4.5 stars We got the florentine and the hot chicken waffles. If you are debating whether to get a classic waffle or liege style...I'd go liege! The hot chicken waffle (liege style) was fantastic. 10/10, no notes. So good. That will likely be what I get next time. The florentine (classic style) had a texture problem, in my opinion. It was soggy without much crunch to counter it. It has feta cheese, but I think something like gruyere would have suited it better. My daughter liked it, but I didn't. Besides that, I am thrilled that there is a new Waffle Champion location. This location has more parking and, I think, more seating, which makes it a more accessible spot overall.

This place is a breath of fresh air. I’m from South Louisiana and know what great food is. Unfortunately, I have not been able to find a place here that I would go to again, until today. Their food was so different and amazing. The restaurant was clean and nicely done. I will be returning to this establishment.

Idk about everything on the menu but if you go here for waffles you won’t be disappointed

Really want to like this place, but like the first location the food is just okay. Waffles are fun but nothing super special for the price. Today had the chorizo tacos. Chorizo is dry and flavorless. I liked the radishes and cotija on it but chorizo should be full of flavor - these are not. Plate presentation is actually really good and service was super friendly. For the price, Neighborhood JAM has way more options and better flavor.

We went to this newer location for the first time today. I never expect much when eating out because the quality is mostly lacking. We ordered the chicken and waffles gluten free w some fries and sauce. It was the best, most flavorful breakfast I have had not homemade. The chicken was cooked perfectly- juicy not dry, the breading was well seasoned but not overly seasoned, the sauces were great especially the maple mustard and the syrup. The waffle was perfectly made too! Soft yet crispy. Same goes for the waffle fries... These are the best fries you can get! I know my fries, I'm picky. But these fries were soft but not soggy. They had a crispy but not hard texture and they weren't saturated in oil. 10/10 will be back again.
