My last two visits here have been the same: incredible food quality, friendly service, and remarkable experiences. Short staffed, like everyone else, and still producing amazing food. It was surprising, I admit. And despite the shortage of help, the staff were all very kind. Ordered: Turkey Bacon Avocado Melt ( below ) The Ultimate Skillet w/ Pancakes Stop by, try em out. You'll be happy you went!

My family and I really enjoyed eating here. The wait staff were very friendly and the food was delicious. There was no wait time and our meals came out sooner than I would expect. I would definitely come here again. The California Skillet and the banana pancakes were phenomenal. Highly recommend 👌

I wish I took a picture of the new look of the Village Inn beautiful. My family's food was great we all finished our plates. The hostess was welcoming and new so please treat all hosts and hostesses with kindness. 😁

Though I have always enjoyed eating at Village Inn I usually go in with somewhat low expectations regarding the food. However, eating here for Mother's Day both my husband and I were pleasantly surprised at how good the food was. The service was fairly quick (though to be fair we also got there almost right after they opened) and our server was polite. My only complaint was that in the breakfast skillet I had the meat and potatoes were extremely large and not chopped to a more reasonable size. I would say that, for the money, this VI is worth checking out.

They don't season anything, Not the eggs, not the potatoes nothing. They do not use salt at all. Even McDonald's uses pepper. Their green chili was a creamy jelly-like consistency the carnitas where sparse and the tortilla was soggy. Hospital food is better.

Ok... I have to preface this review with the statement that my friend and I have been regulars at this location for 20+ years. This is the first time I have written a review for this VI. I have seen this restaurant go through ups and downs, but after our experience tonight I think that we will be going to see Ryan at Denny's on 104th from now on. I was supposed to meet my friend at this VI for dinner and got caught in traffic because there were two accidents on the highway. I was 45 minutes late. The server, I did not see a name tag was highly agitated when she came over to greet me when I finally got there. I asked for coffee and water. She came back and poured me coffee. The cup was dirty. I didn't get a chance to let her know as she was asking if we were ready to order. I asked for a few minutes. She then walked away and you could feel the irritation radiating off of her. She walks into the pass thru and asks the other server if she wants our table because she doesn't want to wait another hour for five dollars. This is very unprofessional and rude. But what takes the cake is that she not only didn't bother to come over and explain that the other server would be taking over so that she could go home but she prints out her paperwork, gives us a dirty look and leaves. What I assume is the supervisor( woman with pinkish hair) asks the young lady server that is left if she has our table. Her reply was that we would have to wait. Supervisor didn't come over and help the server but did come our direction several times to speak to what appeared to be her child sitting at the table right outside the office. We got service, it was slow, the restaurant was empty for a free pie wednesday and they were out of all but three cream pies and were missing one fruit pie and the restaurant had no people in it. The server that helped us was nice but you could tell she was frustrated. The food looked really good and my sandwich was ok. I have worked in the culinary industry as a chef for over 20 years. Staff makes or breaks your restaurant. This location is not the same without Susan, Little Mel, John the old GM... The night staff is breaking this location. This location went from clean to dirty to revamped with nothing on the walls. It feel sterile and uninviting. If we come back and that is a big if we will come during the day so that we can get service from Darby, Jerica or Michelle. They rock and honestly Jerica is the only reason we came in tonight to give it a whirl. I would have given less stars but the server that helped us in the end deserves better.

I was finally able to eat here after the renovation. From the outside, it appears more modern, with the exception of all the pot holes in the parking lot and the junky vehicles that are part of the adjacent motel. Inside looks immaculate, no more dingy carpet and out of date decorations. Gone are the televisions and knick knacks. Now it looks like an asylum, with their white walls. I asked for a cup of coffee with the flavored creamers, but they phased that out, too. They have lattes and flavored coffee. The menu is the same. they just serve on different plates. Darbi B was a wonderful waitress. I accidentally came on senior Wednesday because I was surrounded by fifty elders. Overall, the visit was okay. It's not fabulous, just ok.

I'm finding it hard to rate this experience because some aspectswere great and others, not so much. Service was super friendly. I liked our server a lot. It was busy but not slammed. But it took a long time for our food to arrive. Perhaps they were a little short-staffed. I ordered the avocado toast and it was fabulous. My boyfriend ordered the crepes and they were only so-so. The filling was thin and not rich & decadent. Almost tasted like nonfat yogurt was used in the filling.

The renovation is nice but the service and food was not. Took 55 minutes to get our food, and then my order was wrong. No more substitute of hash browns for eggs which cost less. I paid $16.50 for a waffle, 2 small pieces of bacon, and under cooked hash browns. Also, $5.50 for orange juice?? I can buy a whole gallon. Will never eat at any village inn again.

Place feels sterile, institutionalized and like a set up for a really bad movie. Staff wasn't the friendliest and even though it wasn't listed, we were told each tea bag will cost me extra. My husband and I were both drinking tea. I tried the London Fog which had earl grey tea and it was a bit sweet for my liking, so I wanted a little more earl grey to balance the sweet. The London Fog is like $5 per small coffee mug. Instead of being a total jerk in response to the servers poor attitude about the tea. I paid my $42 bill with my debit card and left him a $20 bill underneath his machine. Why? Because I'm sick of being discriminated against based on how I dress. I dress down to watch people's ugly side come out.

We come here really often lately and it’s always so nice! No matter what waitress we get sat with, it’s fantastic service from all of them. I love the remodel, the food, and the staff. They’re all awesome. :)

Absolutely loved the food. It was delicious, hot, great portions. I had the smothered burrito. And will be trying something different next time as well as taking a burrito to go. My boyfriend also loved his eggs Benedict. It's a very clean, light, and fancy atmosphere. Our server was ok. I'm a picky eater, but when I pay to go out to eat it's going to be how I want it. And she was very short taking my order and had an attitude and over talked me a little more than I appreciated and even my bf was gonna say something, but her attitude got a little better after the food came out. I get it, I managed and served at an IHOP,and am a Store Manager at a Dollar General so I get bad days and picky customers, that's why I didn't say anything while there. But people who work in customer service need to leave the attitude at the door. Her tip would have been better.

The food and service were everything I expect from a village in. It's a nice version of a Denny's, with much better food. They recently changed up their aesthetic, and now the inside kind of feels like you're in the operating theater of the hospital. Not a fan of that
