Evagale is a brilliant host - freindly and welcoming. This is a vegan joint, with massive energy, colourful and huge. The food and drinks here are great and easy on the wallet. There's so much seating space and plenty of fruit and veg growing around. You can tell that this place is loved. Everyone that leaves is compelled to give thanks before parting ways. There's a family atmosphere for everyone that enters. I'm glad this place survived the 2020 pandemic - till we meet again.

English: I walked in tired and hungry, so couldn't be bothered looking at the menu. I said to the chef, "I am hungry. Give me something to eat. Whatever you want. " He asked me if I eat fish. When I said yes he just went away and did his thing. What a lovely surprise came from his skills. My mouth, belly, and body were happy with each mouth full.

Great little place with delightful staff and delicious food. With a large, healthy, vegetarian/vegan selection, freshly squeezed juices and an interesting selection of cocktails

I've gone there to have breakfast. The 2 staff members were very welcoming to me. Shame, I forgot to ask their name. My crepe and milkshake were fresh and delicious. One of the most important things for me: the vibe and atmosphere were just fantastic. Artistic, colourful and relaxed environment. Very beautiful place. Will definitely go back there for a breakfast treat ♡

What an INCREDIBLE find! The coolest little spot in Brixton for amazing vegetarian/vegan food. With the amazing gentleman who freshly made our food, even if it wasn’t great I would have come again - yet the salmon and aubergine pancake was DELICIOUS! This place is not to go amiss. I’ll be back faster than you can say Katakata 🔥🔥

Such a wonderful, peaceful space to be. Warm and friendly people (both staff and customers). Absolutely delicious juices and a really well thought out menu. I can't wait to try some of the gluten free meals.

Visited with my brothers looking try something a little different. Nice little street side venue good food friendly and warmly courteous service. Would certainly re visit to explore the menu.

Had an amazing experience tonight. Lovely energy. The owner is a gem. Great atmosphere, unbelievably affordable and the food was banging. He makes all the dishes fresh from scratch too. Couldn’t recommend enough.

Accidentally went there and the vibe was dead. Location is to blame for that. Food was tasty and cocktails were strongly good. Guy running this place will make you feel home ☺️😊

Had lunch here today after happening upon it while visiting my son in the area. What a find. We were welcomed by a lovely, smiley proprietor/chef who managed to stay calm and efficient even though he was running the place singlehanded. Mainly vegetarian and vegan options ( some fish). The galettes we had were delicious. Stuffed with fresh, perfectly cooked vegetables and cheese ( vegan ones also available) juices looked great and my coffee was perfect. Very reasonably priced , we will definitely return when next in the area.

Magic. The pace of the place is slow and relaxed; yet the food arrives just when you'd expect it. The portions look average but they enchant with flavour and fill you up. It's by a busy road...but the noise is gone once you enter Katakata.

Great African food with excellent vegetarian options. The owner is awesome and the space has lots outdoor seatings in front and back. Airy, breezy, relaxed, comfortable and naturally beautiful place with good food and friendly staff. What more could you ask? There was a party in the back when I visited. They provided the space and the food. It looked like a lot of fun. I planned to do a poetry event there myself but had to leave London before I could plan it. The space has a lot of potential! Btw: the owner donates fresh vegetables to those in need!

Such a lovely Brixton fixture! Veggie with a bit of fish. Loads of vegan options and fantastic smoothies, juices and cocktails. Super chill team. And their outdoor area is dog friendly!

Food was yum and the fresh juices too! I needed a different scene to "work from home" the staff were friendly including the chef, spacious cafe and good atmosphere.

A bit of a gem. Excellent vegan and vegetarian crêpes /galletes with a kind of Caribbean twist. The jerk goat (cheese) galette was excellent and nicely spicy (for me... I'm a Chili fiend though. Watch out if you're spice averse). The girlfriend had the special which was tasty and cheesy and not spicy. We went on a Groupon deal but even full price at £7 each is a bargain. Dessert was also excellent, dark and lovely crepe with choc, banana and grand marnier👌 Also the space is nice, with art and soca/African music playing. Plus boss man is super friendly. Top notch.

Very nice place. Cozy and the food is delicious. I’m not vegetarian and I really loved it anyway. DO NOT HESITATE 😍
