oh and great a hash brown for sure!

First, Jan is the sweetest and always makes the experience special. Second, these are the best biscuits in town. I need to try all of them, but the chicken biscuit with the jam of the day always calls my name. Third and final note is that the coffee is excellent. A great way to start a day!

Awesome sandwich! I had bacon, egg, cheddar on apple ginger biscuit. It was great! The hash brown was a amazing side! Crunchy and just right! I also recommend the iced americano!

My husband and I went here for breakfast and ordered a chicken biscuit and a bacon, egg and cheese biscuit. I was surprised at how bland my breakfast biscuit was. I was also surprised that there was no choice of cheese. The bacon was thin, rubbery and tasteless. We waited at least 10 minutes, which is understandable, but when I got my sandwich it was cold. My husband did like his chicken biscuit and the coffee was good.
