I
Came
to
the
shop
on
a
quiet
Tuesday
morning
(
11.30am)
31st
of
October.
Not
a
single
person
in
the
store
(
apart
from
myself
and
the
salesperson
).
I
was
after
some
specific
parts
for
a
Turntable
rebuild
,and
had
a
list
of
the
items
that
I
wanted.
Now
firstly.
No
greeting
,
no
acknowledgement
from
the
salesperson
towoards
myself
Okay,
no
problem
,
I
thought
I'd
give
him
a
moment
to
finish
up
his
email
or
whatever
it
was
that
was
taking
his
attention
from
the
myself,
the
customer
.
After
a
few
minutes,
I
stated
politely
that
I
was
after
some
specific
parts,
and
whether
he
had
them
in
stock
(
still
no
hello
or
acknowledgement/
eye
contact
of
my
presence
)
.
He
managed
to
finally
acknowlege
my
presence
and
without
looking
at
me
pointed
at
a
cabinet
stating
something
like
'
that's
what
we
have'
,
and
went
back
to
his
computer
task.
I
tried
(
politely
)
to
follow
up
with
a
few
deeper
specific
questions
,
which
literally
was
met
with
some
more
finger
pointing.
At
this
point
it
crossed
my
mind
that
at
best
they
were
either
very
buisy
,
or
worst
case
scenario
,
I
was
annoying
him.
Sure,
I
was
probably
only
looking
at
roughly
100-150$
worth
of
accessories
as
opposed
to
a
15k
Turntable
or
such.
But
no
matter
what,
I
did
get
the
feeling
that
I
was
wasting
their
time
and
the
store
person
could
not
make
it
any
clearer
that
they
where
simply
just
not
in
the
slightest
bit
interested
in
paying
any
attention
to
what
it
was
that
I
was
after,
or
offer
any
'assistance'
(
even
tho
I
could
see
that
parts
of
what
I
was
after
where
in
the
cabinet,
however
I
did
need
some
professional
advice
as
to
the
right
parts).
But
There
was
simply
no
interest
whatsoever
in
'helping
me'.
I
am
not
a
difficult
customer,
I
don't
complain
,
and
quite
possibly
they
were
very
buisy
with
an
online
order,
or
an
email....
I
don't
know
their
circumstances.
I
do
know
however
,
as
I
have
stated,
that
everything
apart
from
any
questions
that
I
had
was
more
important
.
At
this
point
I
was
exacerbated
to
the
point
that
all
I
wanted
was
to
leave
the
a
store.
I
stated
that
they
had
lost
a
customer
and
a
sale
(
I
guess
$150-200
is
just
not
worth
any
engagement
for
them)
which
was
met
with
a
shrug
of
the
shoulders.
I'm
disappointed
,
and
feel
that
at
least
a
basic
hello
and
some
interaction/
interest
wasn't
to
much
to
expect
,
as
the
store
was
dead
quiet
,
I
was
organised,
and
knew
what
I
was
after.
Basically
I
wasn't
there
to
waste
anyone's
time.
Also
again.
I
am
not
a
complainer,
and
usually
I
wouldn't
bother
even
taking
the
time
to
'vent
my
dissatisfaction
'.
But
this
was
simply
terrible
(
in
terms
of
customer
service)
,
and
won't
ever
step
foot
into
the
store
ever
again.
Further
to
this,
i
have
nothing
positive
to
say
about
such
a
high
end
,
specialised
business,
and
I
will
always
be
honest
about
my
experience,
and
that
will
reflect
upon
Shelby
Acoustics
on
a
whole.
