There are things I really like about this gym like the amount of equipment, that it’s not very busy in the morning and how spacious it is. Things they really need to do better at is the locker rooms. Today I saw a giant hairball in the toilette area that will probably remain there for years. The showers and changing stalls are in desperate need of cleaning and are turning green. Come on Planet Fitness you are supposed to be the “clean” club but aren’t living up to it. Get some dang power washers and clean those showers and bathroom area.

This location I do not recommend. I joined this location but then had accident that prevented my going except once. I called to cancel due to medical restrictions. Noticing a few days later, I was already charged. I called asking regarding the refund if my funds. This manager, Mars said he cannot give a refund because basically I didn't have my accident within their specified time. When I asked to speak to the manager over him, he said there is no one but him; nor is there a corporate number he could give me. Many companies and their staff these days try to deal with us in a narcisstic manner, which is not okay. There is a such thing as case by case basis due to unforeseen circumstances but doing the right thing just doesn't matter, as with my case here. RE response: The membership was canceled successfully. My complaint is that Mars did not refund the money taken from my account. Nov 2022 update: After confirming that my account has been cancelled by the manager, I am still receiving emails from this planet fitness that they are trying to charge my debit card.

I still give it five stars still because the gym itself is clean and you can always visually see them cleaning plus the staff is friendly, but I’ve mention to the staff about the standup tanning booth. I’ve never seen so pubic hairs in one spot, you can tell it has not been mopped in a couple MONTHS! Still a good place. Just bring your flip flop if you’re tanning

I visit this gym 4-5 times a week and love it. Very clean and easy to navigate. People are kind and stay to themselves; overall great gym.

Planet fitness likes to steal money from their customers. I cancelled my membership due to me having a leg injury and they were still charging me every month. I called planet fitness to cancel and the guy up front told me basically that’s too bad and I still have to come in to cancel, I explained how is it my fault for the mistake YOUR employee made. They agreed to cancel it over the phone and when I asked for a refund for the previous month they told me no. I asked to speak to the manager and they were rude and aggressive. They didn’t want to refund me my hard earned money for the previous month when I went in with a BROKEN LEG to cancel. Very unprofessional, the employee was rude, he didn’t want to help me. I’m upset. I been calling corporate and I get no response, I left emails, I contacted them over and over and they like to have excuses and not own up to their mistakes. I would not recommend getting a membership at this location or this place in general. This is not the first time I’ve heard bad things about planet fitness. Save you some time and don’t even waste your energy or money here. Very very disappointed. What happened to “the customer is always right”. I want my money back. This is unfair. THEIR EMPLOYEE MADE A MISTAKE, NOT ME!!!!

I literally have nothing negative to say about this Planet Fitness. It's clean, spacious, and the staff is efficient and as friendly as they need to be (without being cult-like weird friendly). It's probably one of the better PF's I've ever used. And, in general, their whole "no lunk" schtick actually seems to work. It really cuts back on the standard meatheads at the gym. Lots of serious people here, but they do their thing and leave. I should leave a 1-star so you don't come here, but that wouldn't be fair now would it.

I've lived in this area for ever and considering how much more money I have paid for other gym memberships this place seems too good to be true. It is just as clean and welcoming as the gym down the street that charges 20 times in monthly fees. It mostly has the equipment I need (with the exception of squat racks) and is usually not overly crowded. For 10 dollars a month, I will forgo the "luxury" gym with their complimentary q tips any day.

Location is perfect, I always find close parking, machines are always clean and in good condition. Always enjoy my work outs.

Wow. This place is immaculate and beyond clean. What a great gym and the front desk rep was super nice and helpful. One of the best Planet Fitness locations I've ever been to. Definitely reccomend!

I love this location. Lots of space, tons of machines, never too crowded or busy when I go. The staff are helpful. I like to use the massage beds and the total body enhancement machine in the "Black Card" lounge and I never have to wait to use these perks. The crowd is respectful, non-judgmental and I feel super comfortable working out here as a femme person. I love this gym.

I've had several issues with billing from planet fitness. In August of this year, everytime I called this location (my home gym) I got a apathetic/insincere/rude response, claiming there was nothing they could do to help me. When I know that is just a flat out lie. I asked Mars (the manager at the time) to call the district manager and he literally ignored my request. First they tell me to call my bank. Did that. Bank said that its planet fitness responsibility. Called Glendale Planet fitness back and they gave me the billing peoples number. Even then, I was told that it was my home gym's job to issue the refund. They literally gave me the runaround. I talked mostly to Mars and his customer service was terrible. I forgot who else I talked to. Nevertheless, it seems better customer service training should be provided and enforced at this location. Fortunately, I just talked to Seth, and he helped me more than anyone has in the past 3 months. He took the time to actually explain things to me, GENUINELY apologized and was an excellent example of how to treat other people. I actually felt like for once I was talking to a human. If I was just rating him and not the business itself, I would give him 5 stars for sure. Thank you Seth! 😊

Avoid this place like the plague. They will lie any chance they can to get you to sign up for a membership. If they say no contract, they don’t mean no contract. Even though you are month to month, you still have to pay to cancel “early” because their month to month plan is a contract of one year, even though they advertise having no contract.

This was a great gym, and there's definitely no judgment at all. The equipment works perfectly, and the staff are really nice and helpful (I'm talking about you, Seth and Joe). I'd recommend this gym if others haven't been working out for you.

Nice gym, generally clean, never too busy at least when I go. ONE THING TO NOTE: it can be hard to get hot water in the showers. Had to run it 3 to 4 minutes before it came on.

Wow! A bit bigger than the SOKC gym. The place is clean, tons of equipment. I went about 4:45 and had no problem getting to equipment I like to use (stair master), super friendly staff. Clean, clean:) I will come here again when in the area.

I've been going to this gym since it opened. I like how the gym is laid out and the equipment offered. The restrooms/shower area are kept cleaned. I see gym employees out on the gym floor cleaning and sanitizing the equipment and floor areas. I enjoy getting a good workout at this gym. Highly recommend this gym.

I absolutely love my Planet Fitness in Glendale CO. It truly is a 'No Judgement' Zone and the people who work there are kind and helpful. The PF app is excellent!

Best gym! Way better than 24 hour fitness!

I have been to several Planet Fitness locations on a consistent basis, and the Colorado Ave location has to be my favorite. Everyone who works there are very kind and helpful with from questions about workouts to just chatting between sets. The machines are well maintained and clean and the location has good parking.

Great gym , very clean, all the machines etc where in shape and working . Front desk was very helpful since it was my first time to this location .

Don't use the lockers, security is non-existent here. Gym is overall good and very clean, it sadly lacks of bars.

EDIT: Updating this review to higher stars because despite staffing challenges, the gym has remained open and even through replacing the gym parking lot worked to set up alternate accommodations for members to use a nearby parking garage, which shows a commitment to service. Thank you! I’ve been going to this Planet Fitness for about two months and this is the second time I’ve shown up at 6:30 AM just for the gym to be inexplicably closed during normal hours. This time, there was a handwritten sign stuck in the door telling people to go to another location 2+ miles away. What? I’m sure it’s hard to keep good staff at the front desk, but there needs to be some kind of better backup plan for when these sort of things happen. The gym is normally clean and has good equipment which is why I’m rating two stars, but unfortunately for this to happen twice within 2 months is pretty disappointing.

I've tried to join this gym twice now. They advertise-non judgemental- yet I can't join because I choose venmo for my financial needs. Seems very judgemental to me. I will never recommend nor step foot in this facility ever. Liars.

i been trying to cancel it over 7 months they all telling me same thing that i have to do it face to face, no one helping me, i make phone calls for 2 hours, still same answer, i am out of country and paying money for no reasons and also i been member since 2021. hated all the people in here , i know they can do it with one single button but they dont want to do it, and they over charging for no reasons, dont use these fitness club

If you want to overheat, this is the gym for you! It’s insanely hot all the time and there’s no air flow. Forget stretching or working out in the back corner with the TRX bands. I understand needing to sweat but my god it’s unbearable inside.

Well I was homeless for about 2 months till I got an apartment I was able to shower and clean myself and work out so I really appreciate planet fitness thank you

Joined this gym mid 2022 and happy with everything the gym offers so far. I usually go around 9:00-10:00pm and there’s almost never more than 10-15 people there so any equipment I want to use is available. The gym is also kept pretty clean; I’ve never seen anything that was clearly dirty. And the “spa” machines like the massage chairs are always available. The only negative thing about this location is they changed the hours of operation recently for some reason. Now the gym closes at 10:00pm sharp so now when I get there at 9:00, it’s a lot busier.

Very friendly atmosphere, the staff is great and club is clean. There is a lot of exercise equipment and the monthly fee is a bargain
