Lahori Fish Fry is one of the must try dishes at Chingari. Loved their chicken and fish dishes, most importantly the meat & fishes are fresh, and then their masalas are great.

Update 16/03/2023 - Decided to update my review - Your food is too good to leave a bad review. Old Review - As good as your food is, customer service is equally appalling. Ordered over Ubereats. Got a call that item is not available asking me to cancel. Got charged by Uber for cancellation and had to raise a dispute (Luckily I make all my payments through PayPal). Not cool and you just lost a customer.

1st time visit. Wowed by the fried fish, malai boti (dry version), and gol gappay. On a side note, my daughter was cold and the staff/owner were ever so helpful and let her in. She thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Will definitely return, hungry for more.

The meat was succulent, the flavours of your dishes were top-notch, but most of all, our taste buds are wanting for 7 days a week Chingari food now.

I actually was about to vomit after taking 2 bites. It’s s such a shame that their quality has declined so much. They used to be one of the best in west and I have personally recommended them to so many of our friends, ever since they opened. We received same feedback from our other friends and family too. This is not the first time, it has happened 3rd time in a row. They have increased price as well, and there remains no value for money. They were always expensive but we never complained because their taste was too good. Their quality has literally declined from 9/10 to 1/10. The chicken was rotten and the roll smelled horrible, paratha uncooked. Imagine having such a roll at iftar time. Anyone going there, try Sahebi Juice, Werribee instead, they are top notch (what chingari used to be). Anyone from Chingari’s cooks reading, please check their quality out and align or atleast bring back your original quality and taste. Sad.

We ordered the Mix Platter which comes with a Garlic Naan and it was delicious! The meat was really tender and the bread was soft and flavored really well. I would have wanted a bigger naan bread but it was delicious none the less! The portion sizes were big too! I would definitely go back for more.

They use to charge for extra chutney before (which is very little in quantity which they provide. However, last time I picked up they didn't charge. Hence , editing the review from 1 star back to 4 . The taste has always been constant for the paratha rolls , absolutely delicious!! Same goes for Lahore fish . However , the shami kebab quality has gone down incredibly.(the reason for 4 stars not 5) Maybe because the owner was not there cooking it. Looking forward to coming back to one of my favourite place.

Exceptional food, we've tried bihari both, shami, lahori fish and parathas and tastes authentic. Parathas are probably the best in Melbourne. Very enthusiastic and hard working team. Keep it up....

The most delicious and authentic paratha rolls/ dahi bhala chats and fish that I’ve had to date! And let’s not even start talking about their delicious walnut halwa. I take my family here whenever they come to visit and we just cannot get hold of anything better in Melbourne when it comes to paratha rolls!

I bought sekh lamb it was 15.99 onboard he charged me 16.25 and gave me food without any plastic bag. Haven't tried food yet I am sure it will taste like their poor customer service

Excellent food and taste. Authentic Pakistani taste. Must try if you are in Werribee. Great customer service. I have tried there chicken karahi, chicken malai boti, chicken baryani and lahori fried fish, all items were very delicious but I will highly recommend lahori fish and malai boti. Will definitely try their other menu items.

Very disappointing meal. We got the bbq platter and while the meats had charr marks and presented as bbq it’s exteriors was soft and almost mushy leading me to believe that it might have been microwaved? Such a shame cuz this would have be devine meal had it been fresh of the grill !

Excellent food. Chingari is a must try if you are looking for authentic Pakistani taste. We have tried Chicken Biryani, Bihari Boti , Roll parathay n garlic naan. Everything is served fresh hot, tasty and the customer service is great as well. Tell them what you need and they'll adjust spice level and all details accordingly. We will visit again soon.

had dum biryani, chicken malai boti roll and lahori froed fish... everything was just yumm... waiting time was also not bad...

We tried their baryani and kashmiri chai, both were superb. So glad to find such authentic pakistani taste, would definitely go back again to try some more stuff. Customer service was also very good.

I had the pleasure of trying their Chicken Tikka Boti with garlic naan and it was to die for 🤤 pairing it with the mint chutney was the cherry on top! Great portion size, reasonable prices and friendly staff. 10/10 would definitely eat here again.

Worst of the worst Paratharol i have ever tasted in my life. Pitting oil on any bread piece doesnt call paratha, it was full of sault with absolutely zero taste in it. I took 1 bite and thrown in the bin. I mean seriously have you ever try to taste it by yourself or yours level of confidence is next to sky to sell garbage and expect more customers. Stop selling all items if you arnt good with them, make the menu small but full of taste.

Honestly, place is overhyped. Ordered 'paratha roll' and other nibbles. Taste was just okay, nothing special. I have serious objection on the 'paratha' part, it is made of white flour (not wholemeal) and quite greasy - easy to get it, difficult to take out! If you are okay with greasy parathas, this is for you. Will I go back? Likely Nop. Edit after response from the owner: thank you very much for taking time and responding. Really appreciated. Mate, I know how wholemeal texture feels like. No fuss, if you say, I believe it.

ordered chicken malai boti from uber eats but instead they delivered paratha roll. this is second time we have found discrepancy in order , previously we mentioned clearly not to add the sauce but got a roll loaded with green sauce

Their food is really good but ordering via Uber is a nightmare. They always mess things up. Many times I have ordered and Uber said they are using their own delivery service which they don't have so no one came to deliver the order and I had to pickup. Couple of times, after placing the order they have cancelled saying they don't have that item on that day. It's super frustrating and I wish they can improve their service.
