A wonderful place to fish if you know where the usual snags are. People caught 60 Lb catfishes off the pier here. It’s quite a view looking at an occasional passing by huge container ferry. Lots of catfish and rarely do you head back without a bite. Not much of bass or bluegill. Wish they had a bait/ refreshment center in the fishing side. Bathrooms are neat and well maintained.

Good place to relax and unwind. Fairly quiet apart from boats coming and going. They have pavilions to give you and your party some shade. Have some swings for the kids. And some historical markers as well! Enjoy!

Great launch. New to the area and loved it. Looks like a little bar is right there too! The best part though? Watching folks load boats onto trailer that don't know how😅

Nice place, free parking. The boating good store had a PFD to sell me when I realized I forgot mine. Jimmy Dean sausage house a short paddle upstream. Lots of wildlife: eagles, osprey, herons. Occasional tug barges.

Surprisingly nice little park. River views are plentiful, trails are all paved, amenities are (mostly) well-kept, and there's even a boardwalk through some marsh.

Always tranquil during morning hours. This weekend there is a pro fishing tournament but no boats around only trucks and boat trailers. Still peaceful with birds chipping, waves lapping and a gentle breeze. Great napping weather today.

We rented the pavillion for the afternoon, and it is such a nice place to relax and enjoy time with friends and family for an afternoon. The walking path through the woods is paved, except for the wood bridge over the marshy area, and it's super neat. Kids and adults alike had a good time.

2023 Boat Parade of lights did NOT disappoint. Beautiful Night and plenty of Xmas cheer!

Absolutely great place to spend time with the family! Do a little fishing, take a nice walk around the paved trail henrico county parks and rec offers. Plenty of green space that is landscaped very nicely. After a nice day in the park check out the waterfront resturant The Lily Pad! It's an amazing spot to eat! Absolutely amazing park for all types of people and activities.
